To be fair, I have only had carry out pizza from here but it’s always good. They’re generous with cheese and toppings, the sauce is good, and it’s always hot and ready to go in a reasonable amount of time. The staff is friendly and I appreciate the separate entrance for carry out orders. Although, and I am not complaining about this, be careful if you get their largest size pizza — it barely fits through the door! :-)

What a surprise. This place seems dead most of the time so I figured the food was sub par. Their pizza was really great, I got the margarita and it was one of the best in elmhurst if you like thin crust — it’s not wood fired though. They give a generous wine pour which is a plus :) everything else we got was very basic Italian joint but the prices are more than fair.

I ate dinner with my girlfriend and the food was not impressing. Soup was served in tiny bowl can feed a bird. I ordered side meatballs and tasted terrible. They were sour tasting maybe they were prep too many days ago and should of been thrown out maybe been stored too long. I sent them back to the server and told her they did not taste good. Management did not even come to my table and say anything about it. Lasagna was fair. My girlfriend ate seafood pasta dish had couple shrimps and tiny little baby shrimps that were smaller than a finger nail. I guess the two brothers went back to Italy. This was our first time and will not return.

We came across this place on groupon and went there for my moms birthday. It was a mistake. My dad had a vegan meal that they made for him. It was watery. I myself had the chicken franchese and my mom had the chicken Vesuvio. Our chicken had the off taste that it was frozen. We won’t be coming back here unless they up their food quality. If you have to go here for any occasion maybe stay safe with a pizza.

Crayons and activities page for the kids to start off. Helpful as there were 2 – 3 other parties and the restaurant was very quiet(and we were afraid we were going to «bring the noise»). Bread and olive oil to start with a nice big bowl of parmesan cheese. Very nice as usually I have to take the cap off otherwise. Crispy thin crust, little thicker than most but mostly due to being airy. The crust was still light and tasted just like the original Stella D’oro breadsticks. Wife and I each got pasta dishes and the pasta was perfect and al dente. Carbonara was creamy and rich with flavor. Maybe a little too much bacon flavor. Chicken Marsala was rich in mushroom flavor and not overly salty. Chicken breasts themselves also had nice flavor and peppered. Not like some places where it’s just plain chicken and they use the sauce to bring out any flavor.

Had a craving for Italian and we were in the area. Walking in, the place is definitely in need of updating. From our table, we could hear virtually every conversation going on in the back of the house. I ordered the Shrimp and Broccoli with Garlic Sauce. The broccoli was cut into large, almost unmanageable, pieces. The jumbo shrimp were cooked well and had good flavor, but they were accompanied by a pile of «baby shrimp» with extremely visible veins. The sauce basically just consisted of oil and there was not a hint of garlic on the plate. When I asked the waitress if that sauce is normally really bland, her initial response was just to tell me it is an oil and garlic sauce. I reiterated how bland it was and she offered to take it back into the kitchen to have them add salt and pepper. I can add those myself. My husband’s Carbonara was ok. It was a little overly«bacony» for me. The salads were not the freshest and the single grape tomato on mine was wrinkly. Overall not a good experience and I doubt we will go back.

Lou Maltinis was better than average but not great. I had the cheese sticks, which were obviously frozen and tasteless. And for my entrée I had the French fries who’s were decent(But still frozen) and the cheese pan pizza was a B on my scale.

Asked for medium well, got med raw, on New York Steak. Girl friend order chicken marsala chicken was over cooked, but the marsala sauce was lovely. Manhattan cocktail was ok. We decided not to stay for coffee. Waitress was professional. Nice atmosphere

Since they are close together, and as an experiment, I ordered a pizza from Two Brother’s from Italy and one from Pizza Palace. In order to do a true comparison, both pizza’s had exactly the same toppings. I like pineapple and Canadian bacon, while my buddy likes Italian beef and giardinera. So, we got ½ and ½, which, by the way, is a good way to rapidly increase the price. Anyway, four of us did the taste test. All votes went for Two Brother’s From Italy. Everyone agreed that Pizza Palace’s quality wasn’t that good. Also, we were all impressed with the 20″ pizza. That sucker was huge. One of the best pizzas in town. As of this writing there are ninety-six restaurants in Elmhurst. I plan on eating at, and reviewing, every one. Follow me on Unilocal

So glad I had a Groupon to introduce me to this gem of a restaurant. Service was wonderful, and the spinach lasagne was delicious. My friends also enjoyed stuffed shells and chicken Vesuvio. I definitely will return.

I really like it here despite the very outdated décor. Perhaps this is why the prices are very fair and the food so good. Pizza is very good and they have a lot of available coupons.

Only get carry out, but best Pasta with seafood and Pizza is near(not quite) D’Agostino’s quality from the City on Addison(not the suburban ones). When my wife and I get a craving, we come here. All other Elmhurst Italian is okay… but Two Bros is very good.

Two Brothers is convenient for me since I can walk there to pick up my orders. I have yet to actually go sit inside and have a meal, but so far the take out service has been very good. I’ve tried a few different things from the menu which is your typical Italian take-out type, although they do have a much larger selection. There are about 20+ appetizer choices to start, from fried zucchini and mushrooms to baked clams and buffalo wings. They have a make your own pasta dish type selection with a handful of pasta sauces the combinations are endless. If pasta is a little too heavy for you, try a sandwich. I typically go for the Italian Beef with hot peppers and cheese. The bun has a nice bite to it and the peppers are overly hot as to not take away from the beef and cheese. I can’t say the food is amazing, but the service and prices are right.

I love coming here and I should have written a review long ago! One of my favorite places in the suburbs, they boast an awesome staff and delicious food. The family is from Sicily, so you need to expect southern Italian cuisine. It’s not like Olive garden or maggianos, which incidentally, are not authentic. The sauce has little more of a kick, saltier. The Eggplant parm is the best I have ever had ANYWHERE! So few places do it right! The thin crust pizza is to die for, and they even have a pizza that is topped with french fries. try it, it’s amazing. Remember to tip your servers! :)

I stopped in after picking a relative up at O’Hare. After running a 5k that morning, I was in the mood for some good pasta and decided to explore downtown Elmhurst. We were sat at 4:30 on a Friday night with maybe three other tables being occupied, and after about three minutes, our drink order was taken. I liked the bread, even though I prefer it warm. It tasted very soft and doughy and had a nice crunchy crust to it. Props for this. We ordered salads as our complimentary side. Just sub-standard with romaine lettuce, one tomato wedge, and one slice of red onion. Actually, it wasn’t a whole slice, it was more like one ring of a slice of red onion. We did not care for the bleu cheese dressing, though I thought the vinaigrette was fine. Good olive oil in it. We split two pasta dishes. The first was an angel hair with tomato basil sauce and meatballs. The meatball tasted more like a hamburger, way too beefy packed very tight and very little seasoning. For the sauce, I liked the fresh basil added in but the sauce was very dark in color and tasted heavy. It was as if they used the previous day’s leftovers and served them to us. I know it’s cheaper to do this, but the quality was very compromised. I also got rigatoni with eggplant pomodoro and Italian sausage. And I liked the eggplant pomodoro sauce, if for no other reason, than it broke up the very tomatoey flavor. And for $ 2.75, I got just one link of sausage. It tasted really good, but one link barely made a dent in all that pasta. Now a lot of people are putting the pizza over and if that pizza tastes good, I can’t speak to it. But sorry, I seriously can’t see myself returning here.

On a relatively late night trip through town, I stopped in for dinner. Two Bros was one of the few restaurants open after 9pm. Long story short, the Gnocchi in Vodka Cream sauce yielded about 3 dozen doughy, tasteless pasta balls submerged in a giant bowl of salty tomato cream soup. Forget about the basic technique of finishing cooking the pasta in the pan with sauce. Gnocchi had to be cut into pieces and individually sauced. The side order of meatballs were served in a small bowl. They were moist and fairly delicate, but incredibly salty, with some pasty, sour red sauce spooned on top. It was clear the meatballs hadn’t been cooked in sauce, but it’s probably better that way given that both sauces at this Italian joint were sadly sub-par. Maybe the pizza is better, from the reviews here it sounds like I should have ordered that instead. Overall, if Chef Boyardee gets a 1/10, I’d give this place a 3⁄10 at most for their pasta and meatballs. Friendly, attentive service garners an extra star in this Unilocal review.

Gosh, I don’t understand the unjustified 1 star review 2 reviews down. I sure did hear him shouting at the owner from the other side of the restaurant, so accusing the owner of being rude is blatant hypocrisy. Such behavior is uncalled for. This place has a lot of regulars and for good reason. I’ve been coming here for 6 years, the staff knows me by name, and the service is wonderful. Prices are reasonable and the food is the best in the area in my opinion(in ridiculously huge portions). You can’t please everyone(and believe me, I’m a picky customer) but to accuse the staff of being inattentive or rude, not to mention the personal attack on the professionalism of the server/daughter negates any sort of decorum on this reviewer’s part. She’s lovely. I don’t work in the service industry, sir, but if I did, I would ignore you. They didn’t. Now go somewhere else to insult people.

I highly recommend this outstanding restaurant. When it comes to Elmhurst, IL, there’s certainly no shortage of pizza restaurants. Having sampled them all, I can say that Two Brothers is worthy of the top spot. With soft, warm lighting and music played at the perfect decipal level, the atmosphere is great for conversation. It’s a great place to take your family or a date. In fairness, I can’t give it five stars yet, because I haven’t had much of their cuisine. But what I have had has been extraordinary. The staff is friendly and jovial, and the price is right!

We grabbed carry out from here due to a super early day tomorrow and it has been at least 2 years since our last Two Brothers meal. My guy went with the shrimp and broccoli in olive oil and garlic over angel hair pasta. Knowing that he was in a pizza mood before he did, I ordered a decent sized pan pizza(the thick homemade) with veggies and olives. And it’s a good thing too because not only was his pasta way beyond al dente; but you could have heard him crunching that broccoli across town. The pizza, on the other hand, was fabulous and perfectly cooked. Wonderful. In the past, we’ve never had a problem. The baked panzarotti is also a favorite and super scrumptious too. So, perhaps, an off night for the Two Brothers(even though only one brother is pictured on their take out menu). Wonder what happened to the other guy? At any rate, I’m sure we’ll be back there again. But for now, I am oh so very sorry that I only have one stomach to give to my country.

Hands down my favorite pizza of all time. Especially since I grew up on it. I can’t believe these mediocre reviews! The Italian salad is to die for, the pizza is what my dreams are made of, and the quaint décor is fabulous. I have started driving to Elmhurst from the city for this pizza, I can’t get enough of it. I know I’m biased because growing up it was my favorite thing, but honestly, I haven’t found pizza in the city in the style of Two Bros. that comes close. I’m always looking, but it’s just not around.
