My very sweet boyfriend and I came in Valentine’s Day morning to start our day with some tasty oysters! They did have two different types of oysters gulf and northwestern. The gulf were huge and at a dollar each great value! The northwestern were tiny and not very flavorful, at $ 2 each I was left very underwhelmed and disappointed. They were served with horseradish and cocktail sauce. The cocktail sauce was like nothing I’ve ever had before. Very chunky and peppery, overall I liked it. Usually I like my oysters served with a marionette vinaigrette. The indoor seating area of the restaurant was absolutely tiny! I can see this place getting packed very fast. We are big fans of the dives sister establishments. I’m sure we will be back soon to try more items on the menu!

We had heard a lot of good things about food so we were in luck to get a table as it is very small on Valentines Weekend. I ordered the Oysters Rockefeller and they were above average and with a price of $ 8 will definitely order again. I had the Blackened Red Fish with Crayfish étouffée and it was good but for $ 18 I thought the portion was extremely small portion but it had a great flavor. I did not particularly care for the hush puppies and honestly just a little dry and not really all that spicy and not crisp so I don’t know if they are always that way hopefully not. overall the Poor Boys looked great and there are several things I would like to try so I will be back.

We had the Oyster sample platter which had 5 of their most popular oysters, and they were all yummy! The favs were the Bloody Mary and the Kamikaze Oysters. Also had the grilled Oysters and boiled shrimp and they were both delicious! This is a small place, and it was packed, but the service was great. If you have room, you must get the key lime pie — sooo tasty! Will definitely be back!

Amazing food for a good price. Got a dozen gulf oysters for $ 1 each. Then we both got the fried oyster basket which had the best cornbread I have ever had in my life. All of the sauces are made here in house. Last we shared the best key lime pie slice ever made! The crust was perfect combination with the thick creamy pie. Will definitely be back soon.

I only have them one star because I had to. We had the worst service and the worst food of all time. I sincerely hope management sees this and reimburses me for the awful experience. Yes they charged me for a meal I didn’t eat

Food was fair, not much flavor. We had fish and chips, shrimp poboy, and grilled oysters. Waitresses did not have the best attitude. Slightly overpriced for what you get.

Roc-A-Fella Oysters were good Shrimp Poboy with kimchi was good but very different. Heat up the bread thoroughly next time please. Other than that, I’ll definitely be back.

First time here and the staff are very friendly and the place is very clean! Gave me a sample of the gumbo, not your traditional gumbo. The chef put his twist on it and it’s tasty, loaded with seafood. I had the shrimp and fry lunch combo, very good. I will be back because everything she brought out looked great! They have oysters!(blue point, James river, and gulf) Can’t wait to go back.

I had just come to Ft Worth to visit my Mom and she wanted a salad with some shrimp like she would get back in Louisiana. I tried the Dive, not knowing it had just opened. I got her the grilled shrimp and salad and I had the catfish filets. This was the best fish I ever had in a restaurant! The batter was seasoned perfectly. The cocktail sauce and tarter sauce had to be homemade. It was excellent! The grilled shrimp was also great and the salad dressing had to be homemade as well! I’ll have to go back and try the pie!

I was really excited to hear of a new seafood/Cajun restaurant in the area so we went for dinner a few nights after they opened. Very disappointing. I love a good gumbo but the Andouille flavor in theirs was so completely overwhelming that I couldn’t even enjoy the other dishes. The fried shrimp dish was probably good(I couldn’t tell). My wife ordered a shrimp po’ boy and was equally disappointed. Again, they overwhelm the taste of the po’ boy with kimchi and aioli which make the entire sandwich too spicy and salty to enjoy. It would be nice if they would offer some options, like leaving the kimchi and aioli off. We really wanted to like this place. Perhaps we’ll go back one more time and see if our impressions are any different but we would not order the same things again.
