Great place! My boyfriend and I go here often because of their friendly environment and good food. The service is pretty good and they always get anything you want. I always ask for their habanero salsa and it tastes great! I get their steak and chicken fajitas every time I go in. They cook the meat to a crisp without making it dry. Their portions are big and the price is decent. Their drinks are really good as well, a little on the pricy side but they are pretty big. I love this place and recommend people to go here who like ethnic food and a great restaurant feel.

We have visited here many times and never been disappointed until today. The food was delicious as usual but the service was horrible. Really there was no service, our food was dropped off and that was it. I guess they don’t do refills anymore, because I had to eat my entire dinner without anything to drink. My tea was empty and every time I tried to ask for help the wait staff were rushing by me and never stopped. They also never offered to refill our chips which isn’t a huge deal but they always had until this visit. They never brought our check either. After this I’m not sure we will be going back. I have always went here because of the good food and service, without the service I can find good food elsewhere.

Food and drinks have been delicious every time I’ve gone here! I highly recommend the steak fajitas and the blackberry or Cadillac margaritas!

We live in the area so we come here often. Had my 21st birthday dinner here, too. Love every experience we have here and the food is always great. Love love love. I usually get the chile relleno or «the Veracruz» is the bomb diggity and I say you try it!

This was one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve had. There was a group of six of us. It took them 45 minutes to even take our order. They messed up my friends nachos order. I also ordered nachos and kept it simple. Cheese, Carne asada and sour cream. They added refried beans to mine. And when I got the bill, the normally like 8 dollar nachos were 13.95. They had added an upcharge of six dollars for Carne asada without telling me upfront. When I asked about it, the waiter said yeah that’s the charge, you ordered it, you pay. This is only the second time in my years of eating out that I was so upset that I didn’t leave a tip

My date and I ate here recently. She was pleased with her food and I was disappointed. The server took our order, dropped our plates, and never came by again until it was past time to deliver the check. My carne asada burrito looked great with fresh ingredients over the top and was delicious– but for the meat. The carne asada beef was tough, dry and very difficult to chew– obviously way overcooked both in appearance and in taste. Whoever put that meat in my burrito needs serious training(or maybe a good talking to). My date had a chicken burrito and was very happy with it. I also observed that the burrito shells are better than most — not the often-used ridiculously thick shells, but much more tasteful than that. I would give my plate 2 stars or less, my date’s plate 4 stars, and would give the service 2 stars. I told the server when he presented the bill that I was disappointed in the meal and in the service and why. I was kind about it, but still got the point across. He returned with the bill, having removed my meal. This was more than asked for and more than needed, and I respect that. All in all, not sure if I would go again, but might give it another try.

Our favorite Mexican around! From chips and salsa to main course to service, we’ve never had a bad dinner.

I’ve been here once. If my experience improves in the future, I’ll adjust. The food was good and the restaurant itself was clean and in good order. I had the shrimp fajita burrito. It was tasty. Unfortunately my service was pretty non-existent. It wasn’t that they were rude, they simply weren’t there. I happened to be alone on this visit, so perhaps that influenced the level of service. I’ll definitely go again and hope to have a better service experience.

My husband and I have been here a few times since moving here in June. We absolutely LOVE the food here. Especially the fajitas(chicken), the Veracruz, and a plate of just the chicken enchilada portion of the Veracruz(I don’t remember the name of it and can’t look it up on their menu). The sauce of the chicken enchilada dish is absolutely delicious. The chips are served warm, the salsa is nice and spicy, and the drinks are tasty… so why only three stars? First of all, it’s a bit of a wait to get food and special drinks… But, mostly, it’s the service! They are slow to take your order. They don’t come back and ask how the food is after it has been served. On every occasion we had to flag people down if we needed something. Our waitress walked passed our table countless times during the course of our meals but she never stopped and asked if we needed anything or made any eye contact. I felt like I was a burden being there. On our second visit there we waited ten minutes for someone to come and pick up our credit card for the bill only for someone to FINALLY come and tell us we needed to pay up front(which was new). If the food wasn’t so good I would definitely not be going back because of the service and wait time for the food… but one bite of the food is worth the wait and the service!

Eh… nothing too special about this place. The food is mediocre and service is TERRIBLE!!! Every server is too much in a hurry to refill your drinks and could care less to check on your food once it’s delivered which was too bad because my food was ice cold and couldn’t send it back because no one ever came back.

Really liked this place. Great neighborhood with a super clean atmosphere. I had the Fajitas and my wife a combination dinner. Both were great. Good full bar. Fajitas come sizzling on a platter.

5 stars for Adolfo! My husband and I love you. Unilocalers, if you have a chance to go to Los Dos Amigos, go whenever Adolfo is working. He is the sweetest, most hard working person. He memorized our favorite drinks the first time he took our order, now when he sees us coming he’s has our drinks ready for us almost right when we sit down! Love him!

Okay Latin food, chef Mic works here… Meaning microwaved food, uneven heating, over usage of cheese. Drinks are good plates are over sized Good nachos, interesting dishes…

I have so many memories of this local joint, that span back some 8 plus years. A bunch of my friends used to work for Remaxx and Los Dos was our spot to unwind or simply have ‘meetings’. I don’t get to go as often anymore because I live so far on the other side of town(and by far I mean like a 10 minute drive). So when I do get to go I pretty much always order the same thing… enchiladas rancheras. It’s like crack for me, that sauce is just.mmmmm. And for two enchiladas, rice and beans, it is SO filling. Los Dos is such a great place to socialize, bring in a group of friends and watch the game and laugh over ridiculously large margaritas and pina coladas. My last visit was a huge disappointment. My friend and I decided to grab some dinner after an event we’d attended and were so hungry. It was pretty busy as usual, so we placed our orders to go. Well the people seated next to us, who had arrived and ordered after us, got their meals while we sat waiting to receive our order and pay. We decided to just walk up to the counter so that we could at least pay, and then proceeded to wait quite a bit longer for our food. Once we got our food, we left and took our respective to go orders home. Once I got home I realized that the dish I brought home was not the one I had ordered. Not a big deal, I figured there was no point in driving all the way back, waiting for the right order to be made then drive all the way back home. So I called the next day and spoke with the manager who quite frankly made me feel like I was being grilled for doing something wrong… he kept asking me, why didn’t I call back, and are you sure it was the wrong order, how do we know what you ordered, am I supposed to take your word that it was the wrong order, only to concede that if I came in he’d refund me saying, it’s only $ 10, $ 10 isn’t going to make or break me. There was no understanding or apologies… which threw me off since I’ve always had such a great experience every time I dine in. So will I go back and get my refund? Yes. Will I go back to dine anytime soon? I don’t think so. Customer service is huge in my book, and when someone such as the manager can’t even muster up any sympathy for a mistake they made and automatically assumes that I’m trying to scam them… well it doesn’t sit well with me. I do love the enchiladas ranchers at Los Dos, so I will go back at some point… but not anytime soon.

We visited this location at the recommendation of a close friend on Sunday. I forgot to check-in(drat)… First step of a GOOD Mexican restaurant — they served warm chips at the table with salsa. NOW I LOVE spicy but this salsa WAS on the spicier side… not to worry just ask and they will bring out a mild(also known to me as flavorless) salsa for you. Our friend ordered a side of guacamole for the chips and OMG I will definitely be doing that in the future. I think we ate three baskets of chips — which they were happy to provide. Service was attentive overall and friendly. Explanations were thorough and prompt. I had iced tea and needed to ask for refills but that is probably due to my preference for spicy food(HAHA). Dad and mom each ordered combination plates. HOLY Mambos the size of the combination plates did not leave anything to be desired. They were huge. As always the beans and rice took up some of that but there was plenty of food. Dad ordered black beans so remember you can change the type of beans you are served on the side. The tamales were all apparently shredded pork(this may change based on the day but this was all that we had an option for) and they were good. Tacos looked good and crunchy. Average size with a choice of meats. Tostadas were the smaller corn tortillas/flying saucers and they had a lot of the good for you stuff(aka lettuce tomato and cheese I think) on top. Our friend ordered Taquitos and that was a fantastic size plate as well. They were different than I am used to in San Diego — but the flavor was excellent. They were a bit bigger and not rolled as tight and compact as I am used to. Plenty of meat inside though so this was ok for the carnivore in me. I ordered Fajitas Trio — the Shrimp was pretty good but I won’t order it again as I prefer a more lime marinade on my shrimp/. The steak and chicken were both good and the veggies grilled were fantastic. Corn or flour tortillas were served with it and guac and sour cream. We shared a fried ice cream. You really can’t go wrong with this — I would have liked a little chocolate syrup on that but it didn’t come with it. Had a cinnamony flavor with the crunch and the flavor of the ice cream was good. I want to come back and try some drinks here. I am not a To-Kill-Ya(tequila) gal but they have a LOT of mixed drinks that looked fantastic! Looks like the lunch menu is also a GREAT price and good options. YUMMY overall.

I’ll give it 5. While I don’t feel like there’s anything particularly outstanding about LDA… I also don’t think there’s anything terrible about them. I’ve been eating here(very infrequently) since their opening day – which, coincidentally, was my best experience there yet. LDA is what you’d expect and hope it to be, as far as Mexican goes in the EUG. It’s conveniently located, cleanly appointed, reasonably priced, sufficiently delicious, and staffed by friendly folks. It’s definitely nowhere near my first choice for grubbin’s, but it’s a good once in awhile place. I’m told their drinks are fantastic. But I can’t vouch for that.

I have been a frequent patron of this place and I always leave happy each time. The entrée of choice for me each and every time is the Pollo Crema. It is to me the best thing on the menu. I would strongly suggest it. The service is great. Very vigilant and my drinks are refilled fast. If you are in town and want some good Mexican food I would tell you that you won’t go wrong with this place.
