We are often in Fort Wayne and would eat at Salvatori’s every time if possible. Love the sausage roll, calzones and the cinnamon roll is amazing. Service is wonderful and the time it takes to get your food is worth every minute. Like that they take reservations. So worth our 3 hr drive to eat there!

One of the best places for Italian food around. Their Alfredo sauce is amazing. I always order a dish with it. Their portions are very big. Good food and a good price.

My wife and have tried this place a couples times thus far. The staff is friendly and the wait time is typical for most restaurants. The food is good, not great, but better than the chain Italian places.

In a few words… big portions and a lo of condiments/sauces. Very far from authentic Italian(trust me I am Italian) and very heavy on your stomach. I went back only because it was a birthday party. A lot of locals like it though… maybe it’s my personal taste…

Service has always been friendly and attentive. Atmosphere cozy. Food is ok but not stellar, even though friends declare it best in town. Main problem is cold food. Still go with friends but never our first choice.

Love the food here, the service is great and they have the most amazing martini drink with fresh basil in it! I get cravings for that yummy drink!

Great Italian food and price. Air conditioning has been broken for months… restaurant was over 81 degrees on 12÷26÷15!!! Very uncomfortable dining experience, couldn’t wait to leave and get some fresh air. I would recommend pick up or call ahead to see if the owner has fixed the situation. Unfortunately we won’t be back until that happens.

We come here often and the food is always great. Staff is always friendly and prompt. Not a martini bar so if you like martinis it’s hit and miss depending on the bartender. Also, don’t try to order off the menu, it doesn’t happen very often even for simple requests. All in all a great place to go and reasonable prices.

Absolutely amazing food. Huge portions. The cinnamon roll is also amazing, definitely a must try. Giving a 4 only because our server kept forgetting to refill our drinks. They were very busy but that should not have been looked over.

Went there last night for dinner with 8 people. The service was okay for 8 though some in our party complained about waiting for meals to arrive. I felt okay with the timing. The servers were all very nice and attentive. Atmosphere was italiany and cozy. My sister got the side of potatoes which oddly came out with the salads. They had a good flavor but half the bowl was cold and the other half hot. Someone must have forgot to stir them. I got the full order of the spaghetti supreme and it was delicious. My qualm is about the onions in the dish. I put onions in my spaghetti but I normally cook them down. The red onions in this dish were raw red onions. It was a travesty to the dish because the rest of it was pretty good. Contrary to the opinion of my cable guy, I was able to finish the whole order with room for dessert. My dad got a sandwich that he raved about but I cannot for the life of me remember what it was, but I know it had deli meat on it and cheese and was toasted. We got the cinnamon roll for dessert and it was excellent but you have to order it ahead of time. It was warm and gooey and exploding with cinnamon/sugar goodness. I would still go back to salvatoris, tho if I got the same dish I would ask them to soften up the onions. I really only got it to take on the challenge of eating all of it from a heavy set cable guy. I heard no other complaints from the 7 others with me and they have a lot on their menu. Definitely worth checking out!

Been here several times. Food is always very good. Calzone dough is almost like a biscuit. It sounds strange but taste good. Servers are always on top of it. Food usually takes a while to get, but I assume that is because they make the food to order.

After reading a lot of the reviews of this place, I had very high expectations. And I have to say, Salvatori’s exceeded all of them! The atmosphere, service, and, of course, the food were all absolutely fantastic. The Abruzzo All Meat calzone is wonderful for any carnivore-at-heart. I would absolutely recommend Salvatori’s, and I plan on eating here again!

Salvatoris has recently surpassed Fort Wayne’s beloved Casa as the best Italian food for the price in the city. I typically dine at the Illinois Rd location and my food always comes piping hot with friendly, prompt service. Its a pretty basic menu with all standard Italian dishes… Im a huge fan of lasagna as they have an excellent tasting gravy. The Bread sticks are a super tasty appetizer that come with choice of two dipping sauces. Wish they had a better beer selection.

What’s??? No minestrone or tomato basil soup?! Was looking forward forward to ia hot bowl of soup so was very disappointed. The only soup they serve is their wedding soup. That’s the reason they got 4 stars. Their service is prompt and friendly and the food is one of the best in town.

Custom calzone was delicious and so was our pasta. Could not be happier! A must visit if you are in the area and love Italian food. Went with my boyfriend and sat at the bar area and the waitress was great. Authentic food and a great atmosphere.

I was in town for a conference. Ate here with a co-worker. Had Fresh Bruschetta, Chicken Parmigiana and a bottle of wine for dinner. It was clean in taste and the finish wonderful. The only negative I have is that my co-worker ordered stuffed peppers and noticed that the plate came out hot along with the food, which in her experience means that the whole plate was heated, not just the food. She didn’t mind the taste but that did bug her experience.

Second trip was much of the same. This time I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. Decent. We also had the cinnamon roll for dessert — it was alright. This place is a 3 star Italian joint and about on par with the Olive Garden with better atmosphere… but don’t go in search of fine Italian dining. Update! Try the Spaghetti Parmesan… Awesome!

This place has the best Italian food in town! Everything I’ve gotten is amazing. I recommend the ultimate baked spaghetti and the ultimate calzone. My wife hates Italian food but loves it here. Their sauce is so good and their staff is friendly. I recommend it!
