Family favorite — especially on Sunday when the kids get free ice cream! Portions are generous, food is tasty and prices are fair. We typically split up an adult plate and poach off our oldest since the younger one can never finish a kid’s plate of her own. We remember when we first moved to Frisco that we didn’t care for the taste for whatever reason. Now we love it — I only share it with y’all in case you feel the same… Hope it grows on you, too.

Normally my favorite place, they ruined that. We stopped in for take out. First, they screwed up the order, but the girl who took the order caught it. Next, we sat for 30 minutes waiting on the bread for the order. The girls at the bread oven pulled it out, the went back to their conversation while to go’s backed up, meanwhile, the dining room gets no bread either. Finally get the bread, so we can go home. Get home, there is only 1 order of bread for the two orders. Next, we open the chocolate pie, it has pieces of plastic in it. WTF? Of course we kept it for pics to post later. This is a serious lack of management problem. I hope they get it fixed, get rid of Eric the lack of manager, so it can get back to being a great place.

Not very good. The sides taste like the kind you get out of a container at the grocery store. The only good parts were the rolls and pie. Do yourself a favor and just go to Dickey’s or Hutchins. Staff was very friendly though.

We ate here on a Saturday around 3 for. lunch? You know how weekends are :) you walk up to a counter where a guy was ready to cut off whatever meat you desired. Very very griendly crowd. The prices are a bit more than a cheap lunch, but the food is quite good. My husband and I both got a brisket sandwich plate. They’ll fresh slice the brisket to your specifications, pile it on a giant bun and hand you a plate that has two more compartments. You then serve yourself sides, which means you can essentially pile on as much as you choose :) I got mac n cheese and green beans and my husband got baked beans and potato salad. The Dr. Pepper was flat, but we replaced it with peach tea which was great. You check out and then take your food to the table. Half way through eating, a girl came by the table and offered hot yeast rolls! Yummmm! I ate my brisket sandwich without the bun. it was a good amount of meat and it was so tender and full of flavor. The sides were very fresh tasting, which was a nice change from some of the competitors. I don’t like this kind of food everyday, but I’d certainly come back. They’ve got desserts too, but we were full!

My favorite place for ribs. Tonight they did not disappoint. The only disappointment was the bread lady. She lied when she said she would come back with rolls. So get all your rolls when you order your food. They still get five stars even if the bread lady sucks.

Unlimited sides and gluttonous buttery bread galore!!! Spring Creek is a rustic establishment and a rare bang-for-your-buck. I stepped into this barbecue joint for lunch with a friend and was not disappointed. For $ 9.99, you had your choice of meat(brisket, sausage links, chicken wings, and more) plus unlimited sides. And, you also have a steady stream of fresh, warm bread delivered to your table nonstop. I chose the brisket, opting for the fattier parts, and was satisfied with my food baby. Get extra sides(no limit) and box them togo for an extra meal! Now that’s a bargain.

We’ve been going to this restaurant for about 5 years because of the wonderful ribs and green beans, but last week was the last time. Why? Well, let me start by saying that the place has gotten really dirty. The entry door, both inside and out, bears the marks of many greasy hands and to remove the caked on buildup someone will need to scrape it off with a tool. The bathroom doors are just as filthy. I don’t think anyone ever cleans those. In the bathroom there is water damage in the ceiling causing the paint to peel and the faucets are green with corrosion. I didn’t even go into the stalls to use the bathroom. I’ve been to gas station bathrooms much cleaner that these. Now to the food. We’ve always loved their ribs, bread, and green beans. The ribs and bread are still great, but during my last three visits the green beans were so salty that I had to switch to corn on the cob. My ribs were tasty, but my husband’s were mostly bones with a thin layer of meat. Neither of us are picky eaters at all, but we’ve seen the decline and have simply decided to go elsewhere from now on. Sad, really, because it would be so easy to fix.

Spring Creek barbecue is some of the best around, have many locations. This location walk inside went to the to go counter to place a family or but no one would help me. Waited for for five minutes had a couple people say I’ll be right with you sir. But no one would help me I waited another four or five minutes and another person said I’ll be right with you sir but no one ever helped me. I turned and looked at the gentleman who was also waiting in line behind me with a fed up look on my face told him good luck and left and went to the next barbecue restaurant down the street, not like there’s one every 5000 feet in Frisco. I’ll be back a different day to Spring Creek barbecue, I just needed to report on Unilocal their lack of quality service. Management is now on notice.

Not bad for bbq, good amount of serving and I have to mention their hot rolls are one of the reasons why I like going back to this place. * Unlimited hot rolls * Good parking space * Plenty of tables and area for a big party

We had dinner at Spring Creek tonight. Needless to say, my search for good barbecue continues. I ordered the chicken dinner and my wife got turkey salad. The barbecue sauce lacked any punch at all was was watered down. The bean should be renamed«burnt beans» because that’s what they tasted like. My wife’s salad was basically lettuce with some turkey with virtually no other ingredients. You could have filled a glass with the amount of water left in the bottom of her bowl The quest for good Texas BBQ continues

One of the best bbq places here in North Dallas. So much better than Rudy’s as their sides are free and they keep coming! We eat here every now and then. We even have meetings held here. The food is so good and the price is just about right! And the bread/roll? Sooo yummy! My kids loooved their mac n cheese too!

Just for something different & because our current favorite BBQ place was closed, we stopped here. First, the prices are outrageous for BBQ. $ 35 for a lunch feeding two people is just wrong. The food is just average. The only thing I really like about this place are the hot rolls delivered to your table fresh from the oven. Other than that nothing special about the food. The BBQ sauce is good, but nothing outstanding. I’d choose Dicky’s over this in a pinch!

The location was very clean and the staff were courteous and that is the main reason I would return and recommend them. If you are interested in having a fund raising event, this is a wonderful place to do it.

My favorite things about Spring Creek BBQ are hot fresh bread, BBQ sauce, and black pepper sausage. I use to work at a location in Houston and was expecting a lot out of this location. It may have been because my friends and I came 30 mins until closing and they stopped cooking for the night, but my slice beef was a bit dry. Hot fresh bread was still great. I tried some of the black pepper sausage from my boyfriends plate and it was still very good. BBQ sauce here is the best. They also have a special sauce you can ask for. My favorite!

Whenever I am in Dallas, I make sure to hit one of their locations. I think the three best things about this place is their BBQ sauce, the hot bread that they keep circulating, and(did I mention this?) their BBQ sauce. No seriously, the sauce is phenomenal — they sell bottles of the stuff and tons of people just buy it to cook with at home. In terms of what to get, I always grab the chicken — it’s always so tender, it’s practically falling off the bone. If you’re unsure, they also have a combination option where you can pick two different meats too. I’m sure I have mentioned this, but they’ll ask you if you want sauce on you meat — make sure you get it with the sauce. I made the mistake of not doing this once, and never again will I go sauceless. The meats come with all you can eat sides(which I just figured out recently). They always have cole slaw, baked beens, green beans, macaroni cheese, and corn on the cob. Just grab whatever you want on your plate. If you want more, just come back, grab a clean plate and help yourself again. While you’re eating, one of the workers comes around with a big basket of bread that’s fresh out of the oven. These are sooo addicting — I always end up grabbing an extra one to take home with me. They also do have some delicious looking desserts — cobblers and pies mostly. I’ve never have enough room to try one, but they look(and smell) delicious!
