I like this place, but I would have to go more to actually become a fan. I only tried the vegetarian sandwich and it was good but the bread was a little greasy.

I woke up today and really wanted a good sandwich. If that’s you… DONOTGOHERE. It felt like my old frat brothers were making sandwiches in our dirty kitchen all those years ago. I watched one of them dig the soft bread out of my roll WITHHISFINGERNAILS!!! Why don’t you wear gloves!!! One guy got chicken salad on his sandwich and proceeded to spread it all over the roll! This place is disgusting. Spent $ 19 and throwing both sandwiches in the trash.

Great food I got the number 1. The three stooges on sourdough bread and it was amazing!!! First time going and I’m glad I did.

We tried the hawk and the frodo sandwiches. They were unbelievably great! I am never going back to subway again! The staff was so welcoming and made our sandwiches very quickly. The wheat and sourdough rolls were fresh and the bomb sauce is amazing! We will definitely be returning!

Walking in I could swear I am inside Mr. pickles! Cool vibe music going and a lot of cool stuff on the walls! Customer service is pretty awesome! The sandwich was pretty bomb! Great taste! The only thing I could possibly say I did not like was they don’t wear gloves when touching food… They touch everything including meat cheese bread lettuce with bare hands… I was a little grossed out not going to lie… Just because I have a phobia of dirty hands on food that’s going in MY mouth. Other than that I would recommend!

This place used to be mr pickles, and I am not quite sure what are really changed. The environment is the same, majority of the sandwiches sound the same, and the taste is the same. I do miss the mr pickle lollipops and stickers but overall the food the same.

Just went in with my girlfriend’s and we all got the SPONGEBOB. Everyone was super nice and took the time to talk to us and get to know us while we waited for our food instead of being all quiet behind the counter. This defiantly is THEBEST sandwich shop ever. Great food great vibes from employes and an overall great atmosphere inside of the shop and I haven’t even bit into my sandwich yet!

This place has always been a go to sandwich spot, since its Mr. Pickle days I have always received good service with a great tasting sandwich. What keeps me coming back is the quality and consistency. In my last two visits with the name of Sandwich Spot on the building I have been pleasantly surprised that the restaurant has continued to take pride in their quality and service. Dutch Crunch and the Sourdough are both awesome starting points for your sandwich. I always go with the former«LC Cardinal» or now«The Cardinal». The sauces that they use on their sandwiches make them very unique from other sandwich restaurant, I always get extra bomb sauce!

Although this spot seems good, I had to leave. No matter how many times Mr Pickles revises the name, I can’t eat here for only one simple reason; they don’t use gloves. Why? R u that cheap? Subway and togos uses gloves. If you just bought and required gloves, more people would eat here.

First, let me say the service was good. Both employees greeted me upon entering and the young man took my order. However, the sandwiches were disgusting. I’m not overly picky and only leave bad reviews when it’s really bad. This was one of those cases. My wife and I did not finish our sandwiches and ended up going back out for food. The sourdough was hard as a rock. The meat was just off and tasted super processed, like a step better than the crap you had in Lunchables as a kid. The cheese was okay. The veggies weren’t properly dried, making the whole sandwich watery and vile. Yet, somehow the bread still managed to be almost unchewably hard. We were excited about not having to drive to downtown Sacramento for to satisfy our sandwich cravings. However, the Laguna location is a really bad version of that brand. If I was the Sandwich Spot brand owner I would immediately get the Laguna location on board with providing consistent quality… Anyways, needless to say we won’t be coming back.

Previously known as Mr. Pickles, The Sandwich Spot kept the name of the sandwiches, décor, and layout. Still the same great sandwiches with a plenty of ingredients in the sandwiches and a good portion of the overall sandwich. I did recognized some same staff members as before. There are some minor differences like no complimentary lollipop after you pay, some different signs, and no rack of clothes on the wall. Still a great place for sandwiches.

This place was pretty good. I’ve had the Slim Shady, The Albert Einstein, and The WolfPack. All of these sandwiches were great, the portions of meat were awesome considering the price, and the bread was good. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and they assured me they would help me soon as I waited in line. The staff was friendly and they have an awesome selection of old school sodas in a glass bottle. The only opportunity for improvement I noticed would be for employees to wear gloves when they handle the food.

First time trying. Nothing great about it. I got the #15, hot salami. Very very cheap on the meat. I had to move the meat from one half of the sandwich to double up on the other half because it had so little meat. I would be ashamed to serve so little meat! Not worth going back.

This place was really good. I ordered the spongebob. It’s awesome especially with their sauce. It’s definitely worth the price you pay. I will be coming here more often especially since the staff was very friendly and they know the menu. I wasn’t sure what to get at first and they made different suggestions telling me what was in the sandwich that they were suggesting without looking at the menu behind them.

This place is usually good. However this recent order was terrible! They gave me the completely wrong sandwich. They also put entire too much sauce of my girlfriend sandwich, which made it incredibly soggy and mostly inedible. I was severely disappointed.

I don’t require much from a sandwich. I just need bread and meat. Did they give me meat and bread? Yes. Winner!!! I don’t miss the lollipop from Mr. Pickles. I don’t get a dirty look when I say, «no pickles», at this place now.

The menu is rife with great combinations, the ingredients are top-quality(my tomatoes were actually red and ripe), and the ambiance is awesome. The sandwiches were of a good price and the drink selection is on fleek! I had a Faygo with my sandwich!!! The customer service is very good and there is plenty of out — door seating.

I ordered the Herd sandwich on Dutch Crunch bread, and it was awesome. It was a little on the pricey side at $ 9, but it was both tasty and filling. Chicken, bacon, and avocado is always a great combination, and Dutch Crunch bread really completed the package!

If I was eating the food and only the food, then I would give it a 4⁄5 stars. But after my experience here, I WILLNOTBECOMINGBACK! Fast forward, the food was pretty good, it’s not the same as Mr. Pickles and I’m sad that they closed but the food was delicious and definitely satisfied my hunger… Now let’s talk about why this place grossed me out! Mind you, it’s 6:30pm and I haven’t eaten since about 1pm today and I was S T A R V I N G. I rush to thinking what still was Mr. Pickles, but was a new spot called«The Sandwich Spot.» I was so hungry my girlfriend and I decided to just eat here and give it a try. There were 3 people ahead of me and 3 or 4 people after me during my visit. THEENTIRETIMEWEWEREHERE, THETWOFEMALESWORKERSHERENOTONLYHADSOMEWHATOFANATTITUDE, BUTTHEYWERENOTWEARINGGLOVES!!! I WASSODISGUSTEDWHEN I FIRSTSAWTHIS. My acids were eating away at my stomach because I was so hungry and although I chose to eat here on my own fruition, I will take the ownership that I still ate knowing they used their bare hands to make everyone’s food. But how can any business that deals with food allow their employees to use their bare crusty hands to touch paying customers’ food? This not only should break any and all type of health code policies, but this basically means that anyone of these two workers could dig in their nasty butt, stuff their fingers up their nose, sneeze on their hands or lick them for all I know! I’m warning everyone now, unless you want dirty fingers all over your sandwich, or the flavor of unwashed hands all over your bread, please go somewhere else!!!

This used to be where Mr Pickles was, now it is called The Sandwich Spot. The décor seems to be about the same, there seems to be a few new faces. I ordered a turkey On wheat, very good! One thing I did notice that has changed is the calories for things, for example the pepper jack cheese used to have 75 calories per slice, now it was 150? I know this isn’t that exciting but for someone that watches calories that’s an important thing to notice. Overall, the place seems to be about the same as far as taste and prices. They don’t give the tootsie pops tho!
