Starbucks

They make solid drinks. Which is a huge plus considering that this location is located pretty darn close to my property. I’m sure we’ve all experienced their share of terrible Starbucks locations where the drinks taste nothing like they’re supposed to haha… The baristas here are great and friendly and do their best to keep the experience closet to help you get out the door as quickly as possible especially when you need to start your morning commute ASAP.
Even though there is ample parking in the area in general wish they had a few more designated Starbucks only short term parking spots right in front of the store to make my morning coffee runs faster.
I like walking into the store but wish they had a drive through option as well in order to save time looking for parking especially in the mornings when you are rushing to get on the road to start your morning commute!

Came to this location cause I play basketball on Saturday mornings at the La Fitness right across the parking lot. I needed a nice fat free hot chocolate to warm me up before I play, staff members aren’t that friendly even though there not mean either. That’s why I gave 4 stars instead of 5.

I love this Starbucks. Starbucks philosophy on customer satisfaction is make a consistent product with consistent service. I’ve been to a lot of stores in many different cities. This Starbucks is the best I’ve been to for 3 reasons.
1) They have a clover. Starbucks reserve coffee made on their clover machine is awesome. It’s like a reverse French press and it makes the coffee so rich and flavorful. Not every Starbucks has a clover, but it is worth trying if you’ve never had. The app will tell you what stores near you have a clover.
2) DT Crown is very convenient. I know this isn’t the case for everyone in the DC area, but I can think of 5 or 6 in a 2 mile radius of this Starbucks. This is the most convenient for store for me.
3) The crew is *amazing*. Really. The manager, Su, totally empowers her team to make sure every customer is happy. They’re fast, they’re knowledgable, they have a really clean store. The entire team is good (I have NOT experienced a B team like in other stores) and friendly. They ALL actually seem happy to be there.
The crew is what exponentially separates this store from all the all the others.

Favorite Starbucks so far, staffs are friendly and the patio makes it a great place to hang with friends.

Having been a loyal subject of Empress Su since her early reign over the lesser Rio Starbucks (see Rio Starbucks review), I followed her when she conquered and expanded her realm over the greater Crown. After her conquest, she left Obergruppenführer Jenna to guard over Rio in her stead. Both have flourished, especially with the aid of Greg as ExO of Rio. Greg, a loyal foot-​soldier of the resistance, remained behind, avoiding the dangers of the front lines, as Su once so astutely commented from her throne… because he has a family… a child.
Rarely has a faster paced Starbucks so quickly produced such perfectly crafted espresso beverages with an almost machine like efficiency.
And did I mention they have a CLOVER?!

My go to Starbucks for a few reasons… super easy to get to since it’s close to work, parking is great and the staff are super friendly!
I never have enough time to stay and sit on the patio, but it looks gorgeous. If you have time or need to get some work done, here’s a great place to go.

I go to this Starbucks because it near where I live! Other Starbucks I just go when I am in the area!

Great addition to the Rio area! The employees are welcoming, friendly and always provide service with a smile. The options on their menu are kept in stock and the manager is always an eye shot away for additional assistance.
I have been here for early mornings and evenings and each time received consistent service. This is one of my favorite locations in the MoCo. :)

I visited this Starbucks located in «Downtown Crown» first time (7÷6÷15). This is a recently opened Starbucks & residential community less than 2 yrs old. The Starbucks was well stocked w/​usual fare & a new treat that caught my eye «sweet potato loaf». Delicious New Breakfast treat!

Not all Starbucks are created equal. There are few that make drinks as they should. Not sure why that is. Also not all of them have consistent flavors… another weird thing.
But this location!!. This location has great service and consistency every time I’ve been there. Great location.
Inside has a good amount of seat and they have a patio of outdoor seating. Its nice either way. The parking can be a little tight due to the Harris teeter right next door. Oh well. As long as I get my drink the way I like it… :)

Great experience at this Starbucks. The place is large with lots of outdoor seating. The staff was friendly and attentive making sure they got orders correct, but the best part was the chai tasted great. It was the best Starbucks chai in the surrounding area.

Great location, free parking, competent employees. Very convenient and a comfortable walk if you’re lucky enough to live in the area. I went to what Starbucks billed as the «World’s Largest Coffee Date». Stag of course. For $ 5, I ordered a Caffe Verona coffee press with extra hot cream and a double chocolate chunk brownie. The coffee was brewed using their new Clover brewing system. Mina, the barista, said it was a high tech French press machine. WOW this is an amazing cup of coffee! I would definitely pay for a cup of coffee made this way. Also, the bathrooms are clean, plenty of seats, and well stocked condiments like honey, cinnamon, and brown sugar.

Plenty of comfy seating and outlets. Clover machine for the real coffee geeks. Doors on both sides to the street and the Harris Teeter parking lot in back. WiFi speed was a bit slow. Outside tables will be nice when Spring comes.

Happy employees, fast service, great location! Love being able to wake up and walk right in to grab some coffee.

Their decaf soy lattes (DSL) are so much tastier than before. There were some QC issues but I notice everyone’s on board and they are «nailing it!»

My favorite Starbucks in the area. I like how you don’t have to fight for a space in the parking lot. The baristas’ personalities are energetic and glowing. My favorite drinks are Iced Very Berry Hibiscus Refresher, Iced Black Tea Lemonade Refresher, Hot Chai Latte, Hot Opera Chai, Hot Apple Chai, Green Tea Frappucino, and Vanilla Bean Frappucino.

Lots of outdoor seating on a sunny patio, plenty of plugs indoors, fast wifi, and a diaper changing station in both of the men’s and women’s restrooms! Starbucks clearly has addressed issues in other locations by building this location correctly from the start. I’ve never had difficulty finding a table when I’ve come here the past 11 times (compared to Wintergreen Plaza in Rockville). What’s not to like?

The staff here is really friendly, I think part of the reason is because I work nearby and I come frequently.
But the layout is really intimate but spaced out so if you need to study you can without worrying about people bothering you.
There is outdoor seating as well, which is great on those nice summer/​fall days that you just wanna soak up some rays.

Always a nice experience. Great wifi. Nice to hang out and meet neighbors and friends who stay at the neighborhood Cadence Apartments. Love the friendliness of the Baristas. Did not get my choice of breakfast sandwich but the service with a smile made up for that.. .

I know pretty much every Starbucks in the lower 48 (okay not really, but I know most in the DMV) and this is a top notch store. New store, located next to Rio in the new Crown Farm. Most baristas came from the Boardwalk store, with a few other sprinkled in.
Lovely HUGE outside seating area, across from the Wine store and Harris Teeter.
Clean funky and lots of great seating. ALSO A CLOVER STORE! (I think less than 10% are clover stores).
Always an awesome experience, short lines, and great coffee. Sue the Manager does an awesome job and her staff are outrageously nice.
