Bad on so many levels. Went inside… no one in line, no one at the counter, 3 tables filled in the restaurant. I asked the man who helped me if the bkfst menu was still good since it was after 1pm. He didn’t seem to understand my question. I asked again in a different way and still no cigar. He just walked away and got some older women from the back to go up and talk to me. She gave me the ‘just a minute’ signal because her mouth was full as she was eating. Nice. Okay, I ask her and she understands. They DO serve bkfst sandwiches, but I changed my mind and ended up getting a chicken salad on an everything bagel; also ½ dozen sliced bagels. When she checked me out at the register I told her the man who helped me obviously did not understand English well and I didn’t appreciate his just walking away from me. Her response was in broken English, «How could he work here if he no have English»? Uhm, well I don’t know, that would be a good question for the hiring manager. I could tell she was mad at me after letting her know the person assisting me could not communicate. I love that we are a diverse country, but we have to be able to communicate. If you cannot speak English, then maybe you shouldn’t be greeting customers at a front counter. The woman handed me my bag of bagels and told me to wait on my sandwich. The girl who made my sandwich on the line held onto my bag while I waited as she had a personal conversation with her co-worker, laughing and standing around until she turned around and saw that I was waiting on it. I’d give ‘no stars’ for service, but Unilocal doesn’t allow. Okay, let’s talk food — I’ve been to other Einsteins before and had great bagels. These were flat… oooooh, so flat, in fact, they almost looked like thick bread. Also — I asked for sliced bagels, and every one of those things was only cut about 80% thru, so that I had to take a knife and slice them all myself at home. My chicken sandwich was SO runny, such that juice was just dripping out of my sandwich and falling out like water. It was the ‘runniest’ chicken salad I have ever had. I can’t think of one good thing to say about this place and will never return.

service is poor… drive thru takes over 15 minutes. I have been to this particular location 3 times and each time I leave disappointed. Not only were they rude, the lady handled my food and money with the same gloves she was wearing. NOTGOOD. will not go back there again. I will find another location even if I have to drive farther to get to one.

Went back yesterday and the same young woman who bungled our last order did it again. Somethings never change.

spent several hours and many calls between the catering team and the location itself to make sure our request to have the muffins and pastries cut in half and wrapped individually. I was assured this was not a problem at all, well needless to say that did not happen at all and furthermore our order was 45 minutes late the people at the location were very rude and did not seem to care one bit we arrived early for our designated delivery time only to wait for 45 minutes for delivery. I will never use this company again for any catering needs, in fact I did not want to use this location due to it’s poor ratings but was assured they would be able to accommodate our request and they were the only location that could deliver to us. It is very unfortunate and disappointing.

Who is running this place? Customer service is horrible. No wait terrible. No even better non existent. Sorry… No, I am not sorry. First, if you are going to sneeze in your arm, sneeze in your arm not out into thin air. I did ask for the gentleman to wash his arm and he complied. Thank you. Second, How many in a bakers’ dozen? 1. 2… 3… 4… 13. Yes that’s right 13 not 12 but 13 not 11 but 13. Okay you get the point. I am teaching a class on bagel counting please bring your abacus. Okay whew. I got my bagels now time to check out. Good morning sir, how are you? Did you get everything you need, you sure got a nice selection of bagels. What do you think of my bagel smile«o», Nothing, nada, nil. I love alliteration. Third, Look the bagels are great so that’s why you get 2 star rating out of 13 or is it 5. This store needs people who are chatty, well caffeinated, and most of all cheerful in the morning! This is my second experience where the staff were unpleasant and unconscious to the undetermined consumer, me. If you read this review, you are wicked smaht.

Not sure why this store have low reviews. I came here for Saturday morning breakfast. The bagel here were fresh and the service was good and fast, and the place was clean. And All you can drink coffee! A easy 4 star.

They keep the place very clean, move quickly and appear to keep a happy and proud staff. My food was ready before I was done paying! It is refreshing to visit a restaurant that is being run with high standards.

I was so impressed with how quickly the drive thru line moved when there was a long line of cars. Cashier was friendly. Our blueberry and plain bagel with strawberry cream cheese were yummy. Favorite place for cream cheese.

Wanted to see what all the fuss was about. Had a gift card as well. Walked in and the place is clean and nice. The bagels we got were fresh and tasty. The drive through was packed even for a mid morning. So I can see why there are times when customer service is lacking. Good food and the only thing of its kind around you get busy. If you can’t handle busy try going at less busy times like I did. Yes I still gave only 4 stars. Charge that to cultural differences. I agree that Texas needs to stay a friendly say Hi Y’all place

Hadn’t been here in a while but with a 10K looming this weekend, decided to give it another shot. Got two bagels, both toasted with plain lite cream cheese, a pretzel and a potato. Ordering was pretty painless, pay down at the far register. After less than a 10-minute wait, got my food and I was off. Bagels had good flavor as did cream cheese. If you live in Frisco and want a bagel, this is about your only option. I’d advise fellow Friscans to steer clear of this place on the weekends as it’s crazy. It seems like there has been an inordinate amount of staff turnover here as well but had no complaints about today’s experience.

TERRIBLECUSTOMERSERVICE! First off I love this place, I get the same thing every time(spinach applewood panini) so I went to this one bc it was close to my work. The first time the people were rude the line was long and the employees are condescending and rude. I went back hoping that they had an off day and it was even worse. I love einsteins bagels but this place is run terribly. Go somewhere else.

While the bagels and other breakfast items are always a good choice for breakfast the service is never a good experience. The handful of times that I have been there I have never been greeted with a smile or thanked for my service. It just seems like everyone who’s working there would rather be working somewhere else and that’s enough for me to probably never go back there.

I’ve never had such poor service in an Einstein Bros Bagel restaurant! Thank goodness I know it is only this location. There were two selections of bagels we requested in a box of bagels — potato and cinnamon sugar. The young man selecting the bagels abruptly told me there weren’t any. I asked if they no longer made them or if they were out for the day. He rudely said they were out for the day. We also asked for them toasted. When we received them, they weren’t toasted, so we asked again and the woman cashier truly behaved as if we were inconveniencing her to ask. After we sat down, we noticed that they had both potato & cinnamon sugar bagels. To his credit — when I pointed this out he offered to give us some extra bagels. However, I’d already started eating the ones that had been toasted already. The bagels are if good quality. The service, not so much. Hopefully, the poor service will improve in the near future. Before we left the restaurant the young man came to us to apologize for our unfortunate interactions. Positive conflict resolution is an important part of good customer service and we appreciated his initiative and maturity. The previous comments will remain, however, I will upgrade the rating from one to three stars

These guys need to learn how to take an order first. Customer service is so poor. He listens and will work on something else and it is pathetic. Do not visit this store.

The food here is «ok» but the service is absolutely horrible. We started going here years ago and it was very nice. The service then was extremely good. Some new owners took over and it went downhill fast. The owner has a lot of his own family working there so no one seems to really care if they get fired. They consistently mess up your order and the most you get is a shoulder shrug and a smirk. They now also charge for EVERYTHING! Want some jelly with your bagel and cream cheese? That .60 cents a pat of jelly! When I explained to the person behind the counter I thought that was a bit absurd his response was«so what». Needless to say I will be going to other locations or bagel shops from now one. They really need to work on cleanliness there as well. The bathrooms are filthy and the tables are rarely wiped down.

There REALLY should be a 0 star rating. This location deserves it. I have NEVER been treated so poorly as I have at this location — on 2 occassions now. The food is Einstein’s, so one should decide if it’s worth the rudeness and slow service, but I will never go here again. Kroger bagels shall be my sub if I can’t make it to another EB location — where I’ve been happy with food ANDSERVICE from Austin to Dallas many times. If I were writing from a computer with a keyboard, I would share more details of the HORRIBLE and RUDE service I got, but my mobile device will save you from some of it. The short version: the woman opening passed me at the front door as I waited for them to open(bringing food for a meeting 30 min drive away for which I could not be late, hence my waiting at 515 am). When she finally returned to open LATE5 min, she walked past the door I stood at without so much as a hello, and opened the other front door across the store. When she opened both front doors SLOWLY I was already waiting at the counter for her. She walked past me without any acknowledgement ATALL and went to the window mic, where she took a drive thru order ANDFILLEDIT before casually walking over to me to take my order. By then, another customer had come in and stood behind me, himself commenting that it was taking forever for her to come to the counter!!! Never again.

Just a PSA about the Frisco Einstein bros bagels on Preston: this was my final visit here. Every time I’ve been the same guy working the drive thru window is just rude. Today he rolled his eyes when I thanked him… Nope, bagels there won’t be happening again. Worst location I’ve been to. Shame it’s the closest to me.

We arrived at 12:40 and were surprised that there was only 1 person eating in the restaurant. We placed our order for 2 not toasted plain bagel sandwiches at 12:45. We waited, and waied, and waited. At 1:00PM we noticed that people that arrived after us were being served. When we questioned the waitress/cashier, she LECTURED us that it takes a long time to make panini’s. We told her that we ordered sandwiches, so she then told us that the other people had arrived before us. Anyway, we asked for the manager and were informed she was the manager. Two weeks after we complained on the corporate website, the same waitress/cashier/manager called us and tried to buy us with ½ dozen bagels. She never apologized. We won’t be back.

Food has been good. The one time though I complained they acted like they didn’t care at all. Not friendly staff. Two stars because I hate their stupid line system which must be designed out of cheapness on their part. I’m fine with it when they’re less busy on early weekday mornings — but weekends suck. Today the one lady(GM) took 5 orders in a row. Told me as usual to stand at the other register at far end of the counter for checkout. So then she eventually gets down to that line and rings you out. By then the food was sitting on the counter getting cold and she could have at least handed me a coffee cup at the first register/line. Waiting at lengths of time in 2 lines is convenient for them, saves them money on staff but is totally inconsiderate of a customer’s time or dining pleasure. Either take the orders and ring them up at the same register(it’s called multi-tasking) or I’d even settle for the stupid 2 line system if they had a second cashier on the payroll ringing me out without waiting. Or redeploy your staff — I usually count 8 people in the back, but only one at the registers. (Leaving now — as I wrote this review, the line now extends out to the sidewalk due to the slow counter approach.)

They are open early and the associates are very friendly. I stop here at least once a month and the quality and service levels never change. The winter blend coffee is really good when it’s really hot. Great place to grab a dozen bagels for the family in for the holidays. Give them a try.
