As an East Coast native, it’s hard to find a pizzeria that really does it for me in the Valley, but I have to say that Pan Pizzeria is the only place I go these days. Super good pizza, and the owner is a great dude! Definitely recommend for anyone looking for awesome pizza in Encino

Consistently good pizza and always ready within the timeframe quoted. To date we have only tried the pan style and like it very much. I appreciate that they do not over-sauce their pizza. While it’s not NY pizza, in my opinion it’s way better than chain restaurant pizza(i.e. Papa John’s, Domino’s, Pizza Hut, etc). Try it!

They have become our family pizza place. They deliver fast, are friendly on the phone and in person when they deliver. Their thin crust is amazing. Garlic cheese bead is even more amazing. Great price and always have a weekend special.

Unclear on their own terms. Tried to use a groupon for $ 20 worth of credit there and they said it had to be on basic items only, which doesn’t make sense. it’s a $ 20 credit and I’d clearly have paid any balance acquired. They insisted on cash with a groupon because they can’t figure out how to process a credit card payment and a groupon, which is why they’re making pizza and not the next generation of apple products… I live next door and wasn’t going to drive to my bank in order to pay the balance, nor did I understand why a pizza priced at 21.99 came to a total of just under $ 27. outrageous, just lost what would have been a repeat customer in the neighborhood.

Really ordered the pizza from here and it seems like the guy dropped it. The other problem was that it was ice cold i guess back to pizza hut we go the only reason why i give it 3 stars is because when i called back and told them what happened the guy was nice and said they will deliver another one. Wow this place was so good idk whats going on .I even got the pic up wish i could show u guys how cold it was now i have to waittttt when im hungry

I’ve heard nothing but good things about this place, including from a co-worker and a random guy I met in a bar during happy hour who randomly conversated about pizzas. ========= THEFOOD ========= ~ PEPPERONIPIZZA — Their pepperoni pizza was pretty good. The dough and cheese were good. Nothing amazing, nothing bad… slightly better than average. However, their pepperoni slices were so delicious. Nice and crispy on the outside, tastelicious on the inside. The edges of the pepperoni slice curled up and were perfect.(4⁄5) ~ THESMOKEYPIZZA — Friend of mine wanted this. I like BBQ Chicken pizza but was a little hesitant because of the corn but honestly it wasn’t a bad combination. The BBQ sauce was decent, the chicken good and the combination of those two with the Sweet Corn made for a nice combo for my taste buds. It could’ve used some onion and or parsley but it was still good.(3⁄5) =============== FINALTHOUGHTS =============== We ordered delivery during Thursday Night Football and it came pretty fast. About 30 mins or so. Their pizza’s were good, I’d probably give this place a 3 out of 5, but their Pepperoni being well above average coupled with a very diverse menu brings it up to 4-stars. Will definitely try again when I’m in the area because some of their unique concoctions sound intriguingly delicious. ============= THINGSTOTRY ============= ~ THEATLANTICPIZZA — Tuna, Shrimp, Anchovies and Fresh Tomatoes. ~ THEQUEENVIC — Pepperoni, Italian Sausage, Green Peppers, Sweet Corn, Mushroom w/sauce on top. ~ THEKINGEDWARDIII — BBQ Base, Crushed Garlic, Chicken, Green Peppers and Onions. ~ THEPERSIANPIZZA — Ghormeh Sabzi. Thin Crust. ~ THEGARDENPIZZA — Garlic Base, Fresh Chicken, Chopped Salad Atop. ~ THETROPICANAPIZZA — Ham, Pineapple w/Coconut Shavings atop* *intriguing

The first time we came here their garlic knots were incredible. The last two or three times they were a little over-cooked, and they had NO olive oil, garlic or parmesan on them. Just really dry. As far as pizza, we usually get some mix of veggies and jerk chicken, which is actually really good. Please bring those properly oiled and garlic-laden knots! This would be a 5-star if they fixed their knots, but that’s almost half the reason I go here!

Very disappointed with the experience and the pizza. Called in and was put on hold for over 5 minutes. No apology. Ordered The Greens pizza and garlic knots. The pizza was cold and soggy. Seemed that this pizza was pre-made and just put in the microwave. There are plenty of other pizza choices in the area, unfortunately won’t be back to the Pan.

Just tried this place and it was amazing I got the Mac and cheese pizza with bacon and buffalo wings the wings were the best I’ve had in a while and the Mac and cheese pizza was amazing. The owner told me about a hot dog crust so that will be next on my list

Probably the only place I’ve been too that’s had decent wings. The Pizza is ok, not the best. They always try to get you to buy the homemade desserts, but I’ve yet to buy it. To be honest, The only reason I even go here because it’s close to my place and they have a $ 10 special for a Large 3-topping pizza carry out only. There’s definitely better pizza in the world thought, but this is decent.

1 star for customer service, which basically means I never got to try the pizza. Their Unilocal page promises 20% off first order through their app. Being new to the neighborhood and seeing favorable Unilocal reviews, we thought we’d give it a try. Downloaded app, registered, ordered, tried to pay — two credit cards declined not once but twice. Called to see if their was an issue. Guy who answered said only manager could help but wasn’t there. I asked if he’d honor the 20% off since the app obviously wasn’t working. Without hesitation he said a resounding no. I told him I’d call somebody else then. He said okay. Apparently, they have enough business and don’t want mine. They don’t have to worry about me trying their pizza now. Plenty of other places in the neighborhood. BTW, my card was not declined at Fresh Brothers.

Came across this place kind of randomly and I’m thankful for it. The first few times I came I tried their preconfigured topping combos. The 5 I tried were awesome. I had most of this with deep dish crust. Amazing. I started to experiment with my own 3 topping combos on thin crust with stuffed cheese crust. Man the cheese crust is balling’. Tandoori, bacon, and Serrano Chile was good. Tandoori, sausage, and Serrano was even more epic!!! A must try on thin crust! When I got here today I wanted garlic knots, which are awesome, but I wanted extra pop. So I asked Rich if he could entertain the idea of a stuffed cheese garlic knot. He got a big smile and said yes. O! M!G! These suckers are amazing! They need to seriously add these to the menu. Total worth any extra cost on top of the normal garlic knot price, which is still inexpensive. Thank guys for great pizza! P. S. where’s the pesto sauce!

So i’ve given these guys multiple chances but they keep blowing it. Wanted to order 4 pizzas at their special price but they said nope only 2. I’m like, I want to give you more money, please take my money. Nope only 2 pizzas at price. So we went somewhere else. Next time, said pizza would be ready in 15, got there 20 mins to be safe, had to wait extra 20 mins. What annoyed me though is there’s no care for the customer, no «i’m sorry it took longer» just kinda a blank stare when I said it was supposed to take 15 mins. 3rd time, order pizza late friday night, they say 30 mins delivered(we live about 2 miles at the most from it), pizza arrives about an 1:15 after call. Again, I say oh they said 30 mins, delivery dude gives me same vacant expression, oh they were cleaning up because it was late. Wanted to grab him like Biff and knock on his head ‘anyone home mcfly?!‘ Pizza was burned too. Basically, they don’t really care whether you’re happy or not and don’t apologize when late. Pizza was ok, 3 and a half stars but then again, it’s all pretty crappy around Tarzana. 3 strikes and you’re OUT pan pizzeria.

DONOTEVEREATHERE! There was hair in my pizza, probably because they pick up there toppings off the floor and the pizza was burnt. The service was horrible and the staff was unfriendly. When I asked for them to remake my pizza, they tried to charge me. The owner looked very shady. If you want good pizza — go somewhere else. Dont waste your money here. This place SUCKS!!!

It wasn’t my cup of tea… Customer service was great and delivery was on time, my boyfriend liked his double pepperoni. I got chicken tandoori and it was alright, I didn’t like it or dislike it … And I rather love something to go again… Maybe I’ll order the Persian pizza next time to see if it’s something unique that’s worth going again for me :)

Ordered delivery from here Friday night. The guy on the phone who took my order was super polite and nice. There was about an hour wait for delivery but that was fine with me. They came right on time and unlike lots of other delivery guys, got into our building with no problems. I originally called to just order the Pepperoni and Chilies pie, but when I was told we could add on another one for just $ 5 we got the fan favorite as well. The Pep and Chillie one was deep dish and the other was a thin crust. I have always been a deep dish girl but I think NYC has ruined me and I kinda preferred the thin crust more. When I first saw the Pepperoni and Chillies pizza I thought it was looking kinda dark/burnt but it didn’t taste that way at all. THe crust was soft. At first I didn’t see much as far as chillies go but eventually got the heat so I was happy. The Thin Crust was just a perfect pizza. We also ordered the BBQ wings which were really great and hot. They didn’t taste like they were fried which I actually appreciated. And on the plus side they use the square system for paying so they can swipe your card right there — which I kinda like more than just rattling my number off over the phone.

This place has come up a few times when I’ve searched for pizza in the area so I finally decided to give it a try and I’m glad I did! I ordered the Persian pizza because I’m Persian and I love pizza. I had high expectations since Ghormeh Sabzi is my favorite Persian dish and I couldn’t imagine it as a pizza topping. Well, my mind was blown an my taste buds were extremely happy! Such a unique combination of flavors that all melted in your mouth. You get the delicious taste and flavor of Persian food with the ease of ordering and eating a pizza! We also got the garden pizza and an order of buffalo wings. The garden pizza was a refreshing alternative to the much heavier Persian pizza. It’s a basic chicken pizza with a fresh and light salad on top. It’s the only time I’ve ever referred to pizza as «refreshing.» The wings were good too. Very meaty! they just needed a little more sauce to be perfect. I can’t speak about the delivery since I picked up the food, but I can say that the second you walk into the shop it smells amazing and you want to eat everything in site! Also, I was pleased to see that the two people working hard to make the food were actually the owners! Talk about a good work ethic and hands on management! If you’re looking to branch out from the usual pizza option I definitely recommend this place
