Closed??? !!!A travesty for lovers of great food and service. I was just leaving the house to go there. Craving. Only discovered this hidden gem in April while renting a car on the same street. Had NO idea it was there and glad I let my curiosity and my appetite guide me over. I only was fortunate enough to have dined there twice-two items– the keg burger(pork belly and beef blend) with its lovely jalapeño jam countering the juicy fattiness of the meat and muenster cheese. And the wow presentation of the cross cut romaine. And on another lucky occasion, the Cobb Salad with its satisfying twist on the classic– a fried egg chopped up instead of the standard hard boiled and generously laced with pickled onions and a light bright(champagne?) vinaigrette. Both times friendly and good of service and they actually had decent wines, by the glass. So unfortunate that it may be closed for good? Perhaps the hidden location too hidden? Or maybe just closed for Memorial Day? Worth an investigation!

Hands down the worst place we have ever been to in south Florida. 15 minutes after ordering the app we had to ask where it was. The chips were so stale. 30 min after that the main course finally came but the fries were so stale and my bfs burger completely fell apart. He normally eats his entire meal but didn’t make it past two bites. Also, draft beer wasn’t very cold. STAYAWAY. GROSS.

Sadiki + Luz on a Thursday night = the bomb. No better place to be out in Fort Lauderdale outside the crowd and business of Las Olas/downtown. Dive bar ambiance with class for sure. Oh yeah, you can leave with trying a pickle back shot with Jameson, ask for it or you won’t get the full experience. Cheers.

We came here with a Groupon on a Sunday. The service was great but the atmosphere was off. I think we just came at the wrong time. The menu is rather small and mostly thought to accompany beer etc. My chicken sandwich was good($ 11) but it had too much bread vs. chicken. The slaw and the sundried tomatoes gave it a good kick. My husband said that his turkey burger was a bit bland. Granted we came with a groupon and about 5 other people were in the place, yet we were not asked once to have our waters refilled. We also were not offered any dessert menu. I am not sure, if they were short on staff — it certainly appeared that way. Prices are under $ 15 for each main dish and appetizers are $ 6 – 9. Not bad in that respect at all — just not my cup of tea.

Kind of a cool little bar. Went on a Friday night and it was a little dead but I imagine it draws a good crowd at times. Food was good… Beers were good… Go during happy hour 5−7pm. Looks like they have good deals.

I really like this place — look, just to set the stage honestly, it’s not large(70 seats?) and the offering is mostly straightforward pub — but the people completely make the place. Luce and Sadiki man the bar — and they are such genuinely cool and engaging people, I felt like I was talking to years-long friends. The signature burger, curried cauliflower and wings with a twist(lime in the hot sauce?) were all really good! If you like beer, there’s a very good draft list(lots of crafts) and I even found a decent wine to swill. They have lots of HH offerings seven days a week and on weekends supposedly it gets crowded enough that they break out cornhole games on the patio. A cool vibe place that feels like a comfortable neighborhood joint. Try it out.

What a awesome little treasure hidden down here. Been here numerous times and have never been disappointed. Great selection of craft beers, small creative and flavorful menu and top notch service all come together to make for a great experience. I was looking for something a little different one day on my way home from the beach. The requirements where Beer, good food and not mainstream. So of course I go to Unilocal to find an answer and what pops up but The Keg on 6th. This place is not very big. It has a small bar with seating for about ten. There is probably seating for another 40 or so inside and another dozen outside. From the outside this place looks old. Not in a bad way but a local neighborhood bar type way. It’s got character, A kind of comfortable Iv’e been here for a while and I’m not going anywhere type feel. Once inside that feeling kind of stays. Clean, comfortable and a cheerful greeting from behind the bar I feel like I have been coming here for years. Sitting at the bar I have a choice of up to 26 craft beers and a large selection of bottled ones. Also served is wine, sake and just recently added a full liqueur bar. As for the food selection it is small but packed with flavor and originality. I have tried most everything on the menu and quite a few daily specials. All were delicious but several deserve special mention. The wings, all burgers and fish plates are all top notch. Cooked perfect, packed with flavor and plated wonderfully. Any one is a great choice but must tries are the Pork Belly sliders, The Keg Burger, Spinach Goat Cheese Salad and any daily special. If you are feeling a craving for something different try the Keg Pickles or the Curried Cauliflower. Both are not what you would imagine and both are surprisingly delicious. Mmmm, my mouth is watering as I sit here thinking about them. This place never seems to get very busy, so needless to say it is never very noisy inside. This fact is a double edge sword. On the positive is you never have to wait for a seat and service is always attentive and fast. The concerning is I like this place and I want them to make it. So If I have not convinced you to try this place I guess I will take it upon myself to visit often enough to keep them in business until you do. This place is awesome and well worth checking out. Especially on the weekends when all the other nearby popular places have hour long waiting times. Come here, no wait for a seat, no crazy crowds, great service and incredible food. Enjoy this place now before the preppy crowd discovers it. For now Cheers.

This place is great. They have a large selection of beers. I ordered the pork belly samiches, which were really delish. They came with fresh cut fries. They have music playing and tvs to watch a game or so. Adam was my server/bartender. If youre close to fort lauderdale airport or picking someone up there, i recommend coming here for a few drinks and a bite. They also have an outdoor seating area. Hidden gem

Craft beer gastropubs are around every corner. With that being said keg on 6th doesn’t really carve out anything special for me to warrant a return visit. Groupon brought us here for round 1. The place itself is hard to find. Your as close to the airport as you can get without getting frisked by TSA. It’s tiny and from the outside seems a little sketchy. Inside is dark and graffiti covers most of the walls. The beer menu is on chalk on the wall and hard to read. Their selection was large mostly usual beers you see at most local joints. Maybe about 4 drafts that were from the southeast fl region. We got the bacon machango croquettes app. It was three croquettes plated with a guava type sauce. It was tasty. Neither of us really saw anything on the menu that we wanted to each for dinner so we left to go somewhere else. In my opinion it’s like a tap 42/rokburger/publichouse reject. An fraction of the beers and a ho-hum menu.

After a quick, first impression check in tip, which was more negative than positive, I’m flipping it around after grubbin’ here. Had to deduct one star for the initial experience and lack of customer service. To start, OFCOURSE, they were out of the Bacon Manchego Croquettes– which I’m sure are great since they sold out earlier. Friday’s it’s usually pretty busy– but I went with the Shallow Grave porter(got to try before buy, always nice), the Juicy Lucy turkey patty with the fixins’ that usually come on the Keg Burger(AMAZING little custom combo), then a Vanilla Cream Ale to top it off. My GF ordered the Mahi Burrito which she said was good(definitely filling/flavorful) but not crazy about it, and the Keg Fries(big hit, lightly salted, fresh cut– delicious) with a side of the onion/chive/mayo-type sauce recommended by our server, as well as the UFO Ginger beer(YUM). After we got the attention we were seeking for about 10 – 15 minutes when first taking a seat, we appreciated the service we received and the quality of the food and we will definitely be back many times in the future.

I love beers and I am always in the search for new gastropubs. Using Unilocal!as a searching tool, we found this place. Its not easy to find because they did not have a visible sigh on the street large enough to get my attention. Thankfully my wife was with me so it saved me time from driving up and down the street. Again, we sat at the bar area as we normally do, and the very first thing that caught my attention was the large selection of craft beers on draft. I have a few particular craft beers that I like, but there were a few on tap which Ive not seen before. Luckily our bartender was extremely helpful. He gave us a few suggestions and gave us a few sample to taste. The menu at this place is very simple. Just a few appetizers and entrees to choose from. We decided to go with our favorite port belly sliders. The flavor was pretty good, but the pork was a bit dry to my likings. Overall we like this place. The place was nice and clean. Service was pretty good and there are still a few drafts I am looking forward to try on our next visit!

Great new place! Awesome beer selection especially if you are into craft beers. Heard about this place from a family friend. Very easy to get to located next to the airport right off of 595. Not a huge place so you may have to wait. Food was good I ordered the spinach, strawberry and goat cheese salad but they put oranges on it instead of strawberries so I thought that was weird. My husband ordered the keg burger and he said it was delicious tons of flavor. They do have a good happy hour before 7:00 so try to make it for that!

Always like to give the new kid on the block a shot, and so I arrived on a Saturday night. Grabbed a seat at the bar, and watched the Wisconsin Badgers second-round March Madness game, or at least the first half. Ordered a burger and fries, and a beer. I thought the food was pretty good. The bartenders were friendly and helpful. I’m sure I’ll return at some point with a more thorough review.

After dining elsewhere with some friends, and running into other friends where we were, we all decided to head down to The Keg on 6th to further our evening. One of the girls in the group had heard good things and so had I, so the decision was made for this to be our after party. She was looking for a new craft beer spot after her other two places had gotten too busy and were no longer enjoyable. We arrived at about 10pm on a Friday night. There was one large group of people — probably 15 or so at a table watching the Heat game, packed tables outside and a half full bar. Definitely not an empty place, but not overly crowded. There was ample parking for us as well. First up, this is off the beaten path. Not a bad location though, you’ll feel safe parking your car and you’ll definitely feel like you’ve found a secret spot not many people know about(yet?). The inside layout was nice and the bathrooms were very clean. We had already eaten so we took seats at the bar to make beer selections. The menu changes frequently, and kegs do run out, but we were all happy with our choices. There are other alcohol options here, but we stuck with beer. Someone in the group ordered sake shots. Since we didn’t have dessert I opted to try the bread pudding — it took a while to come out, but it tasted great — so no complaints. I did see a lot of burgers coming out of the kitchen and they all looked great. The menu itself was eclectic enough to impress me, and the specials written on the board had me regretting the fact that we had already eaten. The staff was friendly enough, started out pleasant and then I started to get some unfriendly vibes, but maybe they were just tired. The was a sign advertising Sunday brunch — I didn’t get much details when I asked but it does apparently start at 8am. Long story short… I’ll be back, soon!
