Other than the impatient waitress I felt like ducktaping, the food was very good for typical New York diner standards. Had a philly cheese steak with cheese fries and a vanilla milkshake. It was the only place to eat at Atlas on Christmas day.

I will NEVER again step into another location. My friends and I had a long day and we headed over here to eat and have a good time. Long story short, THEREWAS A ROACHSWIMMINGINMYFOOD! That roach thought it was Sebastian and was literally singing Under the Sea! It was having a blast while singing on its back! either that or it was swimming for its life while floating in canned jalapeño juice. Seriously?! ROACHESINFOOD?! COMEON! Shouldn’t the manager come right away? No. I had to scream for the manager. Who in their right mind will not scream? I’m surprised at myself for not puking all over the table. AVOIDTHISPLACE! yes. My boyfriend and I caught food poisoning from this place. Shit how could we not? The roach probably pissed, puked, shitted and had sex all over the food they serve! This place has forever caused me to be very afraid of trying new places to eat. Thanks a lot, Johnny Roaches. I loved food.

Great location — perfect spot to grab a bite before or after a movie(granted it’s early enough of course). It’s convenient… but I would probably walk a little further and head to the Chili’s if I craved a burger and fries. Service there is better– can be slow at times, but not as slow as THIS location. It was SO slow here, like agonizing. One tuna melt, one burger, sodas, and fries. Pretty simple. But it took 30 – 45 minutes, and it wasn’t even busy or crowded enough to warrant that wait. Plus, once the waiter came and took our order, we got our drinks shortly after, and then he disappeared. Not a good experience. The tuna melt was OK, but the bread was too buttery. Atlas Park, paid parking. And… that’s it.

Actually 4.5 stars*** only because I wish the waitress was a little more attentive, she was very nice & everything but everytime we needed her, we couldnt get a hold of her, it would take us a little while. But anyways, the food was good, i got the crispy chicken club salad with balsamic dressing & it was soo good, a good size for one person too, i was full. My boyfriend ordered a burger with french fries(it was a specific type of burger but we cant remember the name, sorry!), he said it was very good. We both ordered lemonades & everything came out to 30 $ & change. A bit pricey for a salad & a burger meal but whatever.

Where should I start… I’ve been to this location 3 times so far, it’s always been ok, nothing to rave about, but today made me give up on this place permanently. Our server«Ray» looked annoyed the entire time. He messed up our orders, the burgers were extremely greasy & we couldn’t even enjoy our UNLIMITED fries we ordered. Reason being, once one of our guests finished her food, he removed the plate and brought the bill(mind you all other guests still had their food, half way done). He then comes back to the table 5 minutes later saying«are you ready to pay». We found that so rude! So I asked him why he brought us the bill? He didn’t even ask if we wanted anything else. His response was that its policy of Johnny Rockets to give the bill once one person finishes. It makes no sense to me and I explained how rude it came off as if he was trying to rush us out. He then starts arguing with me! Unreal. You’re not supposed to treat your guests that way… To make things even worse he made it a whole lot more uncomfortable afterwards because he starts complaining about it to all of his coworkers right in front of our face! Making hand gestures and imitating me. He made it pretty obvious that he had a problem with us, therefore we couldn’t enjoy the rest of our food and we left. Extremely unprofessional. They need to train their staff a lot better. Never coming back to this establishment. A sorry excuse for Johnny Rockets.

Great food and even better service. The atmosphere is very fun and the waiters make sure you have a great time. The Manager, Amanda, keeps a tight running ship, her hospitality is impeccable, she made the experience all the more worth while. Cant wait to go back to Johnny rockets at atlas.

This place hit the spot. Johnny Rockets is located in Atlas Mall in Queens. Surrounded by retail shops and right by the entrance for a theater. They also have a nice outdoor seating. Inside the theme is 50s retro diner. Very fun atmosphere. I ordered ‘The Original’ burger, with fries, and a chocolate banana shake. The burger was very juicy itself. Not dry at all. Fries were, fries. The milkshake was spot on too. Great place for when you want a juicy burger and a milkshake.

This is another burger restaurant that I can’t get enough of. I love the bread that they use for all of their burgers. I also like their cheese fries, even though I can tell that they change the cheese on the cheese fries sometimes. Their shakes are of course well known and also really good. I also do love the little dance numbers they do like every 30 minutes.

I’ve been going to Johnny Rockets for many years now. Normally I have a good experience. I even enjoy when the staff breaks out into dance(they dance to old time jingles). However I did not have a good experience at this location. This location is like the others, with a classic 60’s diner décor. They are located in the Atlas Mall(near the movie theater), so there is plenty of(paid) parking. We arrived a little over an hour before they closed. The manager greeted us at the door, he was polite and seated us right away. Unfortunately, that was the last we saw of him. Then when the waitress came, she seemed bothered she would have to serve one more table. We were a party of six, but with only five eating… The fries came out well before the food, they wanted to shut down the frier. The problem with that was when the food eventually came, we had pretty much finished the fries. Then when we asked for a refill on the fries it took forever… my food had gotten cold by the time the refills came. To make it worse, every time we asked the waitress about the fries(or anything else for that matter) she responded with a condescending remark. Another good thing to know is they charge 18% gratuity on parties of 6 or more… even in my case, when six people are seated but only five eat… go figure… I give them 2 stars only because the food was ok… nothing special… Long story short, I would NOT recommend this location to others :( Happy Unilocaling :)

Food is not the same as other better Johnny Rocket locations. The restaurant is also very run down and the food area is messy. Just average.

Food was just ok. Got here near closing time I did not check their hours. Food brought out quickly. Waitress was not so great. We ordered unlimited fries but when we requested refills they were not ready. They took a very long time to cook. The waitress said I don’t want to give them to you raw. Finally got the fries. Waitress comes by and says the entire kitchen is closed so I won’t be able to bring you anything else. Got the bill a 15 percent gratuity was added. I like to determine and I don’t feel it’s up to this restaurant to do so. Place seemed clean and had a 50 theme. There’s a lot room for improvement.

The only thing that this low quality burger joint has is the nostalgia themed cues. By far the worst food and value per dollar. If you like salty, greasy and truck stop fair, you came to the right place. Located in the Atlas mall, Glendale Queens. Please avoid this place, your kids will thank you for it later. My granddaughter wanted to go to the Glendale diner, but I thought this would be better because of the 50’s look. Boy was I wrong. Kids meal and a tiny philly cheese steak sandwich and soda $ 29. I wanted to give this grease pit minus stars, but one star is the lowest option. To be a bit fair, the help is well mannered and the entertainment(singing staff to oldies) is cool.

Every time I come here is an issue with either food or service. Last time all the food delivered to the table was cold(the French fries were especially cold and onion rings were soooo soggy.) My latest visit found me waiting ten minutes for a glass of water… And there are only two other tables eating in the entire restaurant. Even after I had to ask for water I observed the waitress talking before filling the cups and continuing her convo after. I had to shout across the restaurant to remind her that she should cut the convo and bring my water. All the staff stand and talk in groups behind the counter. The cook is not even watching the food he’s cooking because his back is turned away from the grill as he talks to one of the female employees… if you’re going to talk at least be efficient at whatever you’re supposed to be doing. My burger arrived burnt it was supposed to be medium, probably because the cook had his back to the grill the entire time he was making my order. He accidentally put my beef burger on the bun for the turkey patty melt and cut through it. Then our waitress had to tell him to switch the patties because the order would have been wrong. The turkey patty melt that was ordered was not made like it usually is. The food was not good this time… The ketchup at our table was empty. The waitress didn’t bring the ranch sauce that comes with the onion rings, I had to ask for it. The water taste like toilet water. Not ONCE did our waitress come over to the table to ask how the food was. I only come here because it’s next to the movie theater(literally five feet away) and convenient. It’s just not worth it otherwise.

I am officially giving up on this place. I’ve been here three times and each time something goes wrong. It is not cool to spend my hard earned money and continually leave the place with a feeling of regret. Next time I’ll be trying the German place next door. The patrons there seemed a lot happier.

Go here with my friend and kids for the shakes. The shakes are pretty awesome most of the time but can be watery at times. Turkey burgers are good. The biggest issue I have is the time it takes to be seated. It’s obvious that they can handle a small crowd. Walked in with my kids and was told I had to wait 15 minutes, but the place had only a few guests. It looked like they were understaffed. How are you understaffed on a Saturday evening?
