Not impressed from the moment we walked in. Waited 5 min for hostess to appear. Trash and a fork were on the floor at the table next to our booth. Multiple employees walked right by it. It was fairly slow so no excuse. Our waiter was inattentive. My food was lukewarm at best. Didn’t refill our drinks. Had to listen to another waitress smack her gum and blow bubbles the whole evening. Better training is in order. Won’t be returning. There are better options out there

Our group had a decent experience last night at this restaurant. The food was good, the restaurant was clean. However, our server(Heather) was the big letdown of the night. Between her gum-smacking, ignoring our empty tea glasses and the overall attitude she presented we were not impressed. Chili’s can do better.

I’ve eaten at alot of Chili’s in alot of different cities, but this one really stands out. They service here is different… perhaps because it is more of a small town. They are very friendly and get to know their customers. They seem to have alot of regulars. Margaritas are consistent and GREAT! My favorite is the skinny margarita. It’s in a great location, easy to get to and get out of. We will be back!

We have been coming here for years but started coming a lot more because of the Tex-Mex inspired menu and the service. Everything we have had on it so far is remarkable. I still love the burgers and the southwest egg rolls but really do enjoy the change. A note about the service is that it is always great Danny didn’t care that we came in late(after10pm) and served us as if it was 2pm and he wasn’t tired. Carey always gives us great service during the lunch hour everyday that she is working even though we are always in a hurry. Derek is always ready to help any guest if it’s his table or not. Just overall we’ve had great experiences lately.

I keep trying this place to get in a bit of variety vs Appleebee’s. I leave a little disappointed each time. The service is pretty good. Servers and other staff are always smiling and polite and kept our drinks full. My biggest issue with this place is that they can’t seem to get the timing of their appetizers correct. The last three visits our appetizer took a very long time and then would come AFTER our meal, with the meal, or barely even before the meal. On top of an appetizer being late once… it had hair mixed in it and we had to send it back. The entrees have always been good. I’m just not sure if the wait and mix-ups with the appetizers is really worth it.

Best ‘Ritas in Georgetown! Consistently. And the fajitas are just wonderful. I’m also a big fan of the black beans. Happy Hour is a special event w. really good prices.

Haven’t been to this place in over a year and the customer service has really disintegrated. After we get seated the woman in the red shirt hands us our forks wrapped in napkins. I look down and there was a piece of someone else’s food on it as well as a smudge of what appeared to be ketchup. I asked if we could get another napkin she grabs it out of hand without saying a word. After she brings it back she takes our food order. Another waiter came by to give us our drinks and tells us he will be taking over in which I’m fine with. I ask the guy for some extra napkins due to my little one liking to eat ranch and chips together and had it all over his face. The guy returns with 2 napkins in which were used pretty quickly. I told him thank you anyways. Each time I would get a refill or he brought our plates out I would be polite and say thank you. Well apparently they are not told to have polite manners when waiting a table. Neither the lady in red or the new waiter acknowledged my politeness. The worst part about it was the lady in red was the manager. Never ever again. I will be driving a few more miles south to the one in round rock. They have always treated us with respect and kindness! That is all

Chilli’s has come a long way! The new Tex-Mex items and the new flatbreads are SO delicious! Love the remodel and the tablets for the kids. Everyone’s happy! We have also had much better service in the last few months than ever before. Great job!

I promised to never return to this location after experiencing about every bad thing you can in a restaurant. That was early 2013. My wife convinced me to try again. While they are in the middle of a remodeling, the food was good, although not so hot you had to let the fajitas cool. Amber, our server, was excellent. They now have red bell peppers which is much better than green. My order was as placed. I didn’t revisit their chili which was a disaster before. I doubt that has changed since it’s all prepackaged and I got the dregs of the plastic bag before. Very average.

Nothing special. Mediocre food at an affordable price. I would never order take out from them again. On four different occasions, the food came to us at work either cold or missing any to everything on it. The cooks at that time of night either don’t care or are possibly doped out of their minds. Dining in is generally a different story, wait staff is usually friendly, semi attentive, and occasionally absent minded but pleasant. Food is very mediocre, the only thing worthwhile anymore I find is the fajitas. Not disappointing if you have low or no standards.

As a Georgetown resident I have eaten at this Chili’s location multiple times out of convenience. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me 15 times, extra shame on me. As a former restaurant worker for over 10 years, I am really understanding and try not to complain(much to the chagrin of my dining partners), but I don’t think I’ve been into this Chili’s location a SINGLE time in the last two years when the service has been close to good. Tables are often left dirty and un-bussed all around the dining room during both peak and off-peak hours. To-go orders are prepared using sub-quality products(over ripe avocados, or burnt chicken to name a few) and sometimes are completely missing items. The servers, while reasonably friendly, aren’t very attentive, have a generally disinterested look, and nearly every single time get something in my order or my party’s order incorrect. I’m not ordering anything complex either, just something simple like, «please put the sauce on the side» yet it comes out slathered all over everything. that’s just one example. I’ve also never been to a Chili’s location where it takes SO long to get a coke and an iced tea, or for a table to be cleaned to sit down. Meanwhile every staff member in the building seem to all perpetually have something exceedingly important to be watching on the bar tvs or talking about next to the computers. When I first started in the restaurant business my father told me this: «no one in this industry makes money by going home early.» The service and management staff at this Chili’s location could take a lesson from that comment. The tables and orders you get at the end of the night still deserve a good experience if you want to get a good tip. Gratuity is paid for receiving a SERVICE, not for the lack of. If I have to get up to refill my own tea from a pitcher, then something is inherently wrong with this arrangement. The sad part is, this location will likely never feel the need to change its standards of service because it is located so near to rec sports parks and a university that people(like my former self) will still come in because its easier than doing anything else. For me, however, I can not in good conscience return to give the Georgetown Chili’s a 20th chance to stop sucking. I can happily go across the street to Applebee’s which is open later, has $ 1 Ziegenbock beers, and treats me like a human no matter if I’m there at 5pm or 9pm.

I have always considered Chili’s as OK to Good, so, I don’t eat there often. I had a gift card given to me and on a day that I had a lot to do, I stopped to eat at the location in Round Rock at the Outlet Mall. On the menu they were featuring a new line of Mexican Food dishes and I ordered the 3 cheese enchiladas with ancho sauce, rice and refried beans. Unlike most Tex Mex joints that I like, there was no free chips and salsa brought to the table. When the entrée arrived I was first impressed with the huge portion on a gigantic plate that was hotter than Hades. After waiting for the dish to cool to a manageable temp, I tasted the rice first. Excellent! Not really Spanish rice, more of an interior Mexico style rice. Large grained rice with the right amount of oil(butter?) carrots, peas, spices, etc. Next was the moment of truth. Three cheese enchiladas topped with a dark, reddish brown ancho sauce. WOW. I was totally surprised at the flavor, texture and the cheese blend. I am not really a fan of Complete surprise that Chili’s did something a little different than Tex Mex joints and made it their own. I do tire of some of the regular Tex Mex places in Austin and Round Rock(and there are some really good ones) so Chli’s has a great alternative that is a little familiar(smokey ancho sauce) and a little interior(Mexican style rice). By the time I finished this meal I really didn’t care that there was no salsa or chips on the table.

We had lunch here after church today and loved our meal and service. I had the crispy chicken tenders. I didn’t want the corn on the cob so our server, Debra, asked if I would like broccoli and I said yes. Fries and corn are just too much starch for me. The broccoli was seasoned just right for me and I lived the crispy chicken. My husband had the chicken honey chipolte crispers and he loved them. He ordered black beans instead of corn and he loved them. I’m usually pretty picky when I spend money eating out so I don’t give everyplace 4 stars. Just ask the manager at BJ’s. Our server, Debra was very good and friendly. We even had a nice talk with the manager.

Started with a nice Presidente Margarita, then when my burger showed it was all wrong. I seen better car wrecks! The bar tender was quick to respond, and fixed the problem. All is good.

We’ve lived off of 1431 for 18 years. We decided to drive to the Chilis in Georgetown after having way too many below par experiences at the Cedar Park Chili’s location. Bad decision, terrible time all the way around. My wife, son and I went to celebrate his 16th birthday. When we entered through the bar area, we stared at by three of the staff without any hello, only murmuring and subtle smirks. At the entrance to the restaurant section, one of the staff that was in the bar area walked up and tried to steer us back into the bar area to eat. I said no, a booth is what I want. He said they also served in the bar area. I again said no, I wanted a booth, why did he not seem to want us in the restaurant section? He ignored that, said no problem, and showed us to a booth. Very unprofessional and frankly, weird… The rest of the time we were there he was extremely inattentive as far as his service. I ordered the baby back ribs. The ribs he brought out were awful, tough and stale, as if they had been cooked maybe during the lunch hour and were being served now(6:30 pm.). Absolutely terrible. When I called the waiter over, he said«Oh…», and asked if I wanted another order. No apologies, nothing. I asked to speak to the manager. He rolled his eyes and said, «Okay.» Five or six minutes later the manager shows and I explained to him the ribs were unacceptable and how could the cook send out such obviously bad food. He apologized that ‘I felt that way’ and said they took pride in their food. Since I had only taken two bites out of one of the ribs with the rest of the rack untouched, I invited him to have a bite. He declined and magnanimously proclaimed I would not have to pay for the ribs. I ended the conversation with the fact that we drove to this Chilis because the Cedar Park location had been so below par the last few times we had gone. He again apologized and hoped we would give his Chilis another chance in the future, that he had only fairly recently taken over the Georgetown location and was still in the process of putting his own mark on things. Whatever. As to my son’s birthday, even though the waiter was told by my wife when we were being shown to our booth it was his birthday, nothing was done by the wait staff. To this point, I will say the Cedar Park location always came out and sang Happy Birthday when we went in the past. Needless to say, we’ll never go back.

I think by now most people are aware of what to expect at a Chili’s. The food is typically the same everywhere you go. I think what made this trip above average was the service we received from Laura. She did a fantastic job. She was super on top of all of our needs.

I’ve been going to Chili’s for years here in GTown… what can you say? It’s Chili’s, it doesn’t change or sway from the norm and no one bothers you.
