This place is really good with great customer service. They make your sushi rolls to your liking. Friendly chefs. They beer is also cold to perfection.

Everything was very horrible from the service to the food. I came here twice, before today mishap happened. Before was ok but today was one of the worst restaurant experience I ever had. I am so angry with the service as well as awful the food was. First off, the service was horrible, my party and I waited one hour just to receive our first round of order. After that, the two other orders took longer! Everything was so slow. I understand that there are other customers as well but these servers are here to work and to be quick and fast so customers can be satisfy with there needs. There were so many other customers who were waiting as well. When they food came out all of the appetizers came out cold and they did not look fresh at all. The orders were all mixed up we got things we did not even order as well as some of our orders missing. Servers were giving us attitude and food was cold. Servers did not even looked friendly or apologize for the wait. Even told us that they know what we order and every order was there but again orders were wrong. The sushi was alright but everything else was horrible. This place did not even feel homey and inviting. It was really cold. Everyone in my party as well as me all agree this was one of the worst restaurant dining experience they ever had. I would not advise anyone or tell any of my friends to go eat there! Services was horrible as well as the food! And the wait is super long! I would never suggest anyone to go there and this is my last time going there.

Jesus. This place made me so sad. I remember coming here around 10 years ago and it was decent. But today was one of the worst meals I have ever had. The inside is just plain filthy. Not filthy in a good way like it’s some sort of cool dive or shady street cart that sells delicious questionable meats. Filthy as in everything is covered in about 2 months of dust. I don’t even know how to put into words how incredibly bad my meal was. The rolls are almost entirely rice, and it isn’t sushi rice. It was straight up regular steamed rice. Still hot and everything. The filling inside of them was also warmer than room temperature and tasted just awful. The miso soup tasted like soap and was cold. The salad was just a huge chunk of iceberg lettuce covered in sugar water. The tempura was barely battered, dripping with water and under cooked. I considered not leaving a bad review because the people seemed so nice at first. But then the ladies eating behind us complained that their all you can eat order was put in half an hour ago, so they hadn’t eaten all you can eat. In fact, they had eaten nothing. After that. We had a large black hair rolled into one of the rolls. The sushi chef who wasn’t wearing anything on his head and wasn’t washing his hands between touching things seemed pretty suspect. We brought it to the woman’s attention expecting at least an «I’m sorry» or «Let me make you a new shitty roll with less hair» or «Yup, that is a hair». But instead she looked me right in the eye and told me it was saran wrap from the preparation. I looked at her, then back at the hair, then to the uncovered head of the sushi chef, then back to her as she just smiled with a big shitty grin. She straight up lied to my face. And it wasn’t even a good lie. Say it’s from a hairy crab. Tell me it’s a special baby seal whisker that she plucked herself. But don’t tell me saran wrap looks like an overgrown pube. She could have jumped on the table and started howling like a howler monkey while throwing poop at customers, and as long as she didn’t look me in the eye and call it busing the table, I would have been slightly less pissed off.

I came for the $ 12 all you can eat sushi. It is all you can eat until 2:30 pm. They stop taking orders for all you can eat at 1:30. However they accomadated us until 10 til 2. Helen was our server and she was amazing. Very nice. Answered our questions about japan in total kindness. My water never went low. They sushi vhefs came out and made sure everything was ok. Service was great and the sushi rolls were also great. Recomend this place to all for a variety of sushi at a good price.

The food was SOBAD I could barely eat it. The service was ok, but the actual quality of the fish was horrible. It was mushy and tasted old. The fried food was so greasy and there was so much batter that it was raw and mushy inside. It was like an episode of kitchen nightmares. I will never ever go back. The all you can eat special was really cheap, but they load the rolls with rice, which I was ok with since the quality of the fish was so bad. The restaurant looked unclean. Duck tape on the ground, old dirty tables. Worst meal I’ve had in years.

I have not ever had a bad experience at a restaurant until today. We had ordered off the buffet menu and was told our order would not be brought to us all at once. We noticed that we did not get everything that we ordered, so when we confronted the gentleman making the sushi he was very aggressive and rude towards us. he said he made our order and only gave us three of each(mind you they are suppose to come in 6 – 8) which in fact he did not. my husband is Japanese and knows what was ordered. After i told him again that we did not receive what we ordered he raised his voice towards me and said that he would make us more that we would be charged extra for each. This is the worst service i have EVER had and have never had anyone speak to me the way this man did ever in my life. i do not recommend for ANYONE to eat here.

I am being generous with the one star. All you can eat sushi is really all you can eat rice garnished specs of fish. Service was mediocre. I KIDYOUNOT, this was the worst sushi experience ever. I am writing this review still hungry from my all you can eat lunch. Not happy.

Really poor service and the quality of sushi was far from impressive. I made the decision to go here vs a more expensive sushi bar. Simply put you, as always you get what you pay for. Really recommend finding someplace else and trusting reviews.

I’ve been coming to Sendai for years. It’s priced perfectly for the food you get. Service is always great and the vibe is good. Haters gunna hate. I love Sendai. Never too busy and always quite. Keep up the good work Sendai Sushi!

I’m only giving it two stars because it’s a lot of sushi for 12.95 for the buffet. The quality is horrible all the rolls taste exactly the same there’s a lot of rice and not that much fish there’s the same disgusting dressing like mayonnaise on the top of each roll. We only got half of what we ordered brought to us and none of them were the right rolls. The service was okay but terse. For people who don’t know their sushi and are not picky like some teenagers or maybe high school or college students trying to save a buck it is fine. But if you want quality sushi don’t come here

I came here to have the buffet. I will say that it was good. The rolls had a lot of rice. However, it is hard to complain when the price is so affordable. Service and décor were both good. I would come back again and order off the menu to see if are any different than the ones I had at the buffet. All in all a great way to sample a variety of rolls for a great price.

Today was my first and last time here. I saw the Unilocal reviews but went anyway because my friend really had to have sushi. This place has an overpriced buffet, first of all, and second… the food is not fresh and the service is mediocre. I will never eat here again. The edamame was cold and salty, sushi rolls had mushy rice, the tuna just tasted wrong and so did the baked mussels. The only decent food was the potstickers, which they probably bought premade from Costco. Zero stars if I could.

I’m sitting here waiting for round 2 of my all you can eat dinner. Not only did we have to walk our cards to the front but it’s not been 30+ min waiting for our food, the waitresses refuse to look in our direction not to mention our drinks are all empty and nothing. Our round 1 rolls were all wrong, they brought the wrong food, missed rolls ordered and basically said oh sorry but refused to bring the right stuff. My party of 8 is about ready to walk out. I will never return to this place and suggest you all save your money and go somewhere else!!!

During my meal here tonight I did something I haven’t done before; I looked up reviews on Unilocal to see if people had as bad an experience as I was having. Unsurprisingly, I wasn’t alone in how I felt. The food was average at best. The sushi was C-, the edamame was old and shriveled, and on top of that, it was about 20 minute waits for each serving. The sushi rolls consisted of 75% rice and they couldn’t have cut the fish more paper thin. That wasn’t even close to the worst part though. Worse than anything the service was offensive. It was as if my waitress didn’t want me in her presence and on top of that hated her job. I haven’t felt more unwelcome at a restaurant in my whole life. It wasn’t just me though, I noticed every waitress in there treated their guests like that. No smile, not even any dialogue. I am shocked they get repeat guests. FYI, don’t waste your hard earned money here. Go a few miles up the road to Ooi at Clovis and Herndon, they are what Sendai Sushi dreams of being. Ooi absolutely embarrasses this embarrassment of a sushi restaurant. Bye bye Sendai Sushi.

Love the All-You-Can-Eat Sushi Buffet. I usually get the 49er Roll(topped with raw salmon and lemon slices), which is delicious. Other rolls to try are the different veggie rolls(asparagus roll, mushroom roll, etc.) and the A’s Roll, which has scallops and a yummy yellow sauce on top. The lobster roll is rich, and it has more rice than meat, but I was expecting that with such an expensive meat on a cheap menu. Try the roll with seaweed salad on top, or their YUMMY green tea ice cream, which has a smooth texture and rich taste. …And all this, plus baked mussels, seaweed salad, and edamame for $ 15.95! Great value, delicious food! Large variety. By the way, I’ve never waited over an hour for a roll or had rude service. You may have trouble communicating with one waitress with a thick accent, but that’s about it.

Literally just finished eating here. I remember eating here many years ago and the quality and price were superb. Now however, very poor quality but price is alright. I had the all you can eat lunch which is 15.99 on the weekend and that’s a great price. The rolls hardly resembled the rolls they served on the past. Even worse is the owner was the man who made my rolls. I know he is the owner because on a previous visit about five years ago he shared this with my brother and i. He definitely does not look as happy as he once was. Maybe it was a bad day? I orders 6 rolls. What I got was really five rolls and of those 5 I could of made another roll completely made of rice and seaweed as these rolls had entirely too much rice. So basically I only got 4 mediocre rolls as I can assure you I never ordered a rice roll. I put all the extra rice aside because I wanted to let them know this was unacceptable. I showed the sever who I think is the owners wife and to my astonishment she said in broken English, «all you can eat for one person only 15.99.» As to say you get what you pay for? It gets worse… Not only were the rolls pathetic, but I never received one of the rolls I ordered. To save them the embarrassment of serving me another rice roll I got up and went to pay. While paying I asked the lady what happened to this place. I said the rolls has way too much rice and then I shared with her that I never got my volcano roll. She basically put the blame on the chef as she said it depends on what chef you get and she then tells me she will make sure I get my volcano roll on my next visit. Well… THEREWON’T BE A NEXTVISIT! sorry to see this place and these owners attitudes take such a depressing dive.
