Family tried this place out do to the reviews. All I can say was WOW. This is our new spot to go to for getting subs. The Quality of the subs are superb, the Staff was Very Friendly and they recommend Mikes Way on our sandwich plus they gave us a Free Cookie for a Rookie.lol. we got the #13 Italian and #9 sub supreme. We will try the hot sub next time

My Husband and I were here yesterday afternoon. Never been here before. Place was clean and although the employees behind the counter weren’t super vocal they were pleasant once they started talking. I ordered a turkey sandwich and my husband ordered a Reuben. Both were nasty. My turkey wasn’t even as good as Subway which we all know is pretty basic compared to like Diggers in Vacaville. The turkey meat was pale and flavorless, as were all of the ingredients as a whole. The Reuban was equally distasteful. The thousand island dressing they used tasted just wrong. So needless to say I will not be eating here again.

I ordered two Reuben sandwiches, one for me and one for my wife. While we both agreed the pastrami was delicious, the kraut was on point and the rolls were soft and wonderful, it was seriously lacking quantity. The pastrami«layer» looked like a roll of quarters viewed from the end. For the price paid, I definitely expect more meat. Togo’s pastrami is much better, quantity wise but probably just a little bit less than Mike’s quality. So in my opinion the perfect union of Mike’s pastrami with Togo’s quantity would be absolute bliss. Put more meat on the sandwich and it would be amazing.

Not bad but, not great. I had a very minimal amount of meat on my ham sandwich plus the ham was very rubbery not great quality. Although my husbands Philly cheesesteak was outstanding he loved it. I will return to get this place another try I just know not to do the ham there anymore. Customer service was great as well.

Came here a few weeks ago and got an Italian Mike’s way and a pastrami sandwich. There should have been a little bit more meat on the pastrami sandwich. If there was it’d be worth the money and I’d be back. The Italian Mike’s way got way too soggy too fast. Meh it’s an upgraded subway.

We tried it for the first time today after seeing the reviews and it was okay. I ordered the regular size turkey provolone(#9) on wheat without the vinegar. I was a little bit disappointed when I heard that they only carry white or wheat bread. But every sandwich shop is different. In terms of taste, I felt that the seasoning took away most of the flavor from the turkey and cheese. Don’t get me wrong, I liked it, but there was a lot on my sandwich. I saw the amount, which coated the whole slice of bread, when I went to take off pieces of tomatoes, and it actually reminded me of pizza seasoning. With size, on the other hand, the regular is pretty big. I left somewhat full, and that was without a side of chips. In terms of price, however, I feel that it is pretty expensive for what it is. The total came out to $ 23 with two regular sandwiches and a drink. We usually spend around $ 12 or so for 2 sandwiches, but we disregarded the price this time since we were trying something new. The taste didn’t really match up to the price of the sandwich so that left me with a little bit more disappointment. The employees were nice and welcoming. They immediately picked up that we were new to the shop and offered us free cookies for being«rookies». Never visited a place that offered something like that, so I found that really cool. I liked the cookie more than the sandwich, so I feel bad about it. Will definitely give this place another try — just a little bit later in the future.

I flipping love this place. It is the only place I go to buy a sandwich. All the ingredients are super fresh and very tasty. Love it. My fave is the number 1. All the workers are very nice and friendly.

I only recently discovered Jersey Mike’s and was happy to run into this location during a road trip. My favorite sub is the original Italian(number 13), Mike’s way with bacon… Because you have to add bacon. Seriously, why would you not add bacon? Normally, I’m not a fan of onions on a sub, but for some reason they get just the right amount and it works with the total sandwich. I’m hooked. The location is in a plaza with a bunch of other franchise or chain restaurants and I think there are a couple gas stations as well. It’s clean and brightly lit with about a half dozen booths which each seat four.

So I just moved here from New Jersey and was happy to find Jersey Mikes here. The reason I am giving this particular store a 2 star is they don’t carry gluten free bread. I have eaten at 2 dozen locations and this is the first time I was not able to order GF. The owner needs to call Cisco foods and order the bread. They have 2 dollar up charge for the bread and I am sure it helps the bottom line. Order it and they will come!

Exactly how it should be done! They sliced my meat and cheese right onto the bread. Make sure they do that for you!

Hubby & I visited for the first time today, and tried 2 sandwiches: Chicken Parm was one, Chicken Philly Cheesesteak was the other. We split both so we could both try. Chicken Philly Cheesesteak was delicious, we each finished our half. The Chicken Parm was sort of gross… WAAAY too much sauce, super soggy, & we each took just one bite & tossed it. Basically a sayce sandwich. Sadly, it’s a couple hours later, & both of us are nauseous with gurgling stomachs & multiple bathroom trips. We were each off doing other things when it hit, and neither knew the other was sick until a few minutes ago. Ugh. Needless to say, we won’t be back. Bummer.

Finally came down here after hearing so much things about the spot. The store itself is small, but even on a busy Sunday afternoon my friend and I were able to get a table. I ordered a basic turkey sandwich on wheat bread. I also got some chips on the side too and a drink. It was a pretty good sandwich. The bread was absolutely delicious and kinda makes the sandwich and it had plenty of meat in it too. They also used deli pickles which I enjoyed too. The lady that helped me was very quick and I literally had all my food within two minutes. The place is very clean and had the game on too which was great. Although I didn’t think it was the best sandwich I’ve ever had(Jimmy Johns still has that) I still think it’s definitely a step above Subway! Overall, worth a look and I will definitely give it another shot sometime soon!

Love these subs — they are so tasty! Service is always good at this location, too. I love the #5 — Mike’s way, no onions and add pickles.

Had my first experience with ‘Jersey Mike’s Subs’ yesterday and it was great! I tried the Original Italian(lucky #13) on white bread and had it Mike’s Way(onions, lettuce, tomatoes, olive oil blend, red wine vinegar & spices). Now for the review… The bread was a perfect texture, slightly crunchy on the outside with a soft middle… just enough pull to enjoy. The combination of Italian meats were crazy good and very plentiful. As for size, I went with the Giant(14−15″) you know, in case I wanted to share it(sadly, that didn’t happen). Having never heard of Jersey Mike’s, I had no real expectations. After my initial visit all I can say is this place is legit, my new fave for subs/grinders. The line was long, but moved pretty well and the service was polite and attentive. Just wish it was a little closer to work; tight fit for my lunch break. Next time I will try their mobile app to pre-order. Now just put one in Vacaville!

A good Philly Cheesesteak is hard to come by around here and I’m happy to say they have one here! I seen some great pictures others have posted and I had to try it. I love eating at the Cheesesteak Shop in Suisun but I wanted to see how this sandwich shop would compare. So I order a regular cheesesteak, nothing special, the owner was making our sandwiches and also gave us the story of how Jersey Mikes was created. They were fast, the packaging on the sandwiches are nice, and they even gave us free cookies. As for the the Cheesesteak, it had a good amount of meat. I feel like for the price it’s fair, so there’s good value there. Biggest difference between eating here and the cheesesteak shop is that I feel like the ingredients here are fresh, less grease, which might help u feel less guilty after eating one. It’s a nice change of pace to grab a sub here because they use fresh meats. You can tell the difference from eating Subway and Safeway.

So after my disappointment at the Boon Fly, I had to think fast. Had to be somewhere at 11:30 and had planned the whole boon fly(perfectly) I thought. Yet I was wrong :-(… So on my drive back I place my order. Next available pick up time is 11:21 hey give me 9 mins to get to my final destination. I get there and like always they already know who I am, so as soon as I walk in the start looking for my order, my receipt for me to sign. I go get my drink and return to sign. Everything is ready and wala I’m out the door. In the car and everything by 11:21. Now the food is always great this new chicken club just adds to the many great sandwiches they already have. They literally have a sandwich for everyone… Well feeling happy now that I got food and was able to get to my destination on time. A win win thanks to Jersey Mikes

Yo, Adrienne, I’m from South Joisey and I approve of Joisey Mike’s hoagies! Seriously, I am from South Jersey, outside of Philadelphia, and I think Jersey Mike’s Original Italian is both really tasty and authentic. I wolfed mine down and every delicious bite brought back memories of back east. Jersey Mike’s uses Real Bread like a Real Bakery might serve, much better tasting and heartier than the wimpy bread served up at Subway. The meat portions of their cold subs are also much more generous than the skimpy thin layers served at most competitors. They flavor their Original Italian sub with oil(not mayo) and Italian spices which is an authentic touch and gives the sub its special flavor. I also tried one of their cheesesteaks, and sadly for Mike’s I think the Cheese Steak Shop is still the place to go for this Philly delicacy. Mike’s cheesesteaks were simply short on meat and therefore lacked flavor. I have yet to try some of their other offerings, I seem to always fall back on their Original Italian! I rate Jersey Mike’s four stars but will raise them to five if I try and like more of their sandwich selections. Just one last comment: in South Jersey and around Philadelphia we call these cold-cut creations«Hoagies» not«Subs,» so perhaps Mike is from North Jersey???

I like jersey Mikes sub shop. It’s always busy. The lines are always pretty long. It’s kinda like the other sub shop but a little bit better. The sandwiches, even though it takes a little longer to make, are delicious. The staff seems to take their time making the sandwiches and handles them with care. The employees are very friendly. Great customer service. The floor and tables are always clean when I come in for lunch. Someone is always wiping down tables. Jersey Mikes Subs reminds me of the other guy but the service is much better here.

Moving to Fairfield left a Jersey Mike’s sized hole in my heart(if I’m leaving body parts behind though, could I just have left part of my stomach? My love handles? My toe-thumbs?). We moved here a year ago, when this location hadn’t opened up yet. I’m a big fan of the Jersey Mike’s chain. My husband and I would get sandwiches from our local JM’s all the time down in LA. His go-to was a giant roast beef(no cheese, Mike’s Way without the juices), while I’d splurge with a regular BLT(Mike’s Way w/juices). The location we’d go to(Van Nuys) seemed to run out of a lot of ingredients early in the evening. If you ever want to see my pupils turn red and steam come out of my ears, just tell me you’re out of bacon on a Wednesday during my monthly cycle. Burbank location, flawless. Tarzana, weird employees but otherwise good. So, let’s talk about the Fairfield location. I realize it’s only been open for a few months. When I first saw the sign driving by, I almost peed my pants. I mean, they could have easily opened it in Walnut Creek with all my other favorite restaurants(Zachary’s and Tender Greens seem like a lifetime away sometimes) — but no, it’s actually in Fairfield. Sweet! I’ve been in about 7 or 8 times so far. After the third time, the employees started to recognize me, probably because I usually come in around the same time and get the same sandwich. They’re all very friendly, but most of them are very young and immature. One time, a kid was finishing up my sandwich and started commenting on how gross it looked to him. Things like, «Ugh, gross, bacon. I HATE bacon. Isn’t it pig? Aren’t you eating a pig right now? Ew.» I get it. A lot of people don’t like bacon. But guess what… I DO. And I’m a paying customer who happens to be hungry, grouchy, and tired after a two hour commute that usually consists of a stinky mouth-breather invading my space on BART. My first two jobs were at sandwich shops. It’s not a hard job, kid. Probably best to just keep your opinion to yourself and find a different way to provide«excellent customer service.» But that wasn’t the biggest deal in the world. My only real complaint is the lack of organization. I really hope it gets fixed with time and better employee training. The ordering system has been very inconsistent. Sometimes there’s an employee taking orders with a notepad. This doesn’t always work out, because I believe the notepad is just for hot sandwiches. The order-taker doesn’t always communicate with the employee starting the sandwiches, so if you order a cold sandwich, sometimes your order gets lost in the mix. However, sometimes they have their system down. I order a sandwich, the employee I spoke with is the one who starts to make it, and they do a great job. I’d say this is what happens 70% of the time. Hope that gets up to 100% soon. As a picky eater, one thing I love about Jersey Mike’s is how the employees are trained to constantly clean as they go. I’m constantly seeing them wipe down the cutting board so that people who don’t like oil/vinegar don’t get their sandwiches soaked in it by accident. POINTERS for first timers: — Do some research on the menu first. Here: — Giant is HUGE. Regular is probably what you want. Mini is a little smaller than a regular. — They usually start moving at the speed of light to slice up all your meat and cheese, so if you have a special request like«no cheese» or «extra meat», just make sure to tell them right away. — Know the lingo. «Mike’s Way» means they’ll put lettuce, tomato, onion, seasonings, oil, and vinegar on your sandwich. This does not include mayo or mustard. «Mike’s Way, no juices» means everything I just listed except olive oil and vinegar. They also have mayo, mustard, and various other topping available. — Get a Shore Points card. It’s free and worth it. All you have to do is punch in your phone number every time you come in and the points get added on. You need 48 points to get a free Mini, 72 to get a free Regular, and 144 to get a free Giant. Come to think of it, I believe there’s a smartphone app now that you can download. Gotta get on that.
