If I could give zero stars I would… The service and cocktails are not good. We ordered 3 titos on the rocks, they were all different sizes, not the glass, the actual pours! When we asked the waitress said… «Don’t shoot the messenger» I asked for a bone dry martini to maybe get a bigger pour and no one knew how to make it. I ended up with a dirty martini. The food was ok but we had no napkins/silverware etc… Do yourself a favor and skip this place! Even if starving yay walk across the street! This is my first wtf review and I feel bad but it’s just that bad.

Ate dinner there tonight. Husband had burger and salad, I had fajita salad. Food was very good. Service was terrible. I knew the menu better after reading it once than the waitress did. She was surly and slow. After finishing our meal we waited about 10 minutes for her to come back around. We asked for the check and was promised she would be right back with it. We waited about 15 minutes for her to return. She threw the bill on the table and said she was slammed with 3 other tables. They were not that busy.

I went against my better judgement after reading the reviews on here. We regretted it immediately. A few hints to J Butlers’ from someone who used to work in the restaurant industry: When there is a giant concert for several nights a few miles away, have more than your normal Sunday night staff working. Also, don’t ignore someone at the hostess station for 15 minutes, walk over, tell them you just need to clean a table, have someone else walk over and claim it’s a 20 minute wait and then have ANOTHER person(a manager!!) walk over and tell us it’s a 45 minute wait… especially when there are multiple tables open. My shrimp salad came out with a few overcooked popcorn shrimp thrown on some bagged salad without any extras. The waiter was in such a rush, he threw our food on the table, spilling my dressing, my husband’s dressing, and my friend’s chili(which she sent back because it looked like it had been sitting out for a few hours). We never got our waters refilled and my husband had to stalk our waiter at the bar to get us our checks. The waiter looked at him, ignored him, and walked right past him to another table. When he finally did show up to our table, before we could say anything, he took my husband’s hardly touched food before he was finished with it! I had to yell to have him bring it back. Never again. Not when there is a Ham’s down the street that never disappoints or 10 other restaurants that won’t act like we’re a bother when we show up with money to spend.

Three stars solely for the services of the wait staff. I stayed in the attached hotel and ate dinner here my first night in town, and had the breakfast buffet two mornings, and ordered off the breakfast menu one morning. I will list my meals in order. Dinner– burger and fries. Super big burger, didn’t even finish it, and fries were okay. Burger was standard for a bar, but nothing to write home about. Breakfast buffet– my take here is what hotel buffet is good? Not to many, however these meals were around $ 15! To me I at least expect hot food for $ 15. Not that the food wasn’t in the hot pans, but by the time I walked back to the table my warm food was cold. Nothing special for selection just the average sausage, bacon, watery eggs, English muffin selection. However I have paid less for better hotel breakfasts in majors cities in the US and abroad, so I guess this lead to my disappointment. Breakfast menu– I ordered an omelet, which was okay considering everything else I tried here.

This is the restaurant in the Double Tree hotel. I was there on business and stopped in at lunchtime three days in a row. I sat at the bar and was served by a stunningly beautiful bartender/waitress. She had worked there over five years and knew her stuff. Each day I visited the place was very busy. That’s interesting and a good sign as there are countless places to eat and drink surrounding it. Each day customer service was a little slow as it seems to be slightly understaffed. The folks I saw were working their butts off. Management take note. The atmosphere is dark wood and typical for a hotel. The food is also typical hotel food. My food was A-OK and the prices were routine. A decent house wine, at least at lunch was inexpensive at around $ 4. I’d stop in again in a heartbeat, especially if I was staying at the hotel.

Lunch was abysmal, with a side of great service. Just junk. Breakfast on the other hand was quite good, the biscuits were surprisingly fluffy, and even though thin, the bacon was cooked just right. They could add to the buffet and it would be awesome. Again, the service was very good.

I thought it was pretty good. People are nice and friendly, food was good. I’m not sure what people are expecting. I’ll be back next furniture show and plan to get friend bologna sandwich and chips again.

Nothing to write home about. The only thing I can really give them props on is their French Onion soup. Otherwise the food is just ok, and the breakfast buffet pretty hotel standard.

Boring;bland and non adventurous. Reminds me of a holiday inn menu… coincidentally it’s connected to a doubletree hotel and that convenience is what brought me in. If chicken wings and salads are your thing, this might be your place. Had breakfast buffet also… pretty standard… it was free from the hotel so I capitalized. Nothing to write home about and no reason to recommend. Servers were friendly on 2 slow occasions.

Visited this place on Saturday, 3⁄17. It was not too pleasant. The food was mediocre and the service was lacking. Perhaps our server was not feeling well or had some personal issues, as we were barely waited on at all. I hope he is alright, but he really should not have been working this past Saturday, from what I can tell. I don’t plan to return to this restaurant.

I went here on a short stay in the Greensboro area. The restaurant is attached to the Double Tree Hotel next door. I got the grilled tuna sandwich which was okay, the tuna was definitely a little over cooked but still tasted pretty good. It came with a choice of sides so I decided to get the baked beans which were okay, but not the best I ever had. One of my friends got the half rack of ribs which looked very good, definitely fall off the bone quality. My other friend got the crab cake sandwich which she seemed to enjoy a lot, however the pasta salad side that came with it, wasn’t very good according to her. Overall the place isn’t bad and there are plenty of beer specials. If you work for the airlines, make sure to ask for the discount. Lastly, the one dollar beers come in an 8 oz. cup, not the pint glass, so don’t be surprised when you get the bill after having a few pints.
