Visited this Denny’s for breakfast and had a great experience. Granted, it is older and looks a bit worn. But it was clean, and not many customers at the time. I ordered the bargain Grand Slam, which was 2 pancakes, 2 eggs and 2 slices of bacon or sausage — all for $ 4.00!!! The food arrived quickly and hot, perfectly prepared. Yum… The real star at this location is the server Lynn. She is amazing, efficient, and sees that all her customers are well taken care of. Customers that were ‘regulars’ were warmly greeted, as she remembered them by name. Several were seniors in the area for medical appointments. What is truly incredible is that Lynn has worked at this Denny’s for over 30 years! Now that is dedication, for a job that started out as being ‘temporary ’ as she describes. So this is standard Denny’s food; a bargain for a great breakfast. But the real reason to eat here is Lynn. Cannot wait to go back for breakfast again.

Horrible service!!! Last night 3 of my family members and myself stopped by for a late night snack on our way home from an evening out at about 11pm. The restaurant was basically empty, maybe 3 tables had people in them. It took a better part of 10 minutes to be seated. Then once we were seated we were almost immediately greeted by our waitress and asked if we were ready to order… Mind you we had only been seated by the same waitress maybe 2 minutes earlier… The food was not the best, my Daughter on-law ordered salmon that was dry and fishy, my Wife had the fit slam which was over cooked and tasted bland like it came out of a box, my stepson hand no complaints about his chicken fried steak, and I had a skillet that was mainly potatoes that should have been mashed. When I asked for salsa to put on my skillet I was greeted with a look of disgust… To make the experience worse when the bill was paid the lady working the counter ran my wife’s card twice and acted like she didn’t. After I approached the lady about what had happened there was no apology simply a dirty look like I had done something wrong by catching the mistake or for catching her trying to steal from is… Never will I ever go back to this Denny’s again!!!

I just came in to have breakfast with My parents and we were all very impressed with our waitress Lynne. She was amazing and so sweet. She got us our drinks very quick and took our order when we were ready. She made sure everything was going great. Thank You Lynne!!!

There are at least 3 Denny’s in Fairfield. 2 of them are closer to where I live than this one. What keeps me coming back to this one is the service. Everyone is super nice and they check on you regularly to make sure you are doing well. I actually come in to this Denny’s hoping Lynne will be my server. She is so sweet and she is a great server. This place is usually not very busy compared to the other Denny’s around town. I have never had to wait to be seated and I never have to wait long for my food.

This is a good dennys. Been coming here for 15 plus years. The service is really good. The food always comes out fast and hot. I usually get the biscuits not gravy with eggs and hash browns for $ 4 with a side of sausage links. My boyfriend gets the cinnamon pancakes breakfast or the grand slamwhich!

I’ve been coming to this Denny’s for a while now, never really spoke to management or anything like that. But I always get the same friendly service every time. LOCATION: I believe it’s in a really good location in this small Cordelia community. Next to a real cool«Fun Park» called Scandia, where you can play arcade games, mini golf, batting cages, go karts, and etc. it’s also located near tons of gas stations and a Starbucks coffee shop. FOOD: I mean cmon it’s Denny’s, it’s a corporate restaurant not a small café shop owned by a family. I don’t really go for the sausage or bacon from ANY Denny’s, but their pancakes are very delicious as well as their eggs and grits. They have a very cool menu with all different types of meals for many different prices for someone with even $ 2 $ 4 $ 6 or $ 8 in their pocket. SERVICE: As mentioned earlier their service at this Denny’s is always friendly. Seems like they had the same employees with a few new young faces working for experience. The manager has a nice handle on his employees, and it seems like a have a clear vision on how he wants his restaurant to be ran. I do recommend this Denny’s in Cordelia.

We all know what Denny’s food tastes like– pretty mediocre. So the questions come down to cleanliness, convince and service. This Denny’s is relatively clean and the restaurant is pretty large — so never really a long wait. The owner is very nice and makes his rounds asking how your breakfast tastes. The waitress’s have always been polite. Not a bad choice if you’re passing through the area.

I would give them 0 stars on this visit if not for a good omelette and the factvthat Da Kidd enjoyed his cheeseburger and apple dippers. Otherwise service was crap. Coffee came after meal, fries came after burger and sourdogh toast never came at all to eat with my meal. I had to refill my water with a water bottle i had in my purse. Told the manager that i didnt receive my toast, he gave me a «sorry ma’am «. We waited for to go boxes and my toast for over 10 minutes and ended up just walking out leaving the server no tip for her no service. She was too busy socializing and leaning on counters. Oh well, wont be back… not anytime soon.

Decent food for typical breakfast. Thanks to the waitress lady who work hard to earned her tips. She’s a older African American lady, really sweet and done her job professionally. I always appreciate to those who put efforts on what they do.

The air conditioner was broken so it was very warm in there. I hate to give the a terrible review for just that because everything else was fine.

Came here to get some quick breakfast and quick was not what they were. I ordered the $ 8 chicken fried steak with the grilled potatoes, the chicken was dry and not tasty at all. Plus the gravy that they had on it tasted like it was from the can. My girlfriend got the grand slam and was pretty decent, she didn’t like the taste of the sausage, she said it tasted as if they were microwaved and also the buttermilk pancakes were a huge let down. Not fluffy at all and just tasted horrible. Only thing positive was our waiter. She was very nice and helpful

6 Stars! Hands down — Best Denny’s experience I’ve ever had. The waitress was super nice, the service was fast and on point, and the food was great. What impressed me the most was that the owner was walking around to greet guests, ask how we’re doing and to thank us for being here. When’s the last time you saw an owner of a franchise walking around, let alone even in the restaurant. I’ve been to Denny’s in VA, FL, TN and CA and this is the best service I’ve had anywhere.

Filthy tables and booths. Food was so-so. Employees were discussing an issue with a stolen tip out in the dining room where everybody could hear.

I used to really love denny’s. It is my little girls favorite place. My local one has just lost my business of 6 years. Today my daughter wanted Denny’s so we drove to this one. Started off good. Then got our food… my oldest sandwich was burned, the coffee was cold the French fries where great on the outside and HORRIBLE on the inside. Then they sent our waitress home and we waited and waited for another. Then finally I called her over to get our needs met. Tell me how can my needs, as the PAYING customer, be met if you are walking away before I am even done speaking. This so so RUDE and HORRIBLE customer service. This is also one of the reasons i Ieft my regular Denny’s Looks like my family will need to like Hucklyberry’s or something else. I am tired of paying money for crappy food AND service!!!

The Food is what you expect from Denny’s, good American breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Our server Dawn was great. Have to give it a low score though because they don’t have the back lot lit at night. Dark and scary. My wife commented there would be no way she would stop if she was by herself.

This Denny’s can be a hit or miss when you arrive. I usually come here during the evenings so I am not sure of the flow of breakfast or lunch but I imagine it to be pretty crowded and packed since they are pretty smart about giving deals. The owner or manager seems to always be there! Poor guy lol. However he is very polite and I usually get seated right away. Now the servers can be a hit or miss. Sometimes you get the sweet and kind but slow servers or the quick ones that barely pay attention to you. That can be quite annoying. Food here is decent but nothing out of the ordinary. I do enjoy the bbq chicken, burgers and some of the breakfast items. Chicken fried steak is delicious! Also check out their meal deals. This local will have some on the table but not on each one so take the time to look around. Sometimes their deals are worth it. Like if you are a pancake lover, get the unlimited pancakes for $ 4? I think. I’ve gotten some of their unique desserts like their«Bacon» themed desserts. Odd but interestingly pretty good!

Two biscuits with gravy and sausage, and a side of hash browns for $ 2( )? Dang, I can’t even get something like this at McDonald’s for that price! For something costing two bucks, I was expecting either a dinky sized portion, or my potatoes to be covered with fuzz. But the portion was worth the money, and more importantly, the food was enjoyable! I really enjoyed the hash browns, so nice and crunchy, albeit a bit oily. And of course I munched off the familys’ plates as well. Turkey and avocado with melted cheese in a sandwich? Heck yes! The cream of broccoli soup was tasty and not too salty, and the chicken noodle soup really hit the spot. Our waitress was super nice and was really patient with this family of indecisive Chinese people. They also have some typical crane games here that actually give you a chance at winning! I got a duck on my first try( )!
