After shopping in the mall you can grab some good cheap food. Service is good. Love their fries and mozzarella sticks. Drive through is really small so be careful.

I docked one star because I got their fish slider which is like delicious in flavor but the fish wasn’t fresh as it wasn’t tender but hard especially the sides. Their chicken rings were like the same type of consistency in McNuggets and the Burger King grilled chicken burger meaning it’s not really chicken meat it’s more like a concoction of chicken mixed with some type of starch. The flavor is there, the protein is there. You feel full after eating a few. Their fries are the best. Hands down out of McDonald’s and Burger King, White Castle has the BEST French fries. Their veggie slider is OK but not that out of the world. I do love their mozzarella sticks it is soo good and the cheese was soo soft and stringy zomg. They also made it fresh so it was warm. Same with the onion chips. I saw them take it out of the fryer but dang be careful because I burned my lips! Lol they also ask you for marinara sauce and I asked for ketchup. But I ketchup over marinara. And they also give you sauce for the chicken rings. I got their honey mustard which is delishious

I just have to come here every time I’m in New York or Jersey. It’s a simple burger that is in slider form and the taste is okay, really nothing special. With not many people there, we were surprised we had to wait 15 minutes for our food. Fries were bad, they had barely any taste to them. If you’re going to come here it’s most likely because you’ve never tried it, or you’re just feeling nostalgic from coming here in the past.

It’s White Castle soooo… yea, how much can really be said? It’s one of those things that seems brilliant the moment someone suggests it and yet ruefully disdained the moment you wake up in the morning. The tiny burgers were mushy yet delicious. The chicken rings were crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside. And best of all,(forgive me, all you religious carnivores) they had veggie burgers(for my wife, I swear it)!! Unfortunately, our gourmet experience was disrupted by some folks who had clearly imbibed a few too many alcoholic concoctions. But alas, it is late night White Castle(or early morning depending on how you see it) so there’s really no surprise here. Under the right conditions, I’m good for two or three annual White Castle trips. More than that, I really couldn’t live with myself. Good thing my count resets in just a couple days!

So many childhood memories to be had at this particular White Castle, as i used to live right in back of Queens Center Mall in my teens. I frequently spent most of my young life, eating here with friends after school and causing all types of silly shenanigans… Ahhh! to be a kid again. Fast forward 20 years and little has changed. Unfortunately i picked BLACKFRIDAY to go grab some sliders, perhaps the worst possible day to go for sliders. upon stepping out of my car, I was surrounded by Deal seeking, shopping bag yielding lunatics. We were shoulder to shoulder, belly to belly… and my only intention was avoiding there frantic charge into JC Penny for a couple of bucks off some linens. Approaching the door there was a big poster advertising a turkey slider with sweet potato fries which did momentarily gain consideration. But once inside the aroma of the steamed burgers blocked any possible change of my initial pilgrimage. Every table was taken, drive thru was a mad house, quickly approached the counter and ordered 20 castles with cheese. In under 5 mins my burgers where served up. With little ability to ignore the growing aroma from the bag on the passenger seat… I dig in, fingers first, slid a few out. I have to say, the softness of the bun, the slim patty with the onions and cheese was so flavorful, i cant imagine myself enjoying it much more now, than i did when i was a kid.

This is the only fast food restaurant around my neighborhood that is open 24⁄7. I always come here around 1−2am. This is one of my favorite fast food restaurant in this neighborhood. The staff team is wonderful. They’re kind, fast, and welcoming. Most of the older women who works here love to socialize with their customers. They never mess up my burgers which is important because when it comes to my sliders, I’m very picky. They once messed up my order(charged me for a small chicken ring when I wanted a small onion ring). Small chicken ring was $ 2.00 more than small onion rings. I told them to keep the money and just give me the onion rings(I was really craving for onion rings). The manager told the employee to give me a large onion rings including the chicken rings they made by mistake. They also apologized on their behalf. Their customer service is wonderful. They know how to handle issues correctly. The store is kept clean. Bathrooms are offered to customers.

The last time I came to White Castle when I last visited NY in 2005. Now that I live here and there is a White Castle within walking distance, we had to go get some. We walked back on our way back from the mall. This location is busy but they are pretty quick. The cashier was pretty nice and didn’t mind answering our questions. We ended up getting 10 sliders(no onions or pickles) and 2 fries. The sliders are okay, they are perfectly packaged in their individual carton. Even though we ordered it without onions, we can still taste onion flavor on the burger which is okay. The meat is pretty thin on the sliders and I wish it was a little bit thicker. The fries is good, regular crinkle fries. It was kind of pricey as the total came out to $ 18 because I think we got cheese on our sliders and 2 medium fries. But I would definitely come back again. A good(new, for me anyway) fast food option.

After not eating all day and working up an appetite shopping from one end of Queens Blvd. to the other, I decided to enter this White Castle. I haven’t been to this White Castle in decades! The last time was when I was a child and my mother used to bribe me with White Castle in order for me to go to the doctor’s at the now non-existent HIP center a few blocks away. The inside has obviously changed since the last time I visited. Seems to be a bit smaller but there is a good amount of seating with two entrances/exits. They are very busy but seem to be able to keep up with the fast pace. I encountered quick and friendly service. They give you your receipt and you wait for your number to be called. The problem is is that the number is not in bold print on the receipt so you wind up frantically looking for it, wondering if the number they are shouting out at the moment is your order. What I love about White Castle is that they are one of the few fast food chains that are vegetarian/vegan friendly. I really loved their vegan veggie sliders. So good and full of vegetables. The only thing problem is is that they don’t put any condiments on it, unlike their other burgers. Some dressing or a random pickle/chopped onions wouldn’t hurt! The onion chips are great. So are the clam strips. Yes, they are breaded and fried, but they aren’t greasy and don’t give you that sick feeling most fried foods do. They asked me if I wanted any condiments and so I asked for tartar sauce for my clam strips. I go home to see that they gave me hot sauce. Annoying. Really can’t go wrong with White Castle. It’s cheap and filling. Pretty sure I’ll be hitting this spot up again after another shopping adventure on Black Friday!

Haven’t been here for more than 20 years. I thought it would be old, dirty & kinda beat up. To my surprise, it is more or less the same as it was, clean & comfortable. Cheap little burgers or in today’s parlance, sliders. Depending on you appetite, you’ll have 2 to 10 of them. They now have chicken & fish on top of the beef they had before. I would give the beef & chicken a 4, the fish a 3& the union rings a 2 out of 5. Meals are $ 6 – 8 — cheap!

Great food. I’ve been coming here ever since I was a young child and lived around the block from this place. Their onion rings are spot on and crispy and the fish sliders are soooo good. Despite the size of their burgers, they are filling and cheap.

Got sick like 30 min after eating 2 burgers and small fries at this place… I think the night employees have some serious hygiene problems over there… Probably Heath code violations everywhere you look… I would say maybe it was something else that made me sick but today was a controlled event I got sick on purpose to see if this place was responsible for the first hurlfest 3 days ago…

My all time favorite fast food joint. 24 hours and they serve everything at any hour. You cant get breakfast after 11 at mcdonalds. That sucks! And white castle is literally made to order. But its a little expensive

Food is fine, never had any problems with what I ordered. Love their solid, crispy onion rings. Sometimes Burger King can be kind of soft and wet, like they didn’t fry it long enough and the breading was coming off. The Crinkle Fries here are never burnt or overly brown, so I’m assuming they use fresh oil. I am never disappointed with their fries here. I love the cheese sauce. I usually order a whole bunch. Once I got the ranch fries — fries, bacon, ranch, and maybe cheese? Delicious! The real gripe here is that they suck at taking coupons. Don’t get me wrong — they always honor them, but it’s as if they have never seen a coupon before, the way they are staring at it as if it were a extremely difficult math problem. And each and every time, they go to another cashier, who doesn’t know how to input the coupon. It becomes this merry go round of employees who have never seen a coupon before. Seriously, I highly doubt we are the only ones using it, in all of Elmhurst. And it becomes this long drawn out process. I know the managers have a better understanding of what to do – I once saw a young guy in a dress shirt help with the coupon situation — but seeing a manager there is rare. I never see anyone up front and I feel kind of bad that their employees, most of them older and not entirely fluent with English, floundering on their own. A couple things I didn’t care for on the menu: Waffle sandwiches — the waffles were too sweet and it was weird eating it with sausage/eggs/bacon, but that’s just a personal taste preference. Veggie burger — OK, this was totally disgusting. Not edible. I took a bite and couldn’t do it. Gross. This is a fast food joint, I really don’t think people coming here are watching their weight or searching for a vegetarian option. Or if a vegetarian is coming in here to eat… well, then that’s just plain ridiculous.

If you want to stuff on junk food after your shopping trip to Queens Mall, then this White Castle is just one light away. I always like their veg sliders with onion rings. Tasty, cheap n quick– who’s complaining?!

Ahhh. White Castle. I don’t come here often and when I do, it’s more of a nostalgic thing but you can’t go wrong with White Castle for a quick burger and fries fix. This one is open 24 hours and they have a drive thru. Decent seating space. Smallish parking lot. The downside here is if you are driving and go during peak hours, you have the mall crowds and traffic to deal with.

I get a couple of White Castles probably once a year, maybe every two years. This location is where my family used to come on Sunday’s after shopping at Queens Center when I was a kid. They’ve renovated since then but I think I preferred the old days, it used be packed with people… The line would go around the entire restaurant and out the door. The quality was probably better back in the day. So long ago… I only order the regular burgers. Never get it with cheese or bacon. It ruins the burger. The cheese is kinda nasty and the bacon is never crispy. I never get sides either. The fries and onion rings aren’t very good. Not worth the calories. Also for the price, I’d rather get a burger from a sit down restaurant or make my own.

Nothing says«I was out a bit too late at the bar with the guys» better than a late night White Castle run. Typically a high variety seeker, I dash to the counter with one order in mind, ’”steamed’ not fried cheese burgers. I was told to order the burgers ‘steamed’ years ago and have yet to refrain from doing so until I’m corrected. Rumor has it that if the grill is behind on orders due to a rush of customers, they revert to frying. Anybody have any input on this? The aroma of the onion infused sliders brings back memories of bar hopping in the mid 90’s on Austin Street with the premeditated knowledge of a White Caste stop at evenings end. A level of homely comfort sets in as I nestle into my seat and prepare to chow down while wondering to myself who the heck orders clam strips? Far from a fast food proponent, sometimes theres just nothing like a sack of Castles to right the ship and I don’t mean the store bought ones.

I Love my White Castle. Don’t F*#k with my White Castle … Ever. I usually stop here on my way to or from the queens center mall. I need most of my cheeseburgers fresh and this is where I can get them. The frozen kind in the supermarket are great but the real deal is the best. As I am writing this review, eating my double cheeseburgers … I noticed a Asian woman here to my left eating rice and beans. What the hell just happened… I feel weird right now… Speechless.

I may not look like Kal Penn or John Cho but I know that White Castle burgers are definitely a guilty pleasure. I will say that I had a craving for them after a certain elite event that I will not name but their sliders are definitely easy to share and you can probably down like 4 in like 2 minutes. Definitely something that brings back my high school days. Some onion rings, refillable soda fountain, and those mini burger sliders. Its not a real patty its like the thickness of a piece of deli ham and they do charge you extra for cheese but sometimes we all order a crave case when we get together to hang out or watch a movie. It’s like a suitcase filled with burgers. They now have strange things like rice and beans, chicken rings, clam strips and fish sandwiches. The chicken ring slider is not worth it since its only 2 rings inside a little bun and they are flat and not very thick. I also tried the chocolate dipped cheesecake pop which was terrible and very tasteless. It had no flavor, mealy consistency and was very tiny much smaller than the burger king pies. I guess like all white castles the thing to worry about is the clientele and I would have to say there are some unsavory characters that hang out outside of this restaurant. But if you don’t want to stay you can also use the drive through. Also do not park here unless you are eating here. I have seen them tow several cars. If you think you can park here to go to the nearby mall don’t do it! But definitely a good place to have a mini burger eating contest and show off your burger double fisting technique or just hang out and grab some quick grub after a day shopping at the nearby Queens Center.
