Nice pizza, but the locals have not been to Chicago or New York for pizza. I was told to go there by a local. It tasted like a frozen pizza to me. The service was excellent and friendly. One issue I must mention is there was very little cheese on the pizza. The toppings fell off as we went for each piece.

They don’t accept credit cards, have an online ordering on website that doesn’t work because it’s been«under construction» since at least 2011, small parking lot was covered in trash. Didn’t get to eat because my bank is in another state and I only carry credit cards and small cash. I just read There’s an atm, but based on some of the reviews here, why pay an atm fee when I know there are many other good local pizza places just down the street which except credit and have high quality food?

Good food, fast service, good prices. Overall a very good pizza restaurant! The only downside is that they do not accept credit card.

So I went here for my birthday because it rated well and looked like a cute place, plus there were a lot of cars parked out front. So we sat down with reasonable expectations. Unfortunately that didn’t last too long. I ordered a pastrami sandwich and everyone else ordered the signature pizza that the place is supposed to be famous for. I’m not picky, but I do appreciate decent food. Suffice it to say that these guys must not sell a lot of pastrami. The pastrami on my sandwich was spoiled, and it nearly made me sick. I did mention it to the waitress, but did not make a fuss.(to be fair she did give me $ 4 off the price of the meal, although that did not cover the pastrami sandwich …). To make matters worse however, the pizza that the rest of my family received was a little overdone, and overall less than impressive. I’m glad that others have had a good experience at this place but as for me and my house, we will not return. I wish you a better experience if you should decide to chance it.

Had heard wonderful things, but chalked it up to lack of competition. I was pleasantly surprised! The pizza is VERY good. The crust and sauce especially stand out. I am not normally a fan of thin crust, but this was excellent. The beer is good, they even have a small selection of craft brews. The ambiance is nothing special and sometimes there is a wait to be seated, they also use canned mushrooms(blerg). These are small squabbles though, this is a nice pizza shop in the middle of Front Royal.

Stopped in with the family for lunch after visiting the National Park. Not a huge fan of thin crust pizza but this was pretty good. We had one with the works and one with pepperoni and bacon. Service was friendly except for the surly hostess. Overall, nothing fantastic but I wouldn’t object to eating here again.

The one place to eat when visiting Front Royal. There’s a reason this place has been operating for 40 years. Great pizza!!!

Was looking for a place to eat pizza on the way through town and looked up on Unilocal! We were seated quickly and served promptly. The pizza was okay although it was very hot. Thin crust isn’t my preference but I kinda liked the square cut pieces. I didn’t like the corn meal on the bottom. It always makes pizza crust taste like sandpaper. This is definitely a local place. If you like NASCAR, annoying flys and cheap beer then this is the place for you.

Best pizza and wings. Period. Whenever we’re in the area, we buy plenty to take home with us.

Heard great things about this place but my group wasn’t impressed. Really low quality food. The salad was very overdressed and the pizza was basically a cracker with toppings. Very oily pizza. I wouldn’t dine here again. Not worth the money.

I’ve never had worse pizza except maybe from the freezer. Imagine cardboard with toppings. Then to top it off they only accept cash or check so of course you’re forced to withdraw money from the atm they have inside.

It’s all about the crust and sauce. Get the pizazz sauce. Toppings are unnecessary and will play second fiddle to the sauce and crust, but pepperoni was good. This is going to become a ritual after hikes in Shenandoah

We had the taco pizza which was phenomenal. It was loaded with fresh veggies and the crust was crispy. We also had a Caesar salad which was flavorful. The servers were friendly. The place is not too classy but it’s home-styled. The girls bathroom was not very clean and the doors didn’t latch. Other than the bathroom, this place was amazing. Will definitely come back!

NOTE: this is a cash only establishment! Great little pizza joint in downtown Front Royal. After a day of trekking, mountain biking and paddling, pizza and beer are the absolute best rewards. Personally I love thin crust pizza — a thinner crust means more room in my belly for the good stuff on top of the pizza! The Melting Pot is terrific — traditional pizza toppings, iceberg lettuce salads, friendly service and great prices. I’m definitely a fan!

Stopped in on my way through town for work. Ordered a small pepperoni pizza lunch special. Pizza was good. Thin crust cut into strips rather than standard slices so it’s easier to eat. They’ve got good beer prices from looking at the menu. They do not accept credit/debit cards but have an ATM machine right by the front door so it’s convenient. Will return to try other menu items.

I grew up in the shadows of the Big Apple her self, on good New York Sicilian style(thin crust) pizza and this place isn’t that. Their meat lovers is chock full of meat and their sauce has a bite while the taste is ok the crust is very disappointing. I got two large meat lovers and two extra cheese cheese pizzas and it cost about 70 dollars. If the crust wasn’t so disappointing I would give 3 stars but given my history and pizza standards and no credit cards this is only a 2 star(at best) for me. By the way they only use provolone cheese on their pizza, all I can say is total Philistines, go to New York and learn how a good pizza is really made.

My friends and I came here after a day of climbing at Elizabeth Furnace. For a small town, this place actually serves pretty decent pizza. All the locals seem to like it too since it was crowded. I chose the dinner portion of the«All the Way» pizza. It had mushrooms, green peppers, sausage, onion, and pepperoni. I got it with their pizzazz sauce, which is sauce with a tad spiciness to it. Besides the mushrooms, which may have been from a can, the veggies were fresh and the toppings covered the pizza in its entirety. It was delicious and tasty. For a $ 10 pizza, it was pretty big. I was only able to finish half of it. My friend went safe and ordered the pepperoni pizza. It was simple, yet good. I forgot what my other friend ordered, but it was completely covered with olives. I’m not a fan of olives so I didn’t try it. The pizzas were surprisingly good. It’s thin crust so it was a little crispy at the bottom, which is good. It had a good ratio of cheese to sauce. They do not cut their pizza like Pizza Hut or Dominoes. Instead, it’s cut into rectangles so it made it a little interesting to eat. They also serve beer! *Cash only establishment
