This place was conveniently placed where there were no McDonald’s/Wendy’s etc. around. It kind of «forced» me to make a sacrifice and stop here instead. Two super hungry kids! I honestly haven’t been to a BK in a long time and now I remember why. I spent almost $ 10 for two orders of their chicken fries and two apple juices. Ridiculous. The lady taking the order needed me to repeat it over and over. And when I finally got my order — everything was cold. My kids ate a few pieces but even their hunger couldn’t force them to stomach this cold and awful meal. I mean, not that fast food is great in general, but I can sometimes luck out and get them to eat some nuggets before I can get them home. Not this time. Awful awful awful. Does anyone even enjoy eating BK anymore?

I’m so sick of very sub par food, long waits, and mixed up orders at these places. I’m not expecting a gourmet experience, but it would be nice to be given decent food, in a reasonable amount of time, and above all what I order in the first place. I can’t tell you how many times, including this place I’ll give a simple order, it gets repeated back I verify, get asked again, and repeat my order, only to get it the wrong order! People who cannot listen carefully don’t belong in a job as an order taker! It’s like they just don’t care, it’s whatever. Sorry, but nothing is wrong with the money I’m paying for the food. Today was the last straw, after waiting for 15 minutes in the drive thru, getting only a whopper meal, no tomato, with a coffee, three creams, and an extra chicken sandwich. I finally get to the window, get handed a cold fountain drink, ask to get a coffee, wait another five minutes and get a COLD coffee. I could feel it through the cup, that’s how cold it was! I’m like this is cold, she goes, you want me to microwave it! I was like no, forget it, are you kidding me, I’m only on lunch break have now wasted 20 minutes in a not so busy drive-thru, and she wants to give me old reheated coffee so I can wait another five minutes, Really?! I am now suggesting to all these fast food places take your staff on a «field trip» down the street to «Flips» it’s been there for years, it’s always great service, with well done food, and they have never gotten an order wrong for me in the more then 15 years I’ve been a customer. Judging by their constant flow of customers, I’d say most folks have the same experience! I don’t go there all the time because sometimes just want to drive thru some where for a quick lunch. Anyway, I would say, don’t bother to go to Burger King in Glen Ellyn, or for that matter the MacDonalds on Roosevelt either, they’re worse!

May be the worst service in DuPage County. In the past year I have twice left the drive through line with only 1 car in front of me because of the elongated wait.

They have really good break fast sandwich. The service is good. They are always there to see if you would need something.

I tried a smoothie and though it tasted good, throughout the smoothie there were pieces of plastic– like the plastic baggie covering a plastic spoon, or something like that. It was very weird and mixed throughout. Very disappointing. The person who helped me in the drive thru seemed pretty unhappy to be working there. One thing I did learn is that they make their salads to order– I appreciate this because I don’t like cheese and it seems like I can never order a fast food salad without cheese because they are already made.

Dirty, ambivilent staff and mediorce food. What happened to the once mighty king that was destined to topple McDonalds as the choice for fast food? The place was filthy, despite a slow day none of the staff seemed interested in running a rag over the dining tables or even a quick broom on the floor. The chicken fries satisfied the kids, bu the namesake Whopper was microwaved despite new burgers coming off the broiler. Why? Why use a stack of burgers in a tray, when you could have used a fresh cooked one instead. The better half ordered the new sealed salad. Haven’t seen that many wilted greens since the last trip to the compost pile. The tomatoes were MOLDY! When she returned it, the clerk gave her a snarl and a new sealed salad with a date that expired 3 days ago. Needless to say she didn’t eat it. JK should focus on what once made them great-fresh burgers at reasonable prices. Try Portillos if you want a burger that is truly king.
