White Castle

Slow service even though there was plenty of workers. Worst part they gave me some cheese sliders that obviously had been sitting a while. Sliders aren’t suppose to be crunchy. They were busy talking about how many of them have been written up. Maybe wouldn’t have got written up if they raised their game. By far the worst in the area.

It’s a fast food joint, so don’t go into this expecting something fancy.
With that said, the burgers are delightful. The fries, are not that great, very basic.
I feel it is something that needs to be tried. I was satisfied with my time there. I really do not have any complaints.

It’s White Castle! What can you say? It’s not great, but it is a unique food group on its own. This location is clean, the people working are friendly and the little burgers taste exactly as I remember. Loved it.

My first visit to a White Castle burger restaurant. It was OK. They don’t have these restaurants on the west coast. I ordered the #1 Slider Combo. It came with crinkle cut fries and a drink. The burgers (sliders) and buns were rectangular. The buns were steamed. The burgers were fairly light and tasty, not greasy. Better than McDonalds hamburgers. Customer service was friendly. However, they packed my order to go, even though I told them I would be dining in.

So I’m from the west coast and everyone is always talking about how good this place is. I don’t know about other locations but this place is really dirty. All the tables had crumbs and what not and the floor literally had dirt on it. It wasn’t busy at all and instead of the workers cleaning up the place they were just standing there with boredom on their face. The food was alright but nothing id waste my time going to eat again. I wouldn’t recommend it more than McDonalds

If I’m in the area I will stop at this White Castle. Number they get it right. Your order comes as you placed it. The restaurant is clean and free of any odd smells. This seems to be a hang out of the local cabbies so your weirdness experience may vary.

Living in the west coast you never get the opportunity to try white castle. So as you would think I was one excited dude when I finally got the chance to and to say the least I was soooooooooooo disappointed! they taste like the stuff you can get in the frozen isles of a grocery store quite honestly. I’d rather be having mcdonalds than to go back to white castle!

The sliders are classic in their own right, but get a couple with jalapeño cheese and prepare yourself for quite a kick! Clean dining area, friendly service – the guy who took my order was actually smiling. Most places have only ketchup/​mustard and you typically have to ask for them, but all WC’s I’ve been to have BBQ, brown mustard, tartar sauce, mayo, and a few others including their own HOT SAUCE! IN PACKETS! I usually ‘borrow’ a dozen or so for those emergency situations when I need hot sauce at work or in the car. Major props to them.
Whilst eating here once, I discovered the greatest thing ever: dunk their buffalo-​flavored chicken rings in ranch, and dip the ranch-​flavored rings in buffalo sauce. Eat both simultaneously, and I’m pretty sure you can time travel.
5 stars, no doubt about it. And there’s two locations near where I work!

I usually do not write about a White Castle, unless the service is great. And this location knows how to take care of the customer. Stopped in today (drive thru) to get something to snack on while riding around. Even though there was only two cars in front of me, the wait was extremely long. I did happen see the car in front of me total order of $ 29 on the screen, I knew there would be a wait. The wait for both cars n front of me seemed to take forever, but the window girl came back to the back window and took my money and gave me my order. The good thing is that she apologized for the wait and gave me a larger drink than ordered and apologized again. Now this is customer service.

I have no idea why people like this place, it was nasty!

The service here is always great. Ever hear of service with a smile, well it must be a requirement here. They are always friendly and seem genuinely happy with their jobs.
They’ve never messed up an order and hubby always get his with no pickle. The food is fresh and the fries piping hot. If you have a late night slider craving, this the the Castle to go to.

This is by far the worse service of all White castles and that is saying alot.

It may be just because I’m in love with White Castle. Harold and Kumar goes to White Castle. And Grape Soda. But who cares?
My first stop into my hometown steered my in the way of the beloved White Castle. An unassuming quiet location, friendly, genuine and they’ve got some real service with a smile.
I think of Frumpy the Clown cartoons when my happy thoughts float adrift to the cloud of soft meat patties, grilled onions and jalapeño jack cheddar. Mmmmmm…
The staff here are quite the friendly bunch and they seem honestly happy to be at a job which entails asking, «fries and a drink with that?» More power to them then.

My favorite White Castle location in all of Chicagoland.
They never mess up my order as I’m yelling it incoherently in their drive-​thru during early morning hours. They always live up to the «fast» in the «fast food» label, even with a crowded drive-​thru.
While I don’t expect fast food employees to be the happiest people on earth, the employees at this particular location are generally decent, in that they don’t advertise their hatred toward their job by giving you an unpleasant attitude & experience. I heart White Castle in FP!
