Denny’s

I had stayed away from Dennys restaurants for years because of the one in Manassas, Virginia. Decided to go to the one in Greenville, NC, and so glad i did… what a difference! My experience this morning has been great! My waitress Collisa was over the top good. It’s been a long time since I’ve had such good service.

As you may know, I am mostly a local eatery type of guy. However, I was taken here by my wife’s uncle. Great service and very welcoming atmosphere. Not a bad spot to grab a quick and cheap breakfast. I was surprised by the many gluten free options.

The service was slow but it was packed with a big breakfast crowd but other than that when I did get waited on the staff was excellent almond with the good Denny’s food!!! I’ll definitely return!!!

I asked for a minor tweak to a menu item which caused a 20 minute delay because the manager wasn’t sure which button to press.
Even more outstanding was that it ended up being disgusting anyways.

I went to Greenville, NC location today, (Feb 2^nd, 2014). I am usually very pleased with everything, and am a frequent customer, but something was wrongtoday. I had to wait a long time to be seated, and then waited to be served, then waited a long time for my order, and then had to wait for silverware and the rest of my order. When I did get my order it was over cooked. Then I waited so long to get my check that I decided to get dessert… but that never came at all! After having been there over one and one half hours, I finally gave up and left. I don’t know what the problem was today, because they are usually so good, but I was not pleased. I am not trying to make trouble for them, but it was realy bad today.

This place is terrible. One of the worst Denny’s ever! The service is so bad that I can not understand how they are in business! We went in at 6pm and waited 25 minutes before a server came over. We left and I called to speak with a manager and spoke with Ashley who offered to take care of our next bill when we came in later that night. I ordered the Pot Roast and when it arrived to the table, it was cold! I sent it back only to get the same plate back after they put it in the microwave. I use to be in the food service business and that in its self is a health violation! Then when we went to leave, they tried to charge us $ 16.00 for food that Ashley said they would take care of. The GM argued with me and my party for 15 min over $ 16. That place is not a place I will ever set foot in again. Take my advice and stay clear! Also, the GM lied and told me that he was the «owner» and then said that he was just a GM. I only gave one star because you have to give something. I rate a NO GO –10 stars!

Prompt courteous service. Great place for pancakes. Banana pecan pancakes and country fried steak for breakfast are so good !!!

We have been to lots of Denny’s Rest. across the country, but, this is the best. Great food, good service and friendly waitresses. Place 2 go if u have AARP card, 20% discount.
