WORST STORE!!! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE. So last Saturday after spending almost 800.00 at their store on 19 646 Ventura Blvd which deserve more 5 stars, I had to go this location to pickup a few more items which the better store did not have. I walk in, and no one greets me so I walk over to the cases, finally someone comes over and I asked him about Note4 cases so he says I will have to get them from the back so then the next guy brings them out whose name was Pedro, super nice guy. I choose the items I am getting and I told him, I have been a Verizon customer for over 21 years and I get special pricing on their accessories so he goes around the corner asks the manager and comes back and says no I am sorry we cannot offer you a discount. I told Pedro who really went out of hi way to help me that the manager had no sense of customer service, did not even come over to speak with me just said no. The other store guy name Robert went out of his way to really work out all the details, pricing and this idiot manager was not smart enough to come over and say I am sorry but here is what I could do for you… If you are looking for good client care don’t come to this store go to the on in Tarzana. 19 646 Ventura Blvd, and ask for Robert, he has only been there 10 months but he is so helpful…

I got my mom a new phone for Christmas, but it turns out, moving her number to her new phone was a super complicated process. Luckily, John was helping us, and we couldn’t have been more thankful. We were there for 2.5 hours! In 99% of customer service situations, a 2.5 hour appointment usually ends with venom and dagger eyes, but John did everything he could to make the process so painless.

Came into the store requested for help regarding a galaxy note issue. I was told to come into the store by a Verizon employee over the phone. When I came in and requested for help a napoleon complex manager by the name of Vasken Laurancian didn’t even want to look up the information and said I was told the wrong info over the phone. After explaining my situation again he said we can’t do anything for you. I asked him and another imbecile employee by the name of Carlos Andreas for help and to look at my account and he completely ignored me. This is what verizon service does after they take your money.

The people employed at this store have NO concept of customer service. The only exceptions are 2 employees Donald and Deven. The circumstances that bring this to light, are the upgrades of 3 phones on a family plan. Deven helped me out on Monday the 14^th with my Sons IPhone, without any complications. So I decided to see if my daughters and Wife’s phones were eligible for upgrade. Turns out they were, however, I only had time to address my daughters phone on Thursday the 15^th. We were then being waited on by an employee that I will not mention, due to legal repercussions. I will however state that this persons skills were learned at a used car lot, as I had already let him know which phone I wanted, the IPhone 6. This person proceeded to ask my 12 year old daughter what color phone she wanted, and proceeded to show her the IPhone 6s. Not only did this individual NOT do as I wished, he also placed me in a position no father wants to be in. Thankfully, my daughter knows about what we are about, and understood the reasoning of going to the IPhone 6. Then it came to a case for the phone, and I asked for the cheapest available. The «salesman» brought out a bunch of life cases, which are $ 89.99. My response was immediate, «Hell no». Then I asked for a screen saver, and he puts the most expensive one one the counter as well. He then proceeds to tell me that they can only install the more expensive ones, however, they cannot install the cheaper, plastic ones. Hmmm, the average price per phone is $ 700 and some odd dollars, and you are refusing to install a piece of plastic? Get the $?&@ outta here! You have got to be kidding me. Okay, got the phone and left before I started to bite people’s heads off. So on Friday, my Wife wants her phone. I think, what the hell. Maybe Donald or Deven will be there to help me. Nah, some other guy winds up «helping» us out. Ask him for the upgrade for my wife’s phone, and he proceeds to inspect the phone, and states that a phone that has NEVER been close to water, has been immersed in water. So now, they want me to «Buy out» the balance owed on the phone or upgrade the phone and risk getting charged $ 500.00 for the phone. I ask to speak to the manager, and instead the assistant manager comes and gives me an attitude. I state that if this is the way customers are treated, after getting 2 new IPhone 6’s in the same week, I am tempted to bring the phones back, and switch to T-​mobile. The response was classic «Do what you’ve gotta do». Our response was just as classic. We turned and walked out of the store, and will never go back. As I have a contract on my IPhone, that I upgraded in September, I will have to stay with Verizon. However, there is a very good chance I will be thinking very closely with staying with Verizon in the future.

I don’t usually have time to write reviews but this one is worth my time. I went in to try to transfer my phone line from Sprint to Verizon. Had horrible experiences with sprint. I had to be on the phone with sprint supervisors while trying to switch my line. The Verizon representative Donald was so patient! He was the chillest worker I’ve ever dealt with at any phone store. He tried to get my situation settled but sprint wasn’t budging to transfer. Donald was kind enough to explain exactly how the process works and how I’ll be able to transfer soon. Thank you!

i had the worst experience at this store. the employees are beyond rude and treat you like you are their worst enemy. as soon as you walk in its like a gang of them staring you down and judging you and say «how can i help you» with the craziest attitude. the blonde manager i believe her name is HANNAH is the WORST!!! she literally pretended to help me with my phone yet started going through my personal things like my photos and laughed at them when she was just supposed to replace it. then she had one of her minions come and do the exact same thing i felt completely humiliated and mad that they would play weird games with me instead of just treating me with respect and trying to help me resolve my issue. it felt like gang mentality and the fact that you entered the store meant they were going pick on you for fun as a demented team. so digusting! it made me HATE verizon

07÷06÷15 walked in after work (6:30p) and after a holiday weekend. Needed a new phone. Quickly greeted and was put in the queue, you know the sequence of people waiting their turn. Yes, there were 4 people in front of me and I expected that. I was coming in after work which would mean a possible high traffic volume. I didn’t mind the wait, I wasn’t in a rush. JAMES PICKETT helped me move from a DROID to an much needed upgrade (iPhone 6). He effortless explained to me the different options in service agreements, phone models and accessories. When I looked lost in listening to the service plans, he noticed and didn’t hesitate to go back through them so I could pick out the best plan for MY needs. He didn’t load me up on accessories or push me on them. Great person to move me from an antiquated device into 2015.
07÷09÷15 Returning the travel charger. TOTALLY MY BAD. I just got a new MAZDA CX5 last month and did not notice it doesn’t have a cigarette lighter outlet thing. USB yes. Lighter No. Not at all James’ fault. QUICKLY handled by DONALD PRICE. Return took less than 10 minutes. I felt like I was in Nordstrom — no hassle at all. Great attitude and friendly. Noticed HANNAH helping another person next to me and was as pleasant as Donald. Been coming to this location for at least the last 4 years. Nothing but happy returns from me.

Last Sunday, Deven helped me and was extremely knowledgeable and worked hard. The customer service at the Topanga location was horrible, but the service here made up for it. I live 5 – 10 miles away and would travel to this location just because the workers here actually care about the customers who walk through the doors. Thanks again, Deven!!!

If I could give this place less stars I would.
Came in here at 7:30 p.m. on the dot on a Thursday for my 7:30 p.m. appointment. You would think that having an appointment would mean, you know, you have an appointment. No. I was told I would be helped «shortly.» Fast forward to 8:45 p.m. and I was still waiting. If my phone were not completely on the fritz I would’ve just left.
The level of boneheaded inefficiency — apparently their sales people don’t know how to help two browsing shoppers at the same time because how in the world can that be done?! — is pretty jaw dropping. They completely waste time by not prioritizing who will be a fast turn around and those who are not. For instance, I came in to buy a phone with the same contract terms & knew exactly what I wanted. When I was finally helped, my transaction took all of 5 minutes. But I had to stand there for nearly 1.5 hours while witnessing some nasally, annoying woman who apparently has no knowledge about how cell phones work ask 1,001 questions all because she was trying to convince her son to get a Droid instead of an iPhone. Meanwhile, she was trying to convince him to get the Droid because of a $ 2 a month difference. Two.Effing.Dollars. I was about ready to pay them $ 24 bucks to cover a year so they could call it a day.
I wasn’t the only person waiting for unacceptable time periods. One family told me they had been waiting over an hour and another poor soul who walked in shortly after I did was still waiting when I left right before closing time. Maybe it’s a sales tactic? Keep people waiting for so damn long that you’re just worn down by the time you get help. Will not be returning to this store. Ever. I’d rather go to the DMV every single day of the week than come back here.

The minute I walked into this Verizon store I was greeted right away with a hello. After being a loyal customer for 20 years I returned after couple months being with T-​Mobile. If you are ever looking for honest and loyal employees I highly recommend coming here. I was helped from a gentlemen Devan who was the nicest salesperson you can ever ask for.
I was stressed as I needed to transfer several phones. As I am true believer the cheapest is always the most expensive. If you are a person who really looking to switch service or upgrade I highly recommend this Verizon location. The sales person called me the next day and asked if I need anything or I have any questions.
This is the first time I ever got first class service from a Verizon store. I was not rushed and was treated like a loyal customer. Anybody needs help please see Devan. I was not pushed to purchase anything. Honestly goes a long way. I will only go to the Encino store from now on.

When we arrived at the Encino Verizon store on March 19, 2015, we were greeted promptly and politely. After about 10 min, Justina Solis came over to assist us. She spent about and hour and a half with us, patiently and sweetly answering all our questions, as well as helping us set up the new tablet we had just purchased. She made us feel that our satisfaction with our Verizon purchase was important and that we were completely comfortable with it.
Thank you, Justina, for giving us customer service that went above and beyond our expectations. We are grateful for your kindness and your patience and we hope your supervisors appreciate you as much as we do.

Once again, Encino Verizon Wireless shines for outstanding customer service! This time it was Gregory who helped me through a non-​trivial procedure on my non-​smart LG Exalt flip phone, to move pics to the memory card for later viewing on my MacBook Air and ultimate printing. He coached me through the 9-​step procedure, then wrote the steps down for me. You can’t beat service like that!

Terrible service. Called several times but no one picks up the phone. They didn’t have the phones I wanted in stock. Every time I’ve been there I had to wait for hours for what seemed like simple transactions. I now go the other verizon store next to the Topanga mall.

James totally wasted my limited time on a sunday. I told him from the beginning what I wanted. He said it won’t be a problem at all and got me started with the paperwork. After dealing with him and the manager for over 30 minutes I realized that the manager didn’t know much more than James did. They both say you can do it online. Hopefully soon they get rid of retails stores like this to bring my monthly Verizon bill down because the website works better than the «trained employees» My advice is if you want to do business with Verizon, don’t waste your time in this store and go right to Verizon online.

To whom it may concern
I was a prepaid customer at Verizon and I decided to switch to postpaid account. At the time that I switch my account to postpaid at Verizon store the employee did not tell me anything regarding my prepaid account to make sure that I was at end of my billing cycle or at the beginning of my billing cycle because of that mistake I had to wait 4 months to collect $ 60.00 from the company. After making phone calls after phone calls that I was told I will receive the $ 60.00 which I never did. I decided to go Encino Verizon store. I explained to the employee which his name was Marcelo that what was the problem. He tried very hard to help me and he even got the runaround which he decided it’s time for him to ask his manager to help us out. At this point I was very frustrated. When the manager came which her name was Hannah, the employee and I explain to her what was going on. Her responds was there is nothing I can do for you if you like you can go to Northridge store where you perches the cell phone as I said before I was frustrated. I told her that this is ridicules maybe I should sue Verizon. All of the sudden she got an attitude. She responded if you talk legal then I am not going to help you. I apologize to her and I told her few times I am not upset with her I’m just getting frustrated by getting runaround. She said still with the attitude that she is going to send email to prepaid department. After she was done I apologize to her again. And she told me that she should get a respond to her email in 24 hours. She told me she will contact me and tell what’s going on. She never called. I went to the store and she said they have not responded to her email. This when on for few days. Finally after 10 days she said they have not responded to her. And every time I went in she said «oh let me check my email «. She said that I only got $ 10.00 credit and there is nothing she can do if I like I can go to Northridge store or call prepaid customer service. I made a call to prepaid and prepaid transferred me to postpaid I talked to Christa at customer service explained to her exactly what was going on she asked if I can stay online for a few minutes while she is talking to her manager after she came back she told me the manager has approved for me to get the full refund of the $ 60.00.
Christa was very professional and polite on the phone and as you can tell she was extremely helpful. Again I would like to tank Christa for her help and her time and of course Verizon wireless.
In my opinion the manager of Encino branch Hannah is extremely unprofessional, rude and she does not encounter with customers with any kind of smile, she is not helpful at all.
At the same store the other manager Vanesa was very polite and very professional and she encounter customers with smile.

I’ve been a Verizon customer for almost 2 years and overall I’m pretty happy with their service in comparison with my previous 14 year experience with AT&T. I live in Orange County and the visits to several stores there have been mixed. Today I had a couple of technical issues with both my Samsung S3 and accessories so I stopped by this Encino store. Got help by the store manager named Hannah and despite the usual big evening crowd in most stores, including this one it seemed like, she gave 20 minutes of her time to help me, while also assisting her co-​workers to handle their customers. She fixed All my tech problems and I was extremely impressed. Too bad she and her team doesn’t work at any of my local Irvine stores.

I have an older Verizon account with an unlimited data plan. Verizon is killing off these plans when customers upgrade their phones at the subsidy prices. If you want to keep your unlimited data plan you have to buy the phone at full price. I walked into this store fully prepared to pay $ 700.00 for a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and walk out with a cool new phone and my beloved plan intact.
Enter Santiago. Verizon customer savior. He explained how easy it would be to get the new phone at the upgrade price, keep my unlimited data plan and there was a 100 dollar discount in effect for Mother’s day. YES PLEASE.
Over all a really nice store. Surprising large and well stocked. Everyone I spoke to was very friendly and ready to help. I have to drive by a few other Verizon stores to get here from where I live and I will continue to do so in the future.
