Alright. Look, I tried my damndest to be optimistic about this place. Heck, I even tried my damndest to avoid writing this updated review. However, my OCD observation skills will no longer allow me to ignore the glaringly obvious issues with this place. Which, of course, all center around one thing: their pathetic service. I feel as if this place is severely understaffed! I mentioned before how the service here is literally hit or miss. The last few times I’ve been here, it ranges between a near miss and an epic fail. Take yesterday, for example. It took me 15 minutes to even be acknowledged by a server and even then… it was the greeter, NOT the server who took my beverage order. It’s as if this place only has two waitresses working in the entire restaurant and one of them is always on a smoke break. It’s ridiculous! I can understand why a majority of people despise this particular Denny’s. It makes taking the extra ten minute drive to Airway worth it. The worst part is… I actually genuinely like the breakfast food at Denny’s. Unfortunately, the inept service kills it for me. In the future, I see myself either making more trips to Village Inn or ordering Starbucks damn near everyday. The only way I could afford to waste so much time waiting to be served at this Denny’s is if I didn’t have to go to work that day.

Denny’s is good because I can grab it anytime. If I want French toast at 12am I can get it. Service is decent it’s definitely not five star but it gets the job done.

I should have read these reviews before we wasted 2 hours and 60 bucks. Only 6 other people in the store and it took over an hour to get our food the last of which came out 20+ minutes after the first meal. The food was cold and they got one of the orders wrong. When I spoke to the shift manager she acted like it was normal and didn’t seem to care. Never again. Don’t waste your time or money. If I could I would give this place a negative 5 stars

We(as in El Pasoans) must really like Denny’s. I mean really, REALLY like Denny’s. I personally don’t really like it, but I also don’t not like it. It’s like IHop or Whataburger… it’s good 2AM sobering food. The one time I did go here, I wasn’t even in the need for sobering food so my judgement was unaffected by hangryness. I’m not entirely sure why we chose to go to this particular Denny’s and I remember it feeling like we were almost going out of our way to go to this. particular. Denny’s. Either way, it’s where we went. I immediately had to start with their mango smoothie thing that tastes wonderful, but also as though it’s just full of artificial flavoring, artificial sweeteners, and other other artificial ingredients that I’m sure a doctor a doctor would to tell me is bad for me(moderation, man). My boyfriend and I were gabbing away while we were looking at the menu so our server had to come back a couple of times. The place did seem a little full, not packed, but he was as attentive as he should be. When ever we finally did decide what to order, he was ready. I went with the Chicken Fried Steak and Charles ordered the Invisible Woman something-or-other(some«special» dish for their Fantastic 4 promotions… although it sounded like something I would’ve found on the regular menu). My chicken fried steak was okay. No complaints. I did substitute the eggs for yogurt and I’m glad I did. My toast was fine. All around an okay meal… similar to something I could pull out of the freezer section at the grocery store. And this is actually probably why I think Denny’s is perfect as sobering food. It’s not really a memorable meal, but it fills you up for a reasonable price.

We went to Denny’s for dinner. We were suprised to see it on post here at Ft Bliss so gave it a try. It was satisfactory. Service was a bit slow and we had to ask for drink refills. I can except this if the place is crowded but this was not the case. Will go back but just because it is convenient.

I decided to give this place a second chance, the last time I visited they kept me and my son waiting almost 40 minutes before they asked us if we wanted something to drink. I will concede that it was busy and the manager and waitress were really nice when I finally got a hold of them. This time I got the same waitress(Miriam I believe) and she was very nice and the service was actually quick. The only problem is that they brought me something that looks like it was created by a child learning to cook. It was burnt, drenched in oil, devoid of any flavor and just all around gross. I know that 5 star dining isn’t expected at a place like this but this is just sad. Also, for some reason the hostess, Brooke, thought it was a good idea to escort some guy around while he asked strangers if he could sit with them… I don’t even know how to explain that. Then again this was the same hostess that blew me off the last time when I told her that my son and I had been waiting for over 20 minutes for a waitress to come to our table(took another twenty before I was asked what I wanted to drink). I didn’t even bother to voice my complaints to them this time because it’s obvious that most of the people at this business just don’t care.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would! My husband and I were seated by the hostess in the nearly empty restaurant. There were three other families, at most, that had already been served and were actively being checked on by two waiters regularly. Aside from those two waiters, there were two waiters standing by the booths by the door(supposed to be bussing tables, but shooting the breeze with table rags in their hands) and one waitress bussing tables across the restaurant. After twenty minutes of sitting at our booth, without one of the five waiters coming over to even ask if we had been served yet, my husband and I got up and began to walk out. One of the waiters by the door stopped us and asked why we were leaving. I told him we sat for twenty minutes and were not even spoken to by a waiter. His response was«I told(Waiter’s name here) to make sure he got to your table!». Well apparently that waiter was too busy serving the one other table he was in charge of. We left after my little«conversation» with that waiter. Needless to say, I will never be returning to this Denny’s unless the wait staff is cleared out and new, more competent employees are brought in.

Orders came out wrong, wife ordered omelette with no mushrooms, showed up with mushrooms the size of half dollars; I ordered with avocado… No avocado… No drink refills, waiting for ever for our check to show up(15 min after we finished eating) piss poor service all the way around. Waitress had 5 tables…

So, I ate at this Denny’s last night. It’s like any typical Danny’s. So so food, and usually friendly wait staff. Although I had a very attentive and friendly waitress, it took a while to even get seated and they were not busy at all. Not that big of a deal to me for I was in no hurry… However, I tried to order the nachos and she informed me that they were out of the queso cheese sauce that normally goes on them. That sauce is what makes those nachos good! Oh well, back to the drawing board. I ended up ordering the tilapia Ranchero. I’ve had that particular dish before, and it’s actually pretty good, and certainly probably better for me then the nachos :-) anyhow, when the dish came out, I asked for some tartar sauce. Guess what? They were out of that too. I love my tartar sauce, and that piece of fish was very dry without it. The mashed potatoes that came with it were also kind of dry, and slightly lumpy. I do have to say however that the Caesar salad was pretty good. The Caesar dressing that Denny’s uses is very tasty. However, all things considered I think it would be doubtful that I would return to this particular Denny’s. I just don’t think the staff are overly disciplined at this location.

Denny’s is Denny’s. Went on Saturday night with my kids. I like the kids eat free with an adult meal purchase. Wait staff was decent with some mistakes but nothing meal ruining. Bathroom was clean. Reasonable price for the type of food.

Alright, it’s like any other denny’s restaurant. The waitress took our orders, and she never asked us how we wanted our eggs to be done for the skillets. She also mixed up my order of milkshakes. I ordered a Oreo milkshake but she gave me strawberry and I had to let her know it was the wrong one. I was wondering how she could mess that up even though there was only 3 family customers in the establishment. Our food came out hot and fresh, pretty decent. She never offered any accommodation for the lack of service she gave us but I’m not surprised about it. Other than that, it’s okay, not that great. I’d rather go to Texas roadhouse, buffalo wild wings or the food court.

I was surprised to see a Denny’s on Fort Bliss, so I thought I’d go in for dinner. Bad idea The worst part was, a been there done that senior NCO type was opposite me bemoaning dropping $ 18 at this Denny’s for a mediocre meal, when he could have gone somewhere else better for less, yet I stayed put and waited for my order instead of high tailing it out of there. The food was cold and the waitress forgot about me but tried to play it off as perfect timing for dessert. Oh and the dessert was terrible too(how do you get dessert wrong?) A tip is expected regardless of service. Try the Texas Roadhouse or something else in the food court if you want to eat on base.

Way understaffed. Empty tables, but a line going out the door. Don’t go there with the noon after church crowd on Sunday unless you have all day to spend there.

Sunday afternoon, not busy, plenty of staff. No excuse for over 30 minute ticket time when all i ordered was a grand-slam-wich and water. My plan was to go and see a movie after first having my favorite Denny’s menu item, a man has to eat… right? My order did come out hot, but i missed my movie

Went for late breakfast service was prompt. Waitress was on her game keep checking on us for refills or anything else. The hash brown with cheddar there wasn’t as much cheddar as I expected but that’s all good. Sweet tea was spot on and was cool when it arrived! Peanut butter cup pancakes awesome but extremely sweet so for warning for those who can’t handle a good amount of sugar. Overall great service and food better then most Denny’s in California.

We went for a late breakfast on a Sunday and were seated within 10min(good) but then… Let me tell you… We waited veeeery long for everything(bad). It was crowded, yes. But then I don’t understand why you only have 2 waitresses working in that area, of which one was just plain slow! You could see she had her favorite customers because she went all over the place but certain people she just ignored. The other waitress was running around the whole time(poor her) and was sweating very heavily which is kind of not so appropriate for when you want to keep your appetite. Also, it took those guys who always clean up more than 15 min to empty the trashed up area next to us(thanks to a bunch of wild kids!) I feel bad for the staff, but seriously… Hire more people! I know they’re hot there looking for jobs so don’t just have 3 waitresses working in one area. On the positive side, though, drinks were for free because we had to wait that long.

Sat with the family for a little over 15 minutes without any orders being taken… much less any acknowledgement from the staff besides the hostess when she sat us. Staff was playing in the kitchen and taking care of OTHER customers. Poor service.

Better off going to Cracker Barrel for the same price. We went this morning and our waitress sucked. I ordered extra ice with my ice tea, when I got it, it was like soup, no extra ice. I also ordered hash browns, never got them and when I did, they were undercooked. My pancakes were completely cold. When I finally got my food, the server asked if I still wanted ice — uhhh yes, I ordered it. I got the manager involved, she immediately agreed, the hash browns were undercooked and had some very questionable black pieces in it, so nasty. The manager was kind enough to comp my meal and ask if I wanted anything else, which I didn’t. Sorry Denny’s I think I won’t come back, for the price you pay, you get much better and much better at Cracker Barrel.

Fast friendly service. Kitchen took a few due to us having a large party but they did a good job making sure everything came out at the same time. Cant tell if food was awesome or i’ve just been eating very poorly while deployed. Regardless this place really hit the spot

Children’s menu was nice with coloring book and caramel dip for apple slices. I sent the rubber skin wings back without trying then and they were promptly taken off. Ordered half order of cheeseburger flatbread. Questionable combination at best. Denny’s is much better when wasted or hung over. Maybe I will be back then and you will see a spike in rating.
