I like this place. The sushi options are OK but not wow. However, there’s a soup bar and variety of the other dishes are great options. Awesome options all around.

Decent selection of foods. For the most bang in the bucks Chinese buffet, I would suggest the Feast. The price is $ 22.99(without beverages) for dinner weekend and $ 12.99 for lunch before 3:30. There is really not much different between the items on the lunch and dinner. We got here one day at 2:50 and they asked us to pay for dinner. Their selection and variety of foods are nothing close to those of the Feast. We will probably never dine here again as there are a lot of better selections for Chinese buffets around the Seattle area.

Just ate there with my family, everything was alright. Nothing really wowed me, definitely not worth the price and there is a service charge to larger parties. The crab was really dry. The selection is not that big for hoe much they charge. But if you do eat there, the green tea ice cream is BOMB.

All of the food was cold. The service was okay. It was all just bleh. I gave it two stars because the food itself didn’t taste too bad. It would’ve been better if it was hot food.

Surprisingly, my family and I had a pleasant experience at this restaurant(despite some of the Unilocal ratings). Service was quick and attentive and overall, the selection of food was decent and quality wasn’t too bad. Pros: –Service: quickness. Table was always cleared and beverages were refilled promptly. –Food variety: overall, decent selection. Predominately Chinese food, standard seafood, different sushi varieties and a small dessert bar. –Parking: Ample parking all around since the restaurant is located in a plaza of other businesses. –Big parties: I was surprised at how accommodating the restaurant was in trying to seat my family of 12 together in the same general area with separate tables. Due to the layout of the place, I guess it’s hard to push tables together? Cons: –Food quality: so so. Given that it’s a buffet, it’s often a hit or miss with the food and overall, this place was average with no particular dish that was a major WOW factor. –Price: For around $ 27/person(Mother’s Day price), I had high expectation that the food will somehow match up to the price but sadly, it wasn’t. –Wait time: Given on any weekend, I was told by the staff that there are no reservations on the weekend and often, wait time will vary between 10−30+ min. Overall, this is a decent buffet place but definitely not worth the long drive down from Seattle.

I used to go this restaurant on weekend sometimes. But I had bad experiences one day. We waited for 20mins and we just tried to have first small dish but suddenly staff brought bill and note«finish in 10mins.» What the … It made us feeling bad so we couldn’t enjoy food at that time. service was bad. It was $ 22 per person. 3 people Wasted money of $ 70 including of tax.

Good food, interesting having country music at a Japanese Buffet but I liked it. Sushi wasn’t labeled so you didn’t know what it was.

Just so so and VERY expensive. I went here a few years ago and it was excellent. Last weekend it was below average. Food was just so so and luke warm at best. My mom got sick from it but I am not sure which item set her off. We went on a Saturday night and it was 21.99 $ a person.

When I go to Federal Way, I typically hit up Kim Kum Sang Korean BBQ. Looking for something new, I stopped to try this buffet. It’s very easy to find, as it’s located on the corner. There’s lots of available parking, and there were many people inside when I pulled up. The buffet itself has lots of variety, which I really enjoyed. Some of the dishes tasted previously frozen, but it was still good. The oysters were Fresh though, which is really what counts. Overall, they have everything from sashimi, vegetarian rolls and varied cooked dishes(steamed pork buns ftw!) to a better than usual dessert bar! I’m a BIG dessert person, and when I go to asian buffets, I’m limited to fresh fruit or bite-sized non-descript cake. THISPLACEHASSCOOP-YOUR-OWNGREENTEAICECREAM. Plus other flavors, but I still died from happiness a bit. As others have said, it is quite loud, so be mindful of that when you go. Because you should go. Right now.

So my girlfriend and I came here unaware of their insanely high weekend price. We thought we were getting their weekday lunch price which is $ 13 a person, and even at that price the food isn’t worth it. Like other reviewers before me the food is over cooked and lacking in flavor. The variety is good, but that’s the only positive. So $ 50 dollars later for two people at lunch, it’s not remotely worth it, and we won’t be returning.

This is a fun, loud and rowdy place. Don’t go here on a date or anything intimate where you’d have to hear one another. The buffet is huge with all the choices you could possibly want. Aside from the chocolate fountain, however, their desserts are the usual, cheap-looking fare that you see at every Asian buffet. Unfortunately, the set up of the buffet is terrible. There is no space between the various food bars to move. Add in the jostling crowd of people who are only focused on getting to the whatever before everyone else and it turns into a brawl. Oh, and then there are the kids. God forbid you get a table on the side with the dessert bar. There are usually half a dozen unattended children running back and forth loading up on sugar at any given time, all screaming and yelling. Having said that, it really is a great place to hold a birthday party or some other event. You will eat too much, and you’ll love it.

Despite the higher price on the weekend, we usually come every once and again on the weekend and enjoy it very much! There’s such a variety of seafood — different preparations of fish, crawdads, clams, mussels, frog legs and usually 2 – 3 different types of crab. The restaurant has a Mongolian grill area where they make stir-fry dishes and soup with your choice of vegetables and various styles of noodles. The sushi area is amazing and everything is always fresh because there are 2 guys constantly managing the sushi and grill area. If you have friends/family with you that are not much into seafood, there is a station with prime-rib, grilled kielbasa-style sausage and ham. The salad bar is always fresh and the fruit is perfectly ripe and ready for devouring. Personal Suggestion: You MUST try the coconut chicken, the fried flounder, the sushi roll with the shrimp on top and the eel sushi. Oh my grubbin-ness! So delicious. Those are my go-tos when eating there along with salad, stir-fried broccoli and fruit. Don’t forget to order a pot of tea for the table as well. Should you have to wait for a table, the wait will be well worth it! Bön appetit!!!

Let me start by saying most buffets scare me, but this one was clean and I saw fresh food constantly coming out. They have a TONS of options. Sushi, Japanese dishes, Chinese dishes, and American food. I was able to find numerous things I liked here, and lots of healthy items. I should mention that the coconut chicken here is awesome.

When they first opened they were the best! Best crab Rangoon I EVER had! That was 2011. Went there in 2014 with my husband when I was 9 months pregnant. No crab Rangoon =[ the udon station is a plus. Like that they have a tad bit of American food there. It’s not really a Japanese buffet though it’s more of a Chinese buffet. The only thing Japanese were the noodles and variety of sushi which is a hit and miss. Overall a 3. I would recommend if you love Chinese food.

The variety is pretty good for a «Japanese» buffet. The only thing Japanese here is the udon and sushi/sashimi which is really the focus of the buffet. There is a smaller line of hot dishes with fish, coconut chicken, BBQ ribs and frog legs just to name a few. They have random offerings such as roast beef(there is some A-1 and horseradish near by), «U.S. Sausage» aka kielbasa, Mongolian grill station, chocolate fountain, and a scoop your self ice cream freezer which has strawberry, chocolate, vanilla, and green tea flavors. I often get the seafood soup, has green onions, tiny shrimp, imitation crab, corn, egg white stirred into the mix. I like some of the sushi offerings, I always start out with the deep fried shrimp, some of the seafood soup, some noodles, and rice. This place gets pretty busy at any time you go. I’ve been here during the week at dinner time, lunch and dinner on a weekend. The waiters serve you drinks and clear your tables. Kinda hard to flag them down sometimes as they are constantly clearing tables, seating other guests, etc. I mean, it’s not bad, but not the best. We keep coming back for the variety.

Came in here for lunch. I had a horrible experience here. The food to me is below average. The food wells are not properly contained which is over cooking the food. The buffet experience was a disaster since most of the food pan were empty and dried. They were not making enough sushi and their sushi pans were left empty. Food selection were not great. The chairs and booth felt like I was sitting on a wood. It was so uncomfortable. The grill was left unattended. Its not an authentic japanese restaurant. Not coming back here again.

We showed up and didn’t realize that weekend lunch was 21.99 each. A bit more than we wanted to spend but we were there. the selection was ok. i could have seen more veggies. I didn’t eat any sushi as I’ve avoiding white rice lately. the kiddo and I mostly ate some spring rolls, noodles, fried rice and I had some of the snow crab(since we were paying for crab lunch prices). Dessert line was good, a little fruit and the ice cream was tasty. Beverages weren’t included. overall an underwhelming experience, like most buffets usually are. Overall cleanliness was okay, not great. There seemed to be alot of employees either outside smoking, eating at small tables or standing around.

I’m sorry but this is not my type of Japanese buffet. Everyone has their own taste bud. If you have tried AAA buffet or super buffet, think about here again. There are only certain food choice that are good to get. I’ve tried most of the sushi, SOME were good. I really can’t believe how many reviews are good for this buffet. The workers are nice, food not so good. $ 25.99NOTWORTHIT. Very disappointed.

All the food here tasteless. We came in hungry and ate here last night last night and I can’t recall eating anything that I would like to eat again. It’s food. That’s it. That’s the most you could say about Mika’s fair. It’s not memorable. It’s not interesting. It’s not flavorful. It’s not even alright. It’s meh. We tried sushi, sashimi, prime rib, crab legs, frog legs, bbq ribs, oysters, octopus, grilled mackerel, chicken wings, pork buns, sugar donuts, various desserts. Absolutely nothing stood out. I did not come here to get a plate of orange chicken and rice or a bowl of udon for ~$ 20. This place is not worth your time let alone money. The existence of this place does not make any sense.

As buffets go this was a good choice. Japanese buffet Friday night. Choices were plentiful. Most items looked and tasted good. Desserts were standard Asian buffet desserts… though they had a cool looking chocolate fountain. Carving station had prime rib and sausage. Main run of hot food had crab, Manila clams, incredibly small crawfish :-(, hard to peel head in shrimp that was over cooked and flavorless, mussels and a bunch of other things. Sushi though plentiful, really just seemed like the same stuff out together differently. A bit of variety would have been nice. Salads, oysters and other cold offering were good. The line of deep fried stuff had flavorless shrimp, delicious pork buns, a variety of soups, spring rolls and fries Beverages are extra…2 people 1 soft drink and out $ 50. A bit steep in my opinion.(Weekend pricing) Service was great. real Asians kept the table cleared and water glass full.
