The Flame Broiler

Slow service even not during lunch rush. I expected more from this location compared to the other locations around Fullerton but this certainly takes the trophy for slowest service.

A lot of people are bagging on this place but I’ve been there quite a few times this last month and it was pretty decent. It did everything it was expected to do. Maybe because I go during the evening the restaurant tends to be better because of different employees.

Don’t come to this location. I’ve been here two times and both times my chicken was dry and burnt.
Notice they don’t have a phone number? It’s most likely because they’re tired of people complaining.
The reason why I’m giving this place a two star was because the first time I found the number on the receipt called and the manager offered a free meal. However, when I went back the second time, the food was yet again burnt. I always give a second chance. But, never a third.
Sorry guys. It’s the truth.

Horrible! Picked up lunch today went back to the office and discovered that my lunch shrunk!!! Either they are getting real cheap with the food portioning or i have a hole at the bottom of my bowl! 5.00 for this really??? Wtf is this!!! Not worth it!!!

What a bummer, we were so disappointed. This was out first time at this Flame Broiler and it will be our last time. We walked in and realized we were the only customers we figured we would be out lickity split. Upon placing our order the cashier walked down the hall and around the corner. Moments later she returned to the kitchen area to cook our food.
She was a 1 woman show (literally, since she was the only employee there). It took her 20 minutes to cook our food which was over cooked, burnt and lacked flavor (Except for the charcoal taste). Service was nothing to brag about. At last a second employee! The second employee walked in with a Ralphs shopping bag and began refilling the bottled water cooler as our food arrived. Not impressed, especially for Flame Broiler fans.
There is a positive side to this review. Both employees were nice and there was adequate parking.
IF we ever decide to return, it will be to a different location.

7 dollars for an empty bowl. I can literally count the pieces of chicken on this fucking thing. Fuck this place never again. 0 stars. Better of with a peanut butter and jelly sandwich than this busllshit.

I got a bowl of ½ chicken and beef. The meat tastes old and extremely over cook. The order took about 15 – 20 mins and I was the only customer. Worst flame broiler in the area. I hope the owner will read this and improve the quality of of food.

Got a mini veggie bowl and waited 24 minutes from since I paid for my order. Only 2 employees there for busy lunch rush. The employees are doing their best but this is a management issue with scheduling. They should have at least 3 people working here for lunch. This place is filled with pissed off people waiting way too long for their food. 24 minutes total wait time and it’s just veggies and rice! I won’t be back. I just don’t have that much time to waste for rice and vegetables. Who knows how much longer it would have taken for a meat bowl.

Do not come to this flame broiler this is by far the worst flame broiler in the chain, they barely give you meat they don’t know how to cook. Your better off going somewhere else in the shopping center I will never come here again

This is the only Flame Broiler that I see that measures the chicken before they put it on the rice… they have a small measuring cup, put the cooked chicken into it then put that measured chicken on top. Really? I pay almost $ 7.00 for nothing but rice and a cup of chicken? Don’t go here… go to the one on Chapman and Raymond Avenue they are waaay better and the chicken is flowing over your rice.

Simple! I got a LONG piece of BLACK hair at the bottom of my Half and Half bowl! I noticed it after I mixed it and wanted to throw up! I was already home when I noticed it! And I don’t live close to this Boiler! I just wanted my lunch since school (FJC) is right there! Just sucked!

I was headed towards the restaurant next door & noticed this brand new restaurant. As I stood outside the door reading the menu I was greeted & invited into the restaurant to better read the menu & offered a sample. I’ve never been to a Flame Broiler. I ordered The Works Plate & I love it!
I also love that they’re playing the Fish (KFSH) radio station!
They just opened a couple of weeks ago.
