Great food with a big selection! Laid back atmosphere. Wednesday nights is Trivia night on the patio from 7−10pm. Kala was on waitress and she rocks! Will definitely be back!

The people were great. The service was great. The food was good. It’s a sports bar type atmosphere but family friendly with games to play at your table including cards, jenga and dominoes. We didn’t take our kids because I wasn’t sure it would be a good place for them. After visiting, I know it will be a good experience when we do bring them.

I’m really surprised at the almost perfect stars here. I happened to be in the area and stopped by this little hole in the wall joint. Nothing much as far as atmosphere, burgers were edible and I should’ve saved my self calories by not ordering a drink here.

Came in because I wanted a hamburger. Much to my surprise they have martinis. Order the pineapple ginger martini superb. Just got the hamburger and it was juicy and delicious and even grilled onions added at my request. The fries were really great too. Unique thing was they have games at each table and you’re able to play cards or board games until your food comes a nice touch especially if you have kids.

Ummm, all the five stars? Not buying it. Ate here once, had the chicken fried steak with jalapeño gravy. Not really impressed. There was nothing wrong with it but it was just average. Nothing to get excited about. I’ll try something else again sometime but 5 stars, not sure about that.
I will say patio in the back is nice when the weather is nice and they have live music, a huge plus.

We had a large party (with reservations) here for a ladies’ night /​Christmas celebration. 20 – 25 of us were seated on the patio (it was so warm for December and the atmosphere was perfect. They also had some heaters). The service, while started a little slow to get things going on drinks, quickly picked up and was fabulous, taking our names and keeping perfect tabs on everyone’s bill. Check out was quick and efficient as well. Biggest complaints were it being difficult to talk with everyone in an «L» shape set up and lack of top shelf liquor. All in all, for a casual local joint, this place delivers. The food, while mostly «typical bar food» was good and tastes fresh. Some group faces were the burgers, loaded fries and fried pickle spears (spears are better than chips)!
There was even some impromptu late night entertainment on the outdoor stage (maybe it was us, maybe it wasn’t. There was definitely a tip jar). Worth checking out for a low key time with good food and service.

An awesome hidden gem in Frisco.
The food is really pretty good — especially for the price. We had the cheese fries, CFS with jalapeño gravy, steak & shrimp and some kid dishes (grilled cheese, cheeseburger) it was all really good. Solid beer selection and good prices on drinks.
The atmosphere inside is great — a Texas/​rustic vibe + there’s a good outside patio. They do a lot of live music with talented local musicians who deserve your support.
It’s also a great place for kids, games on tables, stuff to color and free ice cream at the end.
We love this place.

Kind of stumbled on Stans as we were wandering around the area before the Sounders v FCD playoff. Really good burgers and a terrific staff make for a fun place to go pre or post FC Dallas games.

Great food and great people! We came in before a soccer game and couldn’t have felt more comfortable. Service was excellent with the manager checking in along with our server. Good was fast and fantastic. Will come hear again before the next match!

Fun place with live music. I had the bbq cheddar burger and my husband had a chicken Cesar salad. Both were good, and we would come back!

Great place. Loved the burger, my wife loved the brisket tacos, the kids food was great! The complementary ice cream (for all ages) was wonderful! Tim made us feel right at home.

First trip to Stan’s last night with the family, and we couldn’t have been more impressed. From treating our kids incredibly (including songs from the musicians especially for our little people) to great prices for very good food, they knocked it out of the ballpark. Add to that an open mic night with great performers and a friendly group of diners/​listeners, and we’ll be back soon.
As to the food — my burger was great and my wife’s catfish and shrimp was better than solid. The fries were awesome — great seasoning and cooked perfect. The kids’ chicken fingers looked great and they ate great, including the complimentary ice cream.
We could not have had a better time, and are excited to have found our first great new place since moving to Frisco.

Great little dive restaurant/​bar in old town Frisco. Food is consistently good, no matter what we order. Prices are reasonable, and the manager walks around checking on the tables.
Waitresses are cute, there’s always a ball game on the TVs, and plenty of parking.
Highly recommended!

Went to Stan’s again last night for a work outing. Tim, the manager, and Jason, bartender, are just great hosts and the ambiance is just great.
Also, live music from Ryan Rhynes was just awesome.
I was tempted to not leave another Unilocal review because I view this place as a hidden gem and I don’t want it to get so busy, like most good things in Frisco, that it loses its luster and downhome service.

We had Jason for our server he was great. My husband had some special requests with his catfish and came out perfect. I had the peppercorn medallions omg I licked the plate clean. The drinks were amazing drink for amazing.

My wife and I came here on early on a Saturday night and ordered the Turkey Burger with Cheese Fries and the Chicken Fried Chicken with Jalapeño Gravy, Mixed Veggies and Mashed Potatoes. Turkey Burger was flavorful and the fries were great too (I prefer «soggier» fries — these weren’t soggy but weren’t crisp either so were to my liking). The Chicken Fried Chicken wasn’t drowning in batter and had a nice flavor to it.
Service was friendly and we’d probably go back again.

Stopped in tonight TOTALLY on a whim tonight and I’m so glad I did! My salad was huge and tasty! They have a wide variety of food on their menu so I’d say there’s something for everyone! My husband had the chicken fried steak and loved it. The portions are honestly BIG. Food came out fast and the staff was perfectly attentive.
Most notably, the customer service and friendliness of the staff was impressive. I’d return for the impeccable service alone!
Highly suggest giving this place a try!

Great atmosphere especially on the dining outside area. Warm subtle lightening.
Got the catfish lemon capers with garlic broccoli. They both had wonderful flavor.
Junior queso was very good.
