This place looks like it hasn’t been updated since 1992 and I love it. Reminds me of being a kid going to get pizza with my family. We go on the weekend and get the buffet for $ 10. Nothing fancy just pizza and salad but that’s fine by me.

Love their lunch buffet. I like their taco pizza the most. Salad bar is not much so eat all the pizzas. 11am to 2pm. Best way to find out your favorite pizza from here.

Ewww bad pizza bad service and they couldn’t restock their pizza to save their life — or customers for that matter! I’ll never go back! Don’t waste your money!

Horrible experience today. Should have been warned when no pizzas at the biggest except a few single slices. Salad bar a disaster. A simple request for a cheese pizza could not be met by this inadequate staff. Poor service. Poorly maintained facility. Tables dirty and wobbly. Repeated requests to apparently disengaged serving staff went unfulfilled. Manager could not be bothered to put pizza on buffet due to making dough for party tomorrow. Godfathers used to be great comfort for familiar surroundings and good food. This establishment needs an overhaul and complete replacement of staff. We left and went directly to Papa Murphys for the cheese pizza we requested an hour ago. We are home enjoying that while Godfathers struggles to bake a single pie. I only put a single star because I couldn’t post a zero star rating

I came here specifically to relive my childhood. Mission accomplished. The place hasn’t changed in 20 years. Everything is the exact same, even the games and salad bar. It also hasn’t been painted since the early 90’s. Its like walking back in time. The service was acceptable. My order was screwed up but the lady at the front counter was nice enough. You can only order over the phone they don’t have a website to order from which is beyond comprehension in 2015. The Pizza itself: I mentioned before they screwed up my order. I ordered 2 pizza’s with«Golden Crust» That’s suppose to be their deep dish. What I got has never happened to me before. I got a pizza that was ½ regular crust and ½ thin crust. I didn’t even think that was possible. Thinking back I should have taken a picture because I will never see it again. Its like when they were rolling out the dough the just gave up on ½. Obviously the pizza didn’t cook evenly. IT was toast on one side. The good size tasted pretty good. The second pizza we ordered was suppose to also be Golden Crust. Instead we got thin crust. But the pizza was acceptable. $ 32 for a large and medium 2 topping Pizza’s… that asinine for the low quality and lack of effort. I’m really just glad this place isn’t my local pizza place. I drove her specifically after finding it online and won’t be back. Such a disappointment to realize my childhood was a shame.

As residents of this great state, we should all be ashamed. We haven’t often enough given thanks at the great altar of Godfather’s, and now many of their locations have closed. Taco pizza is life.

Overall it was pretty good, great price and almost exactly how I remember it from 20 years ago(arcade games included). I got the buffet and loved every slice(prob recommend staying away from the salad bar). Would’ve done 5 stars if the dessert pizza was on point, but felt it was a lil weak. The crust and the size of the slices could be improved.

Two words, taco pizza. Who seriously does not love fresh lettuce and tomatoes on top of a fresh hand rolled pizza with taco sauce?! Nadine is a wonderful business owner who keeps the place cleanly and great for families and parties. A buffet you can’t go wrong at, even for the picky eater. Everyone should experience Godfathers pizza!

Who doesn’t have a pizza story? At some point in your childhood you and a special date shared a pizza hot out the oven and loved starts to pre-heat at 375 degrees you lean in for what possibly amounts to your 1st kiss. When I was a child and Godfathers came to town it was an event. You would see families dressed like they were dining out at a steak house. It was that serious. For the younger crowd, Godfathers was the introduction to deep dish pizza in the region 30 years ago. I’m sure someone was making a thick doughy crust out there, but Godfathers Pizza was so meaty and juicy and packed with flavor. It was an experience and flavor unlike any other. Over the next decade Godfathers grew faster than any other food chain locally and a personal favorite was the waterfront location near the current Big Wheel location. Somehow I thought a trip to this location would bring back all the warm feelings, joy and satisfaction I felt as a child. The rating was 3 out of 5 stars, which isn’t my normal standard, but the other local location was a single star. I won’t say I hated it, but I will say it wasn’t great and good would be generous as well. Disappointing experience and I don’t see myself returning or the location staying open much longer as there are just too many other choices for better food nearby.

We have always loved the Taco Pizza and Godfathers does it right. Unfortunately this is one of the last ones left in the State and it is showing its age. My wife and I have been eating Taco Pizza since the 60’s and will continue to visit them as long as they are left. Fortunately you can go on the company site and get a couple dollar off ticket pretty well all the time. It is not necessarily a «spic and span» clean place but a lot of that is due to the age. The grandkids usually get the all you can eat buffet and there is usually enough variety to please all of them — although the dessert pizza seems to go fast so when it comes up — everyone grabs some.

Haven’t been here in years and won’t be going back. Not very busy for a Saturday night and place seems very dated. I’d be surprised if it is remains open much longer. We opted for the buffet. I was hungry and it was edible but very unimpressive. Salad bar was ok, and became the main meal for us.

This is one of two Godfather’s locations left in the state of Washington. Both of them exist solely for the purpose of providing the incomparable and undeniably amazing creation that is most commonly known as the Taco Pizza. I will be totally honest and tell you that everything else about this place is about as mediocre as it gets, but that heavenly combination of spicy sauce, seasoned ground beef, and cheddar cheese topped with freshly chopped lettuce and tomato makes up for it in so many ways. Seriously, if you haven’t had a Godfather’s Taco Pizza, you need to go get one as soon as you possibly can. It will change your life forever. No kidding. Features and benefits of this restaurant location: Lunch and dinner buffets both of which feature taco pizza. Lots and lots of tables for placing lots and lots of taco pizza. Game room which is near the buffet that features taco pizza. To go boxes that can each hold a full sized taco pizza. A friendly staff that has the ability to make, serve, and/or deliver taco pizza. Taco Pizza.

I haven’t been to a Godfather’s in a long time, probably well before the location in Covington closed. I liked going there as a kid when the place was popular in the 80’s and 90’s, but it seems like the company has fallen behind the times. They don’t offer online ordering, the regular specialty prices are expensive and they don’t seem to have money for remodeling. That being said, the pizza is pretty good, and about how I remember it, although the crust needs some improvement. I used to get the Golden crust back in the day, but they don’t offer that in Jumbo size and since Groupon was running a Jumbo speciality for $ 14 offer, there wasn’t any other choice but Original. The place offers both a lunch and dinner buffet, which is likely keeping them afloat; I can’t really understand how it survives otherwise. If that’s what you’re looking for, dooo iiitttt!

If you are looking for 5 star go somewhere else. THATBEINGSAID, let me tell you, How could you possibly go wrong with all you can eat hot fresh pizza & salad? I am a very health conscious eater but when I feel like a cheat day THIS is my go-to joint. The place while in an older building is acceptable for an eatery. Not the fanciest restaurant but who the hell cares about that when you can have all you can eat pizza. I love the game area for the kids(and they do as well) they can play while we continue to hang out, talk, and eat more! The staff is friendly & will make the pizza you ask for when they refresh their buffet. I personally love that it is serve yourself. I worked in the restaurant industry for 15 years, it is quite refreshing to not have someone hovering over you while you eat. This place while not the fanciest or high class gives exactly what it promises. GREATPIZZA and an awesome salad buffet. Plain and simple. I LOVEGODFATHERS!!!

I have been a fan of Godfather’s for years. Unfortunately, they closed the ones near me, so when I get the urge I have a ways to travel. I do this for one thing, their sausage pizza. Don’t ask me why, but it happens a couple times a year. Normally I would order my pizza to go, but this time I wanted to hang out, relax and enjoy my pizza before the trek home. I figured the buffet would be the best way to go and asked for a sausage pizza. I ate a piece will I waited, only to have to ask how long till the pizza I asked about would come out. «We don’t take buffet requests,» was the response. Only Godfather’s I’ve ever been to that doesn’t take requests for the buffet, even basic ones(i.e just sausage). I’m not completely unreasonable(just slightly). I understand this policy and the need for it, even if this is the only Godfather’s I’ve ever been to that has adopted it. I just think I should have been told at the outset, I would have ordered the pizza I wanted instead of being stuck eating a buffet I had mo interest in. Oh well.

Items Ordered: Dinner Buffet Coupon 2 for 1 If Unilocal would allow a zero to negative star, I would easily be stamping this review with the worst possible rating. How the Public Health Department has missed this Federal Way joint is beyond me. The outside of the building alone should merit that this place be shut down. When you first walk in, there’s a very odd smell. It could be, because the place is very old or is it, because of possible mold? Had I not wanted to try this place out, my wife and I would not have walked within 10 feet of this place. So we proceed to the cashier who takes our order. As she reaches for the plastic cups, she accidentally drops like 4 – 5 of them, because they were stacked. She bends down to get them and then hands us one of them that had dropped on the floor. Really? So while she’s looking for a pen I quickly grab another cup and hand her the cup she handed me and said there was a spot in it. So we sit down. By sitting down, if the outside didn’t gross you out, the inside is much worst. Paint is not only peeling off the walls, the ceiling tiles are both missing and severely damaged from rain/moisture. Although this is not an excuse, paint is very expensive. Replacing ceiling tiles is not, especially if they’re plastic. Someone just does not care or they have a very low quality of standards. So my wife and I proceed to get the pizza. If you’re a fan of frozen pizza, then bon appetit. I’ve unfortunately tasted better frozen pizza from Safeway, so wherever they’re buying it they must literally be paying nothing. Otherwise, avoid. I ate a few slices, but with the horror of the building structure, being grossed out by the employee’s mishandling of my drink, and the not so good frozen pizza, I really could not wait to push the eject button. I know this place was very popular in the 80s and I even saw a lot of the vintage commercials on youtube. But there’s no way what my wife and I experienced the other is anyway near what they did in the 80s.

I have fond memories of the Godfather’s pizza buffet from my childhood. All the pizza you can eat! And dessert pizza! Too bad all of the Godfather’s in my area closed. Last weekend my friends and I decided to relive our childhoods and drive to the nearest Godfather’s which happens to be in … Federal Way. Quite a drive, but worth it for a walk down memory lane. Yes, the place looks like it’s straight out of the 90s. But let’s get to the pizza: cheap, good, and lots of it. For six dollars and change(for lunch) you get all you can eat salad bar and pizza buffet. Honestly, who cares about the salad bar? But the pizza tasted pretty darn good. And don’t forget the unlimited dessert pizza which I can say with certainty is the best thing ever. Just like I remember it.

My fiancé and I went for dinner here last night — talk about a blast from a gluttonous childhood past! :-) It had been at least 13 years since either of us had been to, or even seen, a Godfather’s. So imagine our surprise when we discovered our new home was just a few blocks from one of our favorite restaurants as kids. I know every restaurant in the chain is different, and frankly I was worried about being severely disappointed by this particular location. But as soon as we walked in the door it was a great experience. FANTASTIC price for the dinner buffet(only $ 6.99 per person), a clean salad bar with a plethora of tasty and healthy options, well-trained staff and delicious food with lots of pizza varieties. We will definitely be repeat customers! Our thanks to the owners and staff for keeping this little gem running so smoothly so that we, as a couple and future family, can enjoy a fun and nostalgic dinner from time to time.

I frequented this pizza chain as a college freshman(along with Bison Creek pizza in West Seattle, yum). Then something happened. They all but disappeared. I left Seattle, only to come back and the place I spent post-high school days lolling around prior to friday night pre-funcs, had closed! Look, I had dreams about their Italian sausage & black olive pizzas when I was gone. Then Pagliacci took it’s place as #1 –which I’m not really a fan of I must say. Something must have happened when CEO, William Theisen sold the GF brand to Pillsbury back in the 80s, because they skedaddled out of town faster than you can say, «Mafia Wars.» Now all their joints are located on the outskirts of civilization. Port Orchard, Tacoma, Federal Way, Auburn, and Shelton?! WTF? Geesh. What, did someone order a hit out on you or what GF? Is Pagliacci now the godfather of pizza? For shame. It’s time to regain your honor with capital, ‘V’. Dear GF, come back to Seattle. All is forgiven. No concrete shoes are waiting for you; Just decent folks who miss your deliciously abundant piles of goodness. Please don’t make me drive all the way to Tac-ompton, again!

I feel kind of embarrassed admitting this, but Godfather’s is pretty awesome. My boyfriend and I drove all the way from Seattle to Federal Way(the closest location to us) just so we could take part in the lunch buffet! This location is pretty dated. I mean, it looks exactly like I remember other Godfather’s to look like, without a single update in sight. The mini arcade is ancient, there are names and curse words carved into the wood tabletops… but somehow it works for this place. Prices were decent — it was about $ 15 bucks for the two of us to do the buffet, plus a soda. The main reason we went was for the GLORIOUS dessert pizza. Delicious and awesome. The regular pizza was surprisingly better than I remember. Not sure about the salad bar because I was saving my hunger for pizza, not lettuce. Overall, we had a lot of fun driving down here. And we’ll likely do it again!
