I have had Mongolian Grill back home in Seattle before so I was excited to go to one that’s close to School. I showed up around 440. Where I walked up to the door and not one, but TWO signs said that they were open. One flashing and another one of the yes we’re open signs. The door was open, so obviously I walked in. Upon standing and waiting for a hostess I was promptly told that they were closed and to my disappointment they didn’t even offer to let me have some takeout(which was what I was going to do anyways). When walking out I was sarcastically told by the woman hostess to «Have a nice day» and walked out disgusted. Will never return and make the drive ever again.

Gonna have to say this is my favorite restaurant. It can get busy– the only downside– But I have always been treated well, and the food has always been cooked perfectly. I once got my noodles burnt-(it was really busy and the cook was new) but they let me cut the line and get them recooked right away, and I did not even complain! They offered to do it as soon as they took it off the grill. The staff is always friendly, the food always fresh, the place is always clean… all great things!

My husband and I both absolutely love this place! We try to go about once a month. It’s like a 20 minute drive for us, so we always wish they would expand and open another one closer to us. But it’s still the best Mongolian grill in town. So we tolerate the drive. The food is great. There’s a million different choices and you have to try them out to figure out what works best for you. I’ve found some veggies I love don’t work so well in a stir-fry type of thing. So it’s a lot of trial and error the first few times, but once you find the perfect combination, it’s amazing. There’s no shortage to the veggie choices, meats, sauces, and you can do noodles/rice/misu wraps. I leave out the noodles and just do rice with mine. The service has actually improved over the years. It used to be a hostess would dump you at a table, drop bowls off and you’d never see anyone else again. Good luck getting a refill on a drink! But it’s definitely improved. Staff is much friendlier than they used to be, refills are quickly taken care of and they seem more organized. Cooks are talented, taking care of a huge line of customers at the same time. They are always friendly and recognize their regulars. I’ve been at the end of the line before and they are ready to cook my food and I’ll ask if they have room to do my husband’s at the same time, otherwise I’d rather wait. They always make room and are super nice about it, understanding that we want to eat together. They’ve never treated this question or request as an inconvenience. Prices are reasonable. They’ve increased over the years, but what hasn’t? For two dinners and a soda, it’s like $ 25. But for a buffet type setting where you can go back as many times as you please, I don’t think it’s unreasonable. I would definitely recommend that you go in hungry! My husband will starve himself all day in preparation to eat here, so he has more room. Lol. But I understand it because it’s not only delicious, but you want to eat enough that you feel it was worth the money. It’s also a place where once you eat, you feel full ALL day! I typically walk over to Target and go shopping, just so I can get some exercise and rid my body of feeling that full and uncomfortable after eating that much. It’s a place we’ve been coming to for years and will keep returning to for a long time.

This Place deserves every star it gets from me! Hands down the best Mongolian Grill I have ever eaten anywhere on the planet! Have you guys tried the JUNG’S SAUCES that you put on prior to cooking and after the cooking? OMG! Anyhow, The staff is super friendly, the owner is a pretty cool guy & you will just leave absolutely satisfied and completely content. I highly recommend JUNG’S to everyone!

The price was reasonable for lunch and it had a good variety of veggies, meats and sauces. Service was good. I would go back again when I am in the area.

Good food. Place was messy. Workers were as attentive as they could be. It was just people being slobs. Spilling the liquids, letting food get mixed together. Quite a line when we got there and was worried about a wait. But we were seated quickly and food was handled quickly also.

OK, so I want back. Devin, or as I say, «Richard Head» no longer works there. He was fired and from what I understand, he thought he was the«best». Kenny was cooking tonight, great job and the gal serving us tonight came over and apologized, she also didn’t get along with Devin. Amazing what one«Richard Head» can do to a place. We have tried many Mongolian grills and I like the food there the best.

I’m in love with this place! The waitress seats you at either a booth or a table, whichever you choose then she gives you a bowl, you go to the buffet line and fill it with your favorite, fresh meats, seafood, vegetables, noodles, oils, vinegars and seasonings, you hand it to the chef and you get to watch him cook it up to perfection along with everyone elses on his big round grill, he then puts on a plate and hands it back to you, you then add your preferred condiments such as hot sauce, sweet sauce, Siriracha sauce and/or Hoisen sauce, you take it to your table, sit down and devour your heavenly meal. Then as you sit there totally stuffed here comes the waitress who hands you another bowl and coaxes you to do it all again! Oh man, I did, I shouldnt have but I did after which I rolled out of there vowing not to eat again for at least a week! Is what I’m trying to say is that Jung’s Mongolian Grill is a wonderful place and I 100% recommend it to everyone. The service couldn’t be better. You might have to wait a bit in line for a place on the grill during peak hours but it’s oh so worth it… I shall be back!

Excellent Mongolian grill. Best in town that I’ve been to so far. The only thing I would love to see there is bamboo shoots! Which is standard for Mongolian!!! Other than that… No complaints!!!

A decent Mongolian barbecue is a rare find around here. I just say that I was quite impressed with the food and overall presentation. Waitress was sweet and offered to box up our leftovers. Needless to say we were not able to finish our meals. Do you ever at an all-you-can-eat? By the way, hoisin sauce is an option. Yaaaaaaaas. That made me so happy. Jung will see me again.

Nice selection of food to grill although the line to get on the grill can be slow during peak times. Staff is friendly and they do have brown rice if you want it rather than white. Would be 5 stars if they did a better job with cleaning up the food that falls on the floor around the serving area. Overall, I’ve been here a couple of times, it’s a great value, and I’ll be back.

This place was everything I wanted it to be and it was very reasonably priced! I would go back if they had one in SF. I wish they had a spicier option for sauces but other than that it was amazing.

Jung’s Mongolian Grill is one of my favorite restaurants in Eugene. The food there includes a lot of options for vegetables, meat and seafood. I’ve never waited for long for a table, even though the place seems to be full every time I go in. The prices are great for the type of food that it is. I can eat a lot for the price of the one bowl and a drink. The wait staff and the grill cooks are always friendly and helpful. I just wish it was closer to my house– I’d go there every week. The owner is a friend of mine that I used to train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with. He’s fought in several amateur MMA events in the Eugene area– not that it has anything to do with the business review, but I thought it’d be an interesting factoid about the place.

Best Mongolian Grill in town, don’t bother going to any of the others. Great food, great prices, excellent quality. Lots of choices and you get a good bang for your buck, plus the restaurant is the nicest of any of the other Mongolian Grills. Crave it all the time!

I think we pick the right Mongolian to stop into tonight. The food was fresh and there was quite the line at the grill. The guys working to grill did a great job keeping the food moving. My only disappointment was having only one noodle instead of some options. Good choice of vegetables, meats and sauces. Dining room was clean and service was on point. Will be back!

I have not been to a Mongolian grill in ages since the last one closed in the east village of NYC, so it was a surprise to find Jung’s in Eugene. For dinner, $ 11.25 is a super bargain. You’re given a large bowl to load up with noodles, meat, veggies & your customized sauce. The meats(beef, pork, lamb & chicken) are decent, same as what you would get at a hotpot joint. Vegetables are fresh cut with a varied choice of broccoli, zucchini, onions, mushrooms, baby corn, tomatoes & peppers(green & jalapeño). Load up your bowl, sauce it and hand it over to the chef to cook on the giant hot plate on steroids(5 ft diameter?). Just because we were the only Asian people in the place doesn’t mean they don’t know what they’re doing. The guys worked it almost like they were at Benihana, tossing, turning, basting & serving up. If you didn’t put on enough sauce, they will add more for you. And if that wasn’t enough, you can add more when they hand the steaming plate back to you. If you’re hungry & looking to chow down, grab a bowl, pile it on and crank up those chopsticks! When you’re done with your plate, go and do it again because it’s all-you-can-eat and the limits of your stomach will be tested.
