This pizza is amazingly delicious. I really wanted some good pizza and found this in a google search. The woman I spoke with on the phone was very kind and polite. My pizza was freshly made and I was able to pick it up in 30 minutes. When I picked it up, it was nice and hot. The restaurant itself smelled wonderful with all of the delicious food and it was buzzing with customers on a Thursday night! I had a 10 inch pizza with ricotta and pepperoni on it. The woman at the restaurant promptly attended to me and was also very kind. I appreciated how she carefully confirmed my order both at the time that I called and at the time of pick-up. Anyone who likes excellent pizza should be giving their business to this place. Quality food with quality staff. This place gets 5 stars from me.

I thought we had found a pizza place to be loyal to. The pizza and food are good. We would routinely order on Saturdays and I would order a sub to keep in the fridge to eat Sunday night. As a creature of habit and routine I would order basically the same thing and order it the same way. My request was always filled with a smile. Today I called up and someone I’ve not spoken to answered and I explained how I wanted my sub and she said hold on. She came back on the line and said she spoke to her boss and was told they couldn’t accommodate my request. I told her they always did in the past but she remained silent. I said to just make my pizzas then. When I got there the young lady I normally speak to said hey how’s it going and I explained what happened and she said hold on and went to talk to the owner I guess. She came back, never mentioned anything about our conversation took my payment for the pizzas and that was that. We got the pizzas and left. No sorry for the trouble, no sorry for any misunderstanding(if there was one I wasn’t told of it). No nothing. I guess loyalty doesn’t mean anything these days. I would have liked to know what changed their minds all of a sudden. Loyal customer lost to the competition.

Went there for lunch and called ahead because I only get a half hour lunch picked up my pie and antipasto, had my family meet me and was told we could not eat in the establishment because we called ahead, we weren’t taking any tables from anyone there was only one other person at a table and one man waiting on an order so there where multiple open tables and we were still denied having a seat and eating our pizza and antipasto… will never go there again. VERY disrespectful employees and owner. Terrible service.

Picked up a cheese pie this week and was very impressed. Hard to find a good New York Style pizza in SW Florida, but conditions have improved. The Pizza D-LUX crust was quite good, and had just the right amount of tangy sauce, and quality cheese. Pleasant service and convenient location. Only fours stars this time due to «take out crust». Next pizza will be eaten onsite.

Moved from Madison, WI to Fl last summer and have tried quite a few pizza places. Pizza D-Lux is one of my favorite places so far! And their garlic knots are awesome! Please make sure if you are taking a pizza to go that you check the pizza box for black char. Twice I have put the box on my seat to find black char all over my seat and I have light color fabric seats. I have also had it on my clothes. When calling to let them know they didn’t seem to care which upset me. I had to purchase special fabric cleaner to get the char off my seats.

The food is alright, but the service is awful if you special order. The cost is a bit pricey for what you get.

My husband and I found this place on Unilocal.Lucky for us it’s only about a mile from where we are staying. My husband couldn’t get home fast enough to drop off the groceries after I read him reviews and said«we’re going there for lunch». He loves a great New York style pizza. We were not disappointed with the deluxe pizza. It was delicious. I can’t wait to go back and try their white pie! You don’t have to order a whole pie, you can order by the slice.

«2 plains please!» It feels so good to say that. A little bit of home in a land so far away. Looks and feels like a pizzeria from the tri-state. Pros: — Thin crust, the right amount of cheese and sauce. — Comes out piping hot. — The best part is you can get slices! I can’t stress this enough. Who has time to sit and eat a whole pie at lunch time? Sadly, I can but that is not the point. — Giants fans! Cons: — they close early(8 pm most nights) Also noticed a lot of people eat their pizza with a knife and a fork — very weird to me.

One of the best New York Style pizza you can find in Fort Myers area. There is a place in downtown but if you anywhere near Daniels or I-75, this place is worth trying. The owners are originally from new york. They dont carry chicken. Plain pizza slices are thin and greasy. The restaraunt is clean and has a nice ambience.

Been a customer since they were at their old location in Estero. Best New York-style pizza in the area. Can’t comment on service in-house as we never dine-in, but the owners/staff are friendly and professional. Wait times can be long on Friday and Saturday nights; especially in season, but I have never waited more than an hour.

It is Authentic, New York/New Jersey Pizza! The owner painstakingly makes EVERY pizza, assuring it is properly baked in their deck oven, NOT those conveyor belt Chain Pizza«ovens»! Baking is a science, & assembling pizza with just the right amount of sauce, cheeses & toppings is a science! The amount of toppings & the deck oven combined with the right temperature and the careful eyrs of the pizza baker determines how properly your Pizza will bake! New York/New Jersey(boardwalk!) style pizzerias have baking pies down to 100 years —(as well as the OLDER Italian Pizzaiolas) –of Proven Baking Perfection! Why thin crust and why the perfect necessary layout of ingredients –aka toppings — ??? Are you a pizza lover who Lives in the Cape? Notice how your local, «The more cheese the better«attitudes of Cape Coral pizzerias NEVERBAKE a proper, thoroughly hot, non-slipping Pizza??? In my 20 years in the Cape, I can honestly say I NEVER had a good pizza from a mom n pop.& I NEVER eat chains’ pizza. in the Cape! ! The toppings AND Cheeses ‚(we only add 2 toppings plus normal cheese!) ALWAYS slide off the gummy, gooey, under-baked dough from ALL of the local Mom & Pop owned Pizza joints– EXCEPT3 places!: Mama Leone’s– originally making pizza on the Jersey Shore Boardwalk!!- is still open for great homemade«take & bake» entrees;, homemade fresh Sausages, cold deli meats, cheeses, sangweechiz, etc, plus sauces, soups, & grocery items BUT she only sells pizza until 6 pm! The BESTNY pizzas INTHECAPEWERE Sluggers & Rosies, BOTHSADLY closed for reasons unknown! But the poorly made & baked Pizzas are NOT Mom & Pops’ faults! CUSTOMERDEMANDS’ of insane quantities of pizza toppings. PLUS the influx of TOOMANY Cursed Chains, offering BOGO’s — «buy one get one free!” — and cursed COUPON$– resulted in PiZZA PRICEWARS! The Moms & Pops jumped onto price wars, first by «only nickels & dimes less than full price coupon deals» a real scam, since the«deals«were ONLY pennies LESS than another Mom & Pop’s coupon deals! THEN with«deals» matching or honoring Chain deals, then the more toppinga you want,.whatever YOU wanted– they caved into Customer Demands and ruined their own pizza quality! «Gimme more junk on my pizza!!! I don’t care if it doesn’t cook right, & slides off the gummy raw dough! Pile the toppings on… BUT don’t charge me more than…$ 8.95!!» Huh? FINALLY! New York style pizza! Tried this restaurant tonight based on a friend’s recommendation. From the moment we walked in we were greeted and placed our to go order(2 pizzas and a meatball parm sub). It was rather crowded and seating is limited so we waited outside. When our food was ready the young lady that took our order was sweet enough to bring it outside to us. She even took the initiative to give me some extra sauce for my sub because she knew I was going to eat one of the pizzas tonight and save the sub for tomorrow. The pizza was the best I’ve had since moving to Florida over 10 years ago. I can’t wait till tomorrow to eat the sub!

It’s pizza. It’s like every other pizza place. Delicious and doesn’t try to be fancy. That alone is a good thing. The service itself wasn’t good though. They charged for carbonated water. They charge extra for marinera sauce among other BUT if you just want pizza without the good service come here

This is great pizza! Probably best around if you like NY style– have to fold pizza to keep the juices from the sauce from dripping down fingers! Love that– the only reason for a four star rating is the price and the size of the place– very small, hot and I think a little too pricy– better for take out!

This is one of best discovery we had in Fort Myers. Put it mildly, this is the best place for thin crust and crispy New York style pizza. We normally have our pizza at D-Lux but tonight we have it carry out. Another highly recommended item is the meatball parmesan. They must make the meatball with breadcrumb and egg. It has a wonderful texture as you bite the meatball. Staff and owner are super friendly. Amazing, this is fast becoming my favorite Pizza place!

Yummy, excellent, NY style pies(pizza) — what a treat! These guys used to be over on Alico Road and they were closed for a while — but thankfully it was because they were relocating … And much closer to me – so Hallelujah! Friendly owners, great pizza — low key atmosphere. Love this place. You people living off of Daniels Parkway have no idea what a treat you have in your neighborhood… I drive all the way from NW Cape. Well worth it.
