If you want to spend your time biking rather than fixing a bike I would recommend renting elsewhere. My brother and I rented two bikes to go mountain biking with our dad while I was in town. Neither bike would shift gears smoothly. Both of us ended up having to hop off on most up hills because the chain would pop completely off the gears when we tried to shift into a lower gear for a climb.
My brother’s bike fared better than mine though, as my chain snapped in half entirely about 5 miles into the trail. I ended up having to walk my bike out another 3 miles or so. there was an extra intertube in the bike pack but no extra chain.
When I brought the bikes back I explained that neither bike functioned well and one of them broke entirely. The guy working the counter seemed to suggest that the chain broke under intense climbing conditions and disne seem to think it was an issue. Having biked in both Texas and Colorado affair mount I can tell you that Grapevine Texas does not have intense mountain climbing conditions. His response was, «ok thanks we’ll see what we can do to fix them.» I asked if I could get my money back. He walked inside and I followed. He went to the register and started pulling out cash. He gave me the rental fee for one of the bikes back. I asked why I was only getting half back, and he said only one of them broke. I responded that neither of them worked and it was simply a matter of time that only one of them broke as opposed to both. He didn’t say anything else and I walked out frustrated and disappointed in the service I got.
So I give them 1 star because he did refund my money on one of the bikes. But I would not go back to this place again, especially if you have a limited amount of time and you expect your bike to work when you’re out on the trail. I certainly did not intend to pay to rent a bike that had to be walked out of the trail or that could not shift gears on a climb.

Went in with a crack front dérailleur hanger on my Giant road bike. Guys had one in stock. Installed and on the road again in 15 minutes. Good service. Techs could be a little friendlier but really great service otherwise.

Great friendly service staff and reasonable prices. I brought my almost assembled road bike in hoping they would fix my mistakes and finish the job. One of the shifters was inoperable (due to my fault or factory fault still not known), and the owner personally called me to talk about it. He called shimano and got a new one asap and sent the other one back without me having to raise a finger. That’s the kind of service I appreciate and what makes them my new local bike shop. Thanks guys!
