We came here after doing the North Pole Train in North Conway. We drove past it a few times over the weekend, so we decided to try it out after seeing how crowded all the places in North Conway looked. This is a perfect place to go with kids! The people working there were so friendly and warm. We all enjoyed our spaghetti but what I liked the best was the garlic butter that came out with the bread. Nothing was fancy, just classic pasta with different kinds of sauces! Good option if you’re staying in the area, if you want some simple and yummy pasta.

We were from out of town and ended up ordering from here for pizza for us and our two kids. The bbq chicken pizza was really, really good — I just didn’t pay attention to the 10″ pizza thing! They’re tiny! The pizzas are really small pizzas, not good to share between more than two people. I ordered garlic bread — it was a loaf of bread(like I could get at any supermarket) and a little container of garlic butter — I guess I thought they’d at least toast the bread?! The ceasar salad dressing was more tart than we care for but the larger problem was that was asked for a «family» size salad — it served for a small salad for three of us. Normally this size salad(similar to take out containers we are used to) would serve two people healthy portions of salad. The cheese pizza and the bbq chicken pizza were tasty but tiny.

Stopped into this spaghetti joint while on vacation with my family in this area. My little daughter convinced me to give it a try with the rest of our family. It was a very simple place for simple fare. No rocket science what will please a child’s pallet. The portion size was controlled by the size dish you prefer. The atmosphere was blah. The service was good. The dishes we ordered were alright, nothing special. I had the Chicken Marsala over spaghetti. My kids had the usual spaghetti with meatballs. To be honest, they could have improvements to this menu by doing a few simple things for a pasta joint like: if your going to base your business on pasta, give people more choice of pastas noodles, like ziti, rigatoni, Rotelli, linguine etc. I also felt they could have used a lot more fresh ingredients in their dishes. Where was any fresh herbs also like fresh basil. If I had use of the land that this establishment sits on, I’d be growing a Victory Garden for fresh herbs & vegetables to be added daily to my dishes. My Marsala had canned mushrooms in it !!! Lastly & most importantly, they should make homemade pasta instead of commercial grade spaghetti. It was very evident it was commercial. I grew up in an Italian area & they would NOT get away serving this up. I’d pay more gladly in a Resturant for homemade fresh pasta. It may not matter much for the local crowd, but it did for me.

Went here on recommendation from the motel we were staying at. The food was okay. I ordered a hotdog for my daughter which came so cold and seemed like it was not even cooked. When I received my pasta it was also not very hot. The past at and sauce itself were good, just wished the food was hot when it arrived.

After a long day on the notch train we thought spaghetti shed sounded good so we did takeout. I tried their chicken cacciatore which was so good, really fresh vegetables and you can tell the difference in the local products they use as opposed to store bought. The pasta is cooked perfect and everything came out really hot. They are a little pricey but we enjoy it.

Second time visiting and dining at Joe’s spaghetti shed in Bartlett. The pasta portion is huge. The bread is hot and fresh. Service was a little slow this time around, but the food is good and prices are decent for the area.

I’ve been coming to the Spaghetti Shed on and off for a few years. It’s décor is nothing special(no surprise since it’s called a Shed), but the family atmosphere, incredible fresh bread with garlic butter, and hearty pasta dishes make it worth a visit. Unique among the more generic North Conway area restaurants, the shed has a fun family history and is unpretentious in its wide array of spaghetti-based dishes and checkered table cloths. Come in for delicious if not incredible food, great service, and a room full of other casual diners enjoying each other’s company.

Hello. I am a stereotypical American who enjoys large-sized half-priced meals. I love this place. or Hello. I am a picky food snob who has been spoiled by the North End in Boston for too many years. I had an ok time at this place. Ding Ding Ding!!! Ugh — I always thought I wouldn’t fall to food snobery lows… but, here I am. The mysterious Spaghetti Shed has given me many a giggle for many a year. In January of 20 – 15, we finally put a taste to the name fame and stopped in for dinner. Please note… the hours on the«website»(ie: blog: ) say«Closing time varies depending on how busy we are… but, always open ’til at least 8». So, if it’s early evening, you may want to call to check what their plan is(I kinda got to hand it to them… I wish I could just work until I wasn’t too busy and then just leave). Fortunately for us, Saturday night around 530, the place was bustling and we *just* got in(table for two) before a party of eight arrived(big apres ski spot). The atmosphere: quintessential no-frills North Country; plastic printed table clothes, hanging mismatched lanterns, and drafty as hell(frozen hell… let it go). The tables wobbled, the floor was laminate tile, and the service was EXCELLENT(possibly the happiest waiter of all time). A note on the menu: get the pasta. «But I’m in the mood for…» — no. Stop. Get the pasta. And while you’re at it: get the«small» which is a plate larger than your head mascaraing as a 12oz serving. That’s two meals for $ 10(you and your date could split it! Or you could be like me and take the rest home as leftovers that you’ll slurp down in the car). For sauces: Marinara, Bolognese, House Sauce, Red Mushroom, Red Clam, White Clam, Alfredo, Tomato Cream, or… just spaghetti with butter(if this is you, you’re weird). The alfredo was pretty good, but hella heavy(but then, what does one expect from a cream-based sauce — — - YUM). If you’re more into a special: get the Spaghetti Combo(2 meatballs and a sausage with marinara, bolognese or house sauce — — - they serve it to you smiling, which is disturbing and humorous [and delicious] all at once). EITHERWAY — — - make sure, absolutely positive, 100% that you get a serving of the homebaked bread with garlic butter. By «bread» they don’t mean no stinkin’ puny SLICE or ROLL… They mean a friggin’ LOAF of warm Italian bread. Yes, you can take the rest home with you. Yes, you will fight yourself to break a hunk off in the car and clumsily smear the garlic butter on while trying not to run into a moose on 16. …it will be worth it. For dessert, I had heard about their famed pies… but i guess winter isn’t the time to try this out as there were only two flavors(apple or peanut butter — neither of which I am a fan). You can’t purchase a whole pie on the spot, either — but you CAN order them in advance(thanks, Spaghetti Shed!). The pie was«meh» — I found the apple to be undercooked for my taste and the crust was nothing to write home about(pie snob), but the $ 5 serving was like to smallish pieces so a good deal for families looking to share. In the end… is this a hot spot for a romantic dinner where you’ll pop the question? …no(for the love of GAHD please no… unless you want that Spaghetti Combo to be served in a frowny face). Is this a good stop for large parties looking for a casual meal? Yeah, definitely. The price is right, the parking is tight, and the spaghetti is never-ending. Carbo-load up, my friends!

Great family restaurant! We have been going to the White mountains for years but only recently discovered this place upon traveling to Attitash this summer. Must have just driven right by it it every time we went skiing in the winter. We have four children who loved the pasta dishes. Portions are huge, food is good, service is very friendly and efficient. The spaghetti dishes are cooked perfectly and the bolognese sauce was excellent. Certainly not a place for a romantic dinner but for a family coming back from skiing or Storyland it’s perfect!

Best food in the White Mountains! The staff is wonderful and the food is even better. How this place only gets 3 stars is beyond me. The spaghetti is some of the best I have ever had, and the bread with homemade garlic butter is delicious. The small portion is more than enough for one, and both the meatballs and sausage are great. Can’t wait to dine here again!

Great food and for the amount reasonably priced. Would go back again. Only down side would be you need to go right when they open or later in the evening as they get very busy very fast. We got there right after they opened and were seated right away

A gem. Wonderful bread, right out of the oven. Garlic butter we loved. Spag.sauce and meatballs very good(12 and 18 ounces are offered), we both ate 12. Wine and beer offerings are ordinary. Service OK. House sauce was Not Boring, but had canned mushrooms, when a mushroom farm is .3 miles away, quite disappointing. Still, a good find. And recommended.

This place was ok but nothing special. The portions are huge but it’s not exactly cheap either. The house sauce was very bland. I had to add grated cheese to give it some flavor. We did takeout since the place looked like it was packed.

We stopped in after a long day of skiing we were starving and this little place was the only thing open for miles. Expected it to be at least an average dinner. I was surprised, some of the best Italian food I’ve had in years, these guys rival almost anything I found in the north end of Boston! Incredibly pleasant surprise, and every time we are in the area we always plan a dinner there, the food is great!

Joseph’s had seating when all other restaurants had a wait of at least 45 minutes on a Saturday night after skiing. Our hosts had eaten here several times before and knew what to expect but we were not certain. Overall the meals were good and everyone left happy. Our server Laura was very good and offered good advice when asked. Since I am gluten free, the selections at the SPAGHETTI Shed were understandably limited, but there were some reasonable offerings. My Italian Chicken was good with tasty marinara sauce and lots of melted cheese. My wife’s chicken and broccoli had very little chicken. Yet the Caesar salad with chicken had a lot. The kids all liked the spaghetti and meatballs. My expectations were met but not exceeded at Joseph’s. A good Italian spot when you have that urge.

After hiking to the top of Mt Washington and back down, this was a wonderful meal for the 4 of us to get our strength back. Dinner & drinks with Tip was $ 100, service is outstanding, Erik was our server. We had the Alfredo, House sauce, Sausage & Broccoli(my favorite) all over perfectly cooked spaghetti. One more thing, the meat lovers pizza is a perfect appetizer with the Greek salad!

Good service and decent food. Family friendly. Would go again. Its not upscale, but they aren’t trying to be either. Everything taste home made, which is more then allot of places can say these days. Family of four ate for about 50 bucks, with drinks. Portions were large!
