This place used to be great a few years back. Now the staff is rude and kind of pushy. I had something on my plate I didn’t particularly like, and when my waitress came by she asked if we were done with our plates. We said yes and she looked at mine and said«finish» and just stared. I said no, I didn’t like it and she said it again. Very rude. And the food selection is kind of okay. But it’s cold sometimes. It’s gone down hill big time.

First walking in, ordering felt like an interrogation. They were not friendly at all. The food was cold, and there wasn’t much to choose from that wasn’t a seafood dish. The meat for the Mongolian looked like it was discolored from sitting out too long. This is a place that should be shut down by the health department.

I’d give zero stars if I could. Food was terrible. The service was very friendly, but the food. not so much

Once again, this restaurant has delivered amazing food! I made a quick stop for dinner with my boyfriend and we were seated quickly. The food was hot and they seemed to have expanded their menu! I saw some items on the buffet that I didn’t see here last time. I also indulged in the desserts, just like before. The vanilla ice cream hit the spot :) I love coming here for my Chinese food cravings, and I recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a quick stop for awesome Chinese food!

Since this is a buffet you get my cliff notes version instead of my more extensive food review. Anyway of all of the Chinese/Japanese buffets that I’ve tried this is my favourite. The scallops are my personal favourite of everything they have. They put such great spice on it and they cook them well which is important for scallops. Other favourites of mine include their crab rangoon, sweet and sour chicken and their pepper chicken. Although it’s not my thing my kids rave about their sushi. There are a lot of things to choose from and most of the things I’ve tried are really good. The staff is friendly as well.

I can’t decide the worst part about our meal. Whether it was the 8 year old working the register who couldn’t add up our bill the buffet if empty trays left unfilled. The disgusting state of the serving utensils; the dried gum on the walls or the ¼ inch of raw sewage on the bathroom floor but we will never go back here. This place should be shut down.

Great hibachi. Perhaps best in Florence area. Choice of standard and marinated items. Huge selection of buffet dishes too, including signature meals.

Good as Chinese buffets go. $ 10 for dinner including drink. Good deal. Ice cream, donuts, BBQ grill, sushi, Mongolian grill. Great variety especially if u have little ones.

The food here was delicious, from the chicken with broccoli to the soups and fresh sushi bar(a personal favorite). They also prepare fresh stir fry for you while you wait. The fruit bar is solid and I’ll usually finish my meal with some desserts and pastries. The value is certainly there. The lunch all you can eat buffet is priced the same as a lunch entrée anywhere else you go.

So I guess u could I was jazzed up for checking this place out because of the great review’s… I crossed 12 lanes of traffic 2 times and walked .66 a mile from my hotel to come here…(played frogger almost died) this place was Disney land without Micky’s castle. total disappointment… from the start. know one was in the front to greet me. but a server eating food at another table close by the hostess stand waving. totally unprofessional. the food was cold. end of of story… dumplings were a breezy poor excuse for something that looks like dumplings. Even the noodles were like rubber. items were not«freshen up.» and it looked like everything had been stitting there for quite a while… I thought 8:03 pm would be just at the brim for going to a buffet that closes at 930 night.(, never want to go with in an hour of close) however when I got there. there was a sign that says kitchen closes at 830… FAIL… k should of turned away. I know the rules. heck I invented them… 3 years at culinary college and a fond desire for epic amounts of Chinese food u learn what the look out for and how to predict good food… The only remotely satisfying thing of the evening came when one of the cooks brought out a fresh tray of crab ragoons… only to be shattered by my first bite of distain… nasty filling. almost soupy… it Cum out like freshmen year of college when I didn’t know what I was doing… I could of made better blindfolded befor I went to chef school… I’m sitting here trying to honestly think of one good thing I ate tonight that I would want to even touch again… maybe the water? I hope this was due to the fact I came towards the end of the night… Now I have to walk back disappointed… What a waste of calories on sub-par food… Bad form

My solid choice for a ‘go-to’ Chinese buffet. Fresh Sushi Rolls: Check. Crab Ragoons: Check Dumplings: Check Fried Shrimp: Check Won Ton Soup: Check The Hibachi Grill is awesome, lots of choices, and the entrees are certainly 3 – 4 star. For the price, it is an exceptional deal. And as far as service goes, I am not sure what the negative reviewers are expecting. It is a Buffet. Here’s a glass, here’s your booth, go get what you want.

If you’ve ever been to these places you understand what you’re getting yourself into. Lots of choices with hardly mediocre food. I have been to a handful in different cities and they’re all about the same. You walk out the door stuffed to the gills & feeling like you should vomit. If you have a sense of humor you will find entertainment in watching some patrons almost eat themselves to unconsciousness. As they waddle for the door they look as if they need a difibulator to shock them back to life so they can stuff down a couple more bites of orange chicken.

My boyfriend and I have stopped to eat here before and read the reviews before going in. After seeing all the negative comments we decided to go elsewhere. Today however we chose to say the heck with it and come on in… And we are SO glad we did!!! It was amazing! All the food is fresh, staff is friendly and also very clean. Will definitely be going back!

I visit Firebowl at least once a month, and have since it opened. It’s a buffet, and like all buffets, if you go at off-times, you might not have as good of an experience as others. If you see a good amount of cars in the parking lot, you should stop in! Their price is the same as the other buffets in the area, and it offers a lot more than those. I will mention some of my favorites: Frog Legs, Crawfish, Sushi, Grill(not hibachi but their other grill items like ribs and amazing sauced pork). I always get servings of these things when I go. They have a lot of popular Chinese dishes, and I think they are just as good as the other buffets around here. I don’t usually get the hibachi, but I have a few times, and it was also good. Their sushi is the best around here aside from going to an actual sushi restaurant. As for the service, it can be lacking. but it’s a buffet, c’mon people. Almost everyone there isn’t fluent in English, and so they don’t speak much, but when you arrive, usually someone will seat you and get your first order of drinks. The fountains are right where the food is, so it isn’t like getting a refill yourself is out of the question. I know of two of the waitresses that go out of their way to get you refills and check fairly often, but I don’t depend on them. The lady that I get the vibe is the owner is very friendly. If you like going to buffets and having TONS of options to pick from, this is the place. I really recommend trying the grill items and sushi(if it is busy and you can tell it is fresh). On that note, I’ve actually bothered to ask the grill chef to get the sushi chef out to make me fresh sushi, and they have always done so. so don’t be afraid to ask!

I have given firebowl an extra star in hopes that it will improve. Every buffet seems to run its course and hit a point where they just become not so good anymore, and I feel that firebowl has hit this point in its life. The only real thing it has going for it is the wonderful hibachi/grill station. Everything else has degraded past even the level of mediocrity. I’m saddened and disappointed. I saw a server drop food on the dirty outside area if the bar and then put it back in with the rest. The sushi chef was playing with her hair before making sushi… It’s not what it used to be here.

I took my son to this buffet thinking it may offer something amazing, but we were sadly disappointed. The staff are very rude and as soon as you pay at the entrance you are given cups and shooed off. There is no service as everything is self-sevice, including beverages, yet the price is much too high for the quality of food. The buffet had the typical offerings but I found most of the food to be overly greasy and lacking. The hibachi grill line was so long that you would likely spend more time waiting for that food than you would like. Overall, this gets a solid two chopsticks down. If you want a good buffet with hibachi and sushi, go to Empire Buffet off Buttermilk Pike exit, much better and price is better, not to mention amazing service.

I Wrote a horrible review when it was Dynasty Buffet, gave it a one star, if they were lucky. I told myself I would never go back there again. My friend Steve told me that there is new owners and the place got remodeled, i did not want too, since last last bad experience I had. I finally gave in. I was very surprised. First of all, we pulled up to the restaurant. The sign I feel looked a little tacky and cheesy. The name also looked and sounds horrible. So we go in I was very surprised. They remolded the inside new booths, instead of the old light colored tan blue seats and booths from the old old Sizzlers. They even replaced the center island light, with blue sky lights. All the chairs and tables were replaced with new interior. To my opinion again, I was so surprised. First thing, I thought it was a little strange, we had to pay up front before we ate, I guess when it was Dynasty buffet the food was so horrible, people puked and dash, not paying the bill… if it was up to me I wouldn’t either. To the buffet meal. I would highly recommend them to cook or grill your food. It taste fresher and not so dry. I am not really big in the sushi buffet. I get really really leary about buffet sushi. So I personally asked the cook, to slice me some fresh tuna sushi, it was not bad. I really enjoyed the dumpling with sauce. Fish was not bad also. Overall I am giving this place and average 3 stars. I would come back for lunch buffet $ 6.99 next time, if your looking for somewhere cheap.

Fairly good chinese buffet/hibachi grill. Upbeat, clean and busy place. For vegetarians, they could use some help. No vegetable delight or Mei Fun on buffet. There were vegetarian spring rolls but they were not as light and crispy as other places have had them. The hibachi bar did have a good assortment of vegetables but no tofu or other vegetarian protein. In all, a good place, but a little weak on vegetarian options.

The Firebowl Grill just opened and is in the old Dynasty Buffet building. I suspect they kept a lot of the inside the same, but the food was really great for the price. We had our Christmas dinner here and for just under $ 10(including a drink), we got to wreak havoc on a four-sided buffet that had everything from pizza to soup to Chinese fried foods to the typical General Tao’s and Hong Kong steak. The buffet food was good and fresh. What really made me like this place though was the hibachi and BBQ grills. There’s a separate buffet of raw foods that you can pile high and then have grilled hibachi or BBQ style. You get to choose your sauces and can even add fresh garlic. Yum! When I get a craving for cheap Chinese food, this is definitely the place I’ll be visiting.
