We went to the drive-thru on last Friday night. The wait was extremely long and there were only two cars in front of us. The problem is that once you get in the drive thru lane, you are committed. The is no way out! So 15−20minutes later(no exaggeration), the employee takes my order. She cuts me off several times to chat with someone inside. I know this, because her mic was not muted. She would then come back and resume my order only to have it wrong and ask me to repeat over and over and OVER! I finish my order and the employee goes back to chatting with someone else. Out of frustration, my wife blows the horn and the employee returns. Some guy also working there hollers out, «Don’t blow your horn!» We put him in check and I ask the lady to repeat my order. She replied that she did already. SHEDIDN’T! Remember, mic was on the whole time as I could hear her sidebar conversations. She then repeats the order, inaccurately in fact, with attitude. There was no way in heck, we were going to eat anything prepared by them after that! So once we had an open lane, we exited the premises and headed to McDonalds. There will not be a repeat visit.

Very dirty. Four letter words and F bombs throughout my lunch. Loud staff, shouting, laughing, and cussing. Cussing even about the customer at the window. Cooking alarms went off all the time and often not turned off by the staff. One very loud alarm was beeping for OVER a minute — yes, I timed it because it was so annoying. Are there any area supervisors that check on these locations? If you go here with your family, please take earplugs for the kids. This was disgusting…

I like it because I can;t get it in the midwest, and I remember ignoring it all the time out on the west coast. So… yeah. This particular location is actually staffed by the some of the slowest people I’ve ever encountered. After waking up and realizing there were customers waiting, a couple«employees» shuffled over to the register and mumbled for a bit. Then we had to wait 15 minutes for food, in spite of the place being empty. Damn, they must be hard up for help in this town.

Jack in the box is probably my favorite fast food joint, or at least it ties with Sonic. The menu is more imaginative than most fast food and the quality is good.

I always buy the same thing – the tacos. They are usually, like, 2 for a dollar, and if you buy a bag of them on a road trip, you can munch them all day, because they are even better cold. And by cold I mean the bag has been sitting on the floorboard of the car since lunch. Yea, they are probably bad for you(ha), but you only live once, and you might as well live.

Being that i’m originally from Michigan and the fact that I now reside in Illinois, there is still NO Jack-In-The-Box in either state. After many miles for a mini-road trip, I was able to revisit this place after consuming it vaguely in my past. Talk about the ‘hype’. I believe I has a steak and cheese meal but boy-o-boy was it CHEESY! It was good, don’t get me wrong, but it was too cheesy. For a fact, if I were to consume this ENTIRE sandwich, I would have been grossed out. It was that cheesy. Yes, it was good at first when my mouth was watering and I couldn’t bare it anymore. but it became too much for me. I don’t know what I ate here years ago, but I don’t think i’m that big of a fan anymore. Got the cheese fries for the girl and it was WEAK! The cheese was barely touching! You would think that if they could load their steak and cheese sandwich with absurd amounts of cheese that they could have put more on the fries. Being a big ‘cheese fry’ fan, I was highly disappointed. Their seasoned fries weren’t ‘all that’ either but their regular fries were good. Who would have thought that the ones with more«stuff» to it wasn’t good as a regular fry. All in all, it was just a ‘hype’. Would I make my way out here if I lived closer? Probably once in a while, but not to the point where I would place it on the top of my list.
