I’ve been going to this Subway for years and they’re always so friendly. I went in today to order a foot long and the lady who made my sandwich was so polite and nice(wish I knew her name!) Service is always quick. Never had a bad experience here!

I eat at this Subway at least once a week and in general I eat at Subway restaurants almost everywhere I go 2 – 3 times weekly(for a healthy lifestyle) so I consider myself somewhat of a Subway connoisseur. This is by far the best Subway that I have eaten at. The employees are very-very friendly and their wheat bread tends to be softer than the other Subways that I go to… that might be a small thing for others, but for me it’s a big deal. The food always seems fresh and I have never had an issue with cleanliness. I am sure the place gets dirty, but I have never been uncomfortable or grossed out eating there. I have eaten here for breakfast, lunch and dinner and have to say that the food is always fresh and it is better than what I have come to expect out of other Subways that I go to in my travels. What really makes this Subway great for me and the reason I am a loyal customer is due to the kind and courteous service. Vel, the manager, always has a smile on her face and is always genuinely interested in how my day has been. George and Bert are just as nice and they too always serve with a smile. I am sure there are problems that I may over look, but as someone that eats Subway all the time and has been to Subways just about everywhere(Chicago, Grayslake, Montana, Ireland etc.) I can honestly say this is my favorite. A close second is the Subway in Deerfield on Waukegan road(next to the Jewel at Waukegan and Lake Cook).

I went to this Subway twice for lunch. Both times the food tasted as expected. Both times the same two employees were working the lunch rush. There were only two of them so needless to say, it took a while to get my food(although the first time I was there it was quicker than I would have expected). On my second visit, they were very backed up. I was with two other people and one of them ordered his sub toasted. It wasn’t toasted by the time he got it. The employees kept making sandwiches, but they let them pile up before ringing them up. That was torture! I could see my finished sandwich right in front of my face, but I couldn’t have it. When we finally got our food, we sat at a table near the window. I promptly noticed there were multiple dead flies on the window sill. This was during the winter. I’ll give you a little slack if it’s summer and you want to open the doors or wndows to let fresh air in, but in the winter it’s a different story. When I say there were mulitple dead flies I mean there were clusters of dead bugs all along the window sill. I think it is worth the five minute drive to go to the Subway just down the street.
