Jack In the Box

Whatever manager is working there right now is rude. He Literally threw my bag into my car and ignored me a bunch of times when i said i wanted some ketchup. I had no interaction at all with him. Maybe hes just having a bad day… But you leave your problems at the door…
Thats your manager? The person who people look for in case of a problem?
At the bottom of my receipt it says «now hiring friendly people» … Hahaha

Check your bag before you leave the drive thru. I’ve been here a couple of times and for some reason they always like to leave things out. I never get what I pay for here.

We went through the drive thru a few minutes ago. We had no idea what to order and Abraham was so polite and patient with our family of four trying to decide. I strongly recommend the buttery Jack, I’ve never been much of a jack-​in-​the-​box fan, but this item has changed my mind!

My son, who loves basically any hamburger, told me that it was the worst burger he’d ever tasted. It didn’t even taste like meat. The contents in the bun were a mystery. Whatever it was, it was orangey and mushy. Inedible and he had to throw it out. He was with his grandmother who agreed 100% that it was dreadful.

This review is for a Fast Food Restaurant. With that in mind, they get 5 stars.
Speed of service: excellent. It’s not so crazy fast that you wonder if they had your food under the heating lamps for the past 30 minutes, but as fast as one could reasonably imagine a restaurant actually cooking your food.
Food: excellent. They prepare your food any way you like it, with whatever generic toppings you want added at no extra cost (extra tomatoes, pickles, lettuce, and onions if you so desire). Two delicious tacos for $.99, sign me up.
Also, if u spend the 1 minute it takes to fill out the survey on your receipt, you get those two delicious tacos for FREE on your next visit. Yummmmm :)
I had their fish sandwich on Friday for $ 1.49, and I have to say that it rivals the Golden Arches. The bun might not be as soft as the clowns, but it’s a solid fish sandwich.
I’ve had most of the items on the menu at various locations throughout my life, and Jack is by far the best fast food restaurant, or at least tied with in ‘n out.

I went through the drive thru to get breakfast. Once i got my food, i found that they gave me two different breakfast sandwiches I had to make a U-​turn and go back to the restaurant and get the sandwich that I wanted I had to go inside and when I told them they seemed nonchalant about it and then they gave me the right sandwich and we’re going to take back the two sandwiches I said what are you going to do with these and he said they’re on the way I said oh no known no don’t throw them away I’ll take them and give them to somebody and the one guy would not let me have them until I asked for a manager and I said you’re not going to throw away good food I will give them to somebody on the street if I have to find me this supervisor gave them to me to give to someone else. do check your order before you leave this place if you decide to get food.

This location can make some of the best jumbo jacks around. Lately it seems someone else has been making them, but I am hopeful the other chef will come back. Still, this location has always gotten my order right, the people working at the location are nice. I go here at least once a week, and never have any issues.

I think the people who left good reviews need to try a Jack that actually makes good food. I usually drive to the one in Cardiff, because this one is ⁹⁄₁₀ awful. Incorrect orders, old soggy tacos, under cooked fries, and a crew that doesn’t seem to care. I’ve filled out their surveys on the receipts a couple of times, and never hear back from this location. Other Jack’s managers call me personally if I say the tacos were just so so or have a comment, not even a complaint. I’m not expecting a five star experience, but come on. If I politely request my tacos to be made fresh, please take the 2 minutes to make them fresh. It’s almost an insult when I get soggy, cold, messy tacos. I used to work at Jack. It’s not an unreasonable request. Do what corporate expects of you, and say yes to the guest.

I can’t say it’s the most healthy meal in the world, but for a quick and inexpensive meal there is no other way than two tacos and a regular cheeseburger to fill up and get going at only $ 2.15.

This place has great sirloin cheeseburgers. Great service, nice, happy people.
Always good cook. Best fast food in Encinitas.

They were open late and did not screw up my order.
Pretty consistent food with every other Jack in the Box out there.

Convenient location… Never fail on messing up my order and leaving stuff out :(.

The good thing about this Jack in the Box is that it’s 100% consistent. I know exactly what to expect when I order, and I know exactly what I’m getting. Staff is pretty friendly considering I go here crazy early in the morning to get breakfast before work. No grumpy faces at this location.
The one thing I do have to say is that if you get the teriyaki bowl, the rice is guaranteed to be pretty gross. It’s always either old or crazy mushy. Their teriyaki sauce is BOMB though!

I been to this Jack In The Box many times in the past. However it had been a while since I had been there when I stopped by the other day. When I walked in I noticed that had done a full remodel of the place and had taken out all the booth style tables and replaced them with regular tables and hard wood chairs. When you you sit on these chairs they are very uncomfortable. I wish they would bring back the normal booths that they used to have.

I now have a new reason to go to Jack in the Box (as if I needed one).
The sourdough chicken sandwich. I like to pretend that it’s good for me and I know that the bread is probably soaked in butter but I don’t care. It is tastylicious and now officially my favorite go to fast food.

About as good as it gets… For a Jack in the Box, that is.
Consistently good. Clean dinning room area. Quick and friendly customer service.
Plus, they know us here. They know I like ranch and they know to give Ape her water.

However, I stop by here for lunch once a week and they’re really friendly and fast at this location in particular.
