Got the Bim bom Bap… or whatever it’s called. Was simply white rice, iceberg lettuce, sriracha, mung bean sprouts, and julienne carrots. When mixed all up, it was just ok. We were eating it thinking, ‘its certainly edible, but we won’t be coming back for it anytime”. Also tried the monkey brains, which were a deep fried take on sushi. Was also just ok. Nothing special, and I wont be back.

Finally got to try this place. It’s good and prices are not bad. The seating is simple chairs and table. Nothing fancy. We ordered the dynamite rice bowl. It’s sushi rice w/salmon, shrimp, crab and avocado and then baked. This was the best dish and oddly enough, not in a bowl. Then we ordered the bulgogi bowl. While it was good, it wasn’t what I was expecting. I guess I expected bulgogi with the usual sweet marinade and sesame seeds. Instead this had bulgogi with veggies and Japanese sauces. It was flavorful but not what I expected. The owner told us to mix out bowls. This was hard with the bowls they provide. They are tall and narrow making it hard to mix. We also got a crunch roll. Again… not what I was expecting. I expected shrimp tempura and it was steamed shrimp. Still good and not bad for $ 7.95. My sons got chicken teriyaki and chicken fried rice. They were good. Usual fare. Will be back if they remain open. Unfortunately, I don’t think they will last long because of the location.

This place will never make it. The food is ok, the prices are pretty good but the execution is poor. I place a large to go order. They told me it would take 10 mins to be ready. I showed up in ten mins, and then had to wait an extra 25 mins. The place was empty but they just could not quickly produce the food. The sushi was ok. Probably won’t be back. Nice folks but the food needs to be better.

Saw this place pop up as I work close by in Frisco Square. I’ve been to a similar place in LA where they throw everything in the bowl and you mix up the goodness and chow down. I had the bulgogi bowl and it was pretty satisfying. I thought the rice to meat ratio was a bit off at first glance, but once I got to eating, it was spot on. Overall, tasty and price was reasonable. One critique though: the bowls they put the food in are a bit deep, so being able to mix everything is a bit cumbersome. If only the bowls were just wider and more shallow, I think that would work out better, but that’s just my personal preference. I’ll be back!

Really good Bulgogi bowl. Rice is delicious. California roll and miso soup good as well.

Excellent flavor and value. I had a Shrimp Fried Rice Bowl which was hugh and exceedingly flavorful. Am going to take my grandson there soon as he is a big sushi fan and I want to try more of their dishes. A little hard to find if you don’t know what you’re looking for — but, it’s right beside the Subway shop(which I probably won’t be stopping in anymore now that I have discovered these great guys!

I’ve been meaning to try this place ever since I noticed it took over the location of the restaurant that was there before. It’s delicious! We usually order take out so that’s what I ordered tonight. I ordered the Dynamite Bowl and a Factory Tower Bowl. It turns out it was enough for my husband and I to share some of each. Both were equally good and the portion was great. It definitely was like a sushi roll in a bowl. Really great flavor! The guy at the counter was very friendly and knowledgable with the menu. This place really reminds me of a place we ordered at a lot when we lived in California called California Roll and Teriyaki. I mentioned it to the guy and he said the concept is modeled after similar places in California. I also loved the prices here. Very fair for the quality and portion. My husband and I are looking forward to coming back to try their teriyaki bowl and rolls. This will definitely be one of our regular take-out spots. If you’re thinking about trying them out I highly recommend you give them a try. It’s not a chain restaurant and you’ll be supporting a local business. By the way, I wasn’t able to find a website for them or a Facebook page. I asked and it turns out their website is . *** EDIT December(from 5 stars to 2 stars) — After coming here and ordering the same items I thought I’d change it up a bit and try their smoked salmon salad. Sounds tasty right? My husband went to pick it up and noticed the salad that was given to him was in an extremely small container for being $ 10 so he double checked with the guy working. The guy working admitted to him that he wasn’t sure exactly how the salad was supposed to be made. He didn’t have anyone to ask because the owner was on vacation. Yet, he was going to let my husband leave with a tiny side salad that was supposed to be an entrée. Apparently he added more lettuce to my salad and put it in a larger container and sent it away with my husband. My husband gets home with dinner and I open up my salad and was shocked to find iceberg lettuce! It was only iceberg lettuce, avocado and a few small piece of smoke salmon in it. The salad was inedible because there was some funky bitter taste to the lettuce. Perhaps it was soaking in chemicals??? There was NO dressing at all, just iceberg lettuce, avocado and smoked salmon. I would assume there would have been a sesame ginger dressing or a miso dressing. No, just the bitter taste of chemicals in my mouth when I took a bite. $ 10 down the drain. My husband called the guy and told him about the salad and he apologized and said next time we come back in he will make me another one. No. We haven’t been back since. Don’t get me wrong. I thought the sushi rolls I’ve had were very decent. Along with the Dynamite and Factory Tower bowls. But when there’s never anyone in the restaurant every time we come even after telling the owner multiple times he needs a Facebook page and that I couldn’t find a website to look up the menu. Then finding out this employee wasn’t fully trained on the menu and the owner left on vacation, it just appears like the owner doesn’t give a crap about the longevity of his restaurant. Which leads me to believe the quality of the ingredients must also be suffering too.

Stopped in on a whim and loved it! A great selection of Asian fusion menu items that tastes fresh and healthy. The employees/owners are very friendly and helpful! I will definitely be coming back as there are many other things I want to try from here! It’s a great fast/casual stop, you will not be disappointed.

Awesome new take on rice and sushi! Really great fried rice if you prefer that more or they have sushi bowls which is like a big sushi roll all mixed up in a bowl! Also have regular sushi. Everything is really fresh. Love it!
