Always get the shroom burger coz I don’t eat meat. They made yummy tasty food anyway so I will go there again but just little higher price though

Short and sweet review. This is my 4th time here. Food is typical shake shack, that is mediocre burgers, good hot dogs and great shakes, especially shakes of the week. On my four visits, a few things stood out: 1) they got rid of the c-line in front of my eyes. When asked why, I got a shrug. This was the Friday before easter and it has not yet returned. 2) when I ordered the easter special custard that day, they refused to make it, saying it started saturday. Shack Corporate via Facebook confirmed this was an error. 3) Burgers are well made but as per Shack standards not worth the long wait. 4) Shakes are great and they are adjusting better to get c-line-like orders out quicker. Initially however it took just as long as a burger. Shakes are über pricey like their burgers. 5) Hot dogs are good but are not as loaded as the Brooklyn Heights location. Still a good value at 4 bucks plus. 6) Love the outdoor porch. Be aware the there are crowds all the time. If you want a similar burger go to smashburger… cheaper and larger and wait is less most of the time. Be prepared to wait if you want a quick shake; fast food this is not. 3 for food, 2 and a half for service and 1 for value.

GOODAFTERNOONSHAKESHACK ! I guess I’m lucky I come here when it’s not that crowded. Not to say that I haven’t been here when the line is out the door. But most of the time I get lucky. I love shakes, most places I go to do not know how to make them. I have had every combination and attempt at a shake that can be made. So I’m really pleased when I find something that can be called a shake. Was here a few times previous… today however, I came with a plan to Unilocal. I like how this location is situated in the Galleria Mall, The Shake Shack becomes a nice little respite as you shop .and go from store to store . I particularly like the outside deck area when it’s not TOOHOT. (winters are short enough on Long Island I’ll take as much time as much Sun as I can get.) … TODAY was a little hot, 88 degrees so I decided to take an indoor table. The Shake Shack has flat screen TVs so I was able to watch the USA soccer game which was on. ALSO I can enjoy some nice cool water which is provided free at the condiment table. The little BUZZER that they give you to let you know your meal is ready buzzed in about 10 minutes and I went up to get my meal … it was just coming fresh and hot off the grill. When I got to my table I noticed that the shake was nice and thick straw stood up right in the middle of it and didn’t move. The taste of the shake was intensely chocolate and satisfying. I can’t wait to try different flavors. I ordered a double burger with bacon lettuce tomato cheese onions . The staff was very courteous. The flavor of this burger was outstanding .had a different intense beefy flavor then I was accustomed to that many of the other burger places in the area. The Burger was very juicy. Fresh and alive with flavor. I had previously tried the french fries and found them to not be impressive. Get yourself ready to pay a lot for your burger and shake much more than other places But I know it is the sign of the times in which workers receiving higher salary and with the obvious difference in the taste of the burger … I guess it was worth the $ 16 for the burger and shake. I will be exercising walking 8 miles tonight to get rid of the meal… so of course it’s not the type of meal I can enjoy everyday. I will be returning here in the future conveniently located near some of my job sites … and again I was very pleased with the flavor freshness and juiciness of the burger and… wasn’t it good to see the straw stand up in the Shake . NICE and thick. Shake your booty… Will get big if I keep coming here. Jim D.

Always thought shake shack was overrated. Every time I had it, it was way too salty. However, I found out you can ask for no salt. It was a life changing experience. The burgers are so good and taste fresh. And the fries, no words can describe. Just go get your self a burger and fries. This location is westbury is pretty spacious and clean. However, there’s a long wait but that’s kind of expected at any shake shack. I will definitely be back whenever I’m craving a burger !

Cheese fries were good, shakes were good, burger was ehhh… too undercooked. I don’t remember the NYC locations leaving the burger patties this red inside. Generally I’m not the biggest fan of how greasy every Shake Shack’s burgers are, but this location is even less appealing than the one in Manhattan and the one in Brooklyn. They barely put any lettuce & tomato in the burgers too. Generally not impressed. If I get dragged back in at some point, I’ll grab fries and a shake and call it a day.

If you can make it out to Long Island. It’s just like the one in Manhattan for ½ the wait and better seating. I live how clean this location is and how they are constantly cleaning and filling up supplies. Burgers are great and a bit pricier than fast food regular joints. However, they make it on the spot. It’s what gives the burgers a distinctive fresh flavor. On the east coast, nothing really compares. I like the bite-sized juicy patty. However, it differs from IN&OUT in that it’s burgers are soggier and smaller. Fries are crisper and flavorful. Don’t miss out on the Abita root beer on tap. All in all, this is worth the extra trip out 30 minutes if you live on the outskirts of the city.

Summary: What’s the big deal? Food; 2 stars Service: 4 stars Atmosphere;3 stars Value: 2 stars Overall: 2 stars Will I go back? Only if someone else is paying. Food: Shakes are good. Especially the monthly ones. but the burgers? What’s the big deal? Why does everybody rave about Shake shack. It’s the sauce, they say, perhaps, cause it’s definitely not the burgers. I can get better burgers at my corner deli. And the famous sauce? Pfft… Service: Service is what is. The wait to get to the front of the line is long. But they make the burgers fresh. So there’s that. But then you bite into the burger and wonder why you just mortgaged your house for it? Atmosphere: Too crowded. Value: 2 stars. See above comment about better burgers at the local deli. Also, local deli is cheaper by far. Overall: 2 stars. not going back unless someone else is paying.

If you’ve never been here before. What are you waiting for?! Shake Shack has amazing burgers! Great fries! And their black & white shake is a must get. Parking can be a little tough in this shopping center, but you can always find a spot(near or far) and just walk over.(get your cardio in!) On peak hours, lines can be long and the venue, packed. But, if this makes you feel any better… the lines at this location are never as long as the ones in Manhattan. Be patient, and go get that burger! Overall, I recommend and will definitely come back.

Could be better! The staff here seem to be a bit out of sync. It took 20 minutes for me to receive my food. Which, in retrospect, could’ve been because I have a somewhat large order. HOWEVER, when I got my food, EVERYTHING from the cheese fries to the Dr. Pepper was the WRONG temperature! Food that was supposed to be hot was cold… drinks that were supposed to be cold were warm and watered down. I could’ve asked them to replace everything but I didn’t want to be late to my already purchased movie. 2 stars for the atmosphere it was also very clean.

Love this place. So glad they opened up a few locations outside of the city. Love their burgers and shakes. My usual is the Shack Burger — a cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato and ShackSauce(double) or the Smoke Shack — cheeseburger with all natural smoked ranch bacon, chopped cherry pepper, shack sauce(double). I always get a chocolate shake and cheese fries. Cannot go wrong!!! The wait doesn’t take long. Workers are fast and the food is always consistent. No complaints on my end. I recommend going here.

A local favorite ON Long Island. Great location in the Galleria Mall near Roosevelt Field. Right across Thomas Ham And Eggery Diner(A great diner btw). Shackstacks, Chick N’ Shacks and Shroom Burgers are amazing. Crinkle Fries are always well-seasoned and crispy. Much shorter lines than city locations. Every Shake Shack has a unique Concrete and their Malt Whitman does not disappoint. Velvety custard with malt powder, chocolate chunks and bits of banana bread YUM :) Recommended: ShackStack, Chicken, Fries, Shackmeister, Malt Whitman Concrete

I love their system of order at the counter, pay, and get a notification device with a number on it. Just find a table and wait impatiently for your number to be called and your device to light up and vibrate! The wait wasn’t long on the Saturday afternoon I visited even though it was busy. While waiting on the line, I looked at the large menu posted on the wall and typed up my order on my phone. I was able to just read off my order to the cashier and it made for a swift transaction. The cashier even said, «That was easy!» She was happy. Crinkle cut fries: delicious! No other words needed. Chicken sandwich: Crispy, nice sized piece of chicken breast topped with shredded lettuce, pickles and sauce on a potato bun! Yum! Hot dog: For a 4 year old but I snuck a few bites, ok I ate half of it! Crispy, it had that perfect snap and flavor. So good! Golden pound cake shake: Not overly sweet, not too thick, it was just right! Dip your fries in it, I swear it’s good! I will be back. I want to try a different hot dog and order a burger(they all look delicious). And a special thank you to fellow Unilocaler Bill S who has posted a review, check ins, and pics that prompted my first ever(and not the last) visit to Shake Shack!

Of course the food is unbelievable. Service AMAZING. Customers DISGUSTING! For real. The most rude horrible slobs around. Special shout out to the little pig who pulled up in a cab and didnt say thank you when I held the door open for her ugly ass then proceeds to TRY and cut in front of me. Not today. These cretins with their no manners are typical of the trash in Westbury. But my food is AWESOME. I requested the burger well done but there was still alot of pink in it so i didn’t finish it but it was no big deal. The people that work here are always smiling and happy. They were having some kind of meeting and those people looked miserable. Oh well. The GM Jeremy was walking around clearing trays and asking people how everything was. What other Fast food place does that? NONE. If only they had a drive thru so i didn’t have to deal with any customers than this place would be PERFECT.

Shake Shack is like a premium In-n-Out. Everything tastes a little bit better, but double the price. The end.

I guess I haven’t been to a Shake Shack in a while, or maybe NYC locations have spoiled me, but my hubby and I stopped by for a late night concrete. We got a small«black and white» aka vanilla ice cream with fudge and the cookie dough truffle mix ins. We weren’t mad about the $ 5.50 price tag until we got our concrete(which took a while, even though there was no line). It was ½ empty with literally 3 pieces of truffle. Could have gotten a better deal at any fast food joint.

What more is there to say about Shake Shack? that you came here for their burgers instead of their shakes…(and YESYOUDID!) This particular location is the first Shake Shack built in Long Island and from the ground up! I know cause I used to drive by it every week hoping they will open soon. It’s located at The Gallery at Westbury Plaza and there are plenty of parking so no need circle around and find parking! I really think what separates Shake Shack from it’s competition is the food but more than that it’s the décor and ambiance of the restaurant. I can’t really help but notice these things when walking into any Shake Shack(at least a majority of them) — first it’s surrounded by greens– namely trees, bushes, grass and etc, there’s always something green surrounding a Shake Shack, almost as if you are having a picnic outdoor. Second, all Shake Shack are very bright, they are all built with tons of glass, all 4 walls of glass so the interior is very bright, perfect for pictures! and third, almost all of the them offers outdoor seating which fits in perfectly with the picnic with nature theme. The food speaks for itself, you eat a burger at MCD or BK and eat one at Shake Shack and you don’t need to be a genius to recognize the differences. The meat is high quality and fresh, almost like they just butcher that cow in the back and made a burger for you. Fresh and high quality meat don’t make good food unless it’s cooked perfectly and I’m happy to say Shake Shack knows how to make a mean burger. The burger was tender, juicy and well seasoned, the buns were soft, squishy, fluffy and buttery so you always get that perfect bite when biting into one. TIP: Just make sure you have napkins ready cause this baby will drip cause it’s so juicy(I came home with a burger juice greased shirt cause I didn’t follow the simple rule of eating a burger– HOLDTIGHTANDLEANINALWAYS). Honestly the fries were just alright so you can consider skipping it and get two burgers instead. Service: The line doesn’t get too bad in this location and cashiers were very friendly and always greet you with a smile. Price: Medium to high– Bad news, there’s no combo here so everything is a la carte only. A good balanced meal(Burger, fries and a drink) will set you back around $ 15-$ 20(depending on your choice of burger and drink) Overall: Probably the best burger in town with décor and ambiance to boost. The ambiance makes you feel at home and with nature all in one while the food makes you want to scream FRESH and DELICIOUS! You will pay for good food and ambiance however so be sure to scam your friends and tell them you’ll pay for their drinks and they can pay for your burger.

It’s an upgrade to 5 stars today. Shack burger, fries and drink, perfect. No waiting in line, doubly perfect. And the staff managing the seating area keeping everything nice and clean and asking how your meal is and getting you extra drink… makes this a home run visit as Shake Shack. They have the holiday flavors of shakes available now. Thanks to the couple in the Mitsubushi Galant in the parking lot for sharing is caring with the front seat sex show. PS… people can see you thru those tinted windows. I won’t count any stars off for the bad sex show. Get a room people.

Food: Amazing burgers as always and the lines are not long and crazy like the other locations in Manhattan. I always go with the Shackburger Double with bacon. It’s always a perfect medium-well cooked burger on a potato bun that really helps the meat and cheese shine. I sometime like to go with the Smokeshack Double burger because it already has the bacon on it with chopped cherry peppers but the peppers are pickled and the vinegar acid from the peppers overwhelms the burger. The first few bytes are great but it doesn’t take the same at the end. Brew: They have a ShackMeister Ale made just for them by Brooklyn Brewery. It’s beautiful delicious American pale ale. It’s crisp and bright on the palate, a perfect balance to complement the beef. If you’re looking for something a bit bolder got to go with the Sixpoint Bengali. It’s an IPA served in a can packed with a citrus deep nose punch that will make you go crazy. It’s amazing! If you see this anywhere its with a try.

Equal parts of beef with the right amount of fatty lean compressed ground beef in a toasted buttery potato bun dressed the way you like it. As I consumed the burger within 5 minutes, I inhalled the fries like air. When I get up to throw away my tray, the servers take it out of my hands and do the dirty work. Such a great place to satisfy my palate and stomach.
