Stopped by on a whim for a late evening treat after a long day of running errands. Often craving a Peanut Buster Parfait, but usually going without due to the unreasonable high cost of them, we decided to treat ourselves for a productive evening. Swung through the drive thru and ordered one each. $ 4.19 for 8 ounces of soft serve and hot fudge… or was it the peanuts that jacked the prices up :-) Oh well… we were eager to reward ourselves. As the PBP is passed through the window in the dark, I don’t see the missing ¼ of my ice cream. I eagerly accept the product as delivered… and left. Part way home, the street lights from Burnside reflect nicely in the car and I see my PBP… well, half of it! Those extended lids on the PBP apparently are no longer to keep the DQ spiraled ice cream in the cup. because our $ 4.19 ice cream treat didn’t even fill up ¾ of the container… I took photos of the«half air» overpriced treat. it was ridiculous. At home, I indulged on my ¾ treat… not as good as a full treat. but I was craving it. A polite email asking to discuss this issue was ignored… and ignored… and still being ignored!!! Resent the email today. We will see how long I hold onto this receipt before I email/call again. Seems like this place has customer service issues with the teens working… but as I have discovered, the«adults» aren’t proving to be different so far. Next time I will skip this one and head to the DQ in Sandy. A simple apology and«we will look into it» would have made a huge difference here… but they failed. Go elsewhere.

Every one was kind, the food was timely-though they were busy, the food was good-standard DQ, and the location was clean. 5 buck lunch, yeah! Chocolate cone for the treat. I was impressed. Thanks DQ Grill & Chill

Icecream and food are good. But the wait, especially for the drive through is almost always long. Been waiting for 2 cheeseburger meals for almost 15 minutes out front now. If you can, go to the one on Troutdale Road, much faster service.

Pass on by. No bueno! After our«wait out front» for drive thru order, they delivered a refrigerator cold cheeseburger. Like, literally that cold. I’ll power through many things but not a questionably cold meat and cheese from fast food. When I went to the door to let the kids that were running the place know, they waved for me to go back through the drive thru. Uh, no! Then several of the teenagers came to the door together and finally one opened the door, I told him the burger was very cold, and he said he would bring out another one. While we waited, the kids were staring and pointing at our car. The one kid came back a few minutes later with clearly a microwaved too hot burger. I should at least get my money back…

Ice cream isn’t that bad and the foods good. The customer service was awful. They look at you like you’re wasting their time! And when I was sitting down to eat with my friend I could hear them playing around and yelling. Very unprofessional.

Service is slow(could be due to the heat), employees need to work on their customer service at the window and focus on the customer instead of chatting it up with their coworkers.

Pretty much only ever done drivethru here, usually ordered the same stuff and usually in and out in a timely fashion. Haven’t had a problem with staff but then again, I haven’t been back for a few months. But this was our go-to for a quick cherry dipped cone. Personally, I’ve never bothered ordering food from here or eating there. I’m only going there for the cones or a blizzard and I’m taking that baby home with me.

I would honestly rather eat my own shit. It should be against the law to make burgers this awful. If you work here, just kill yourself.

I gave this place one star because zero stars was not an option. I went to this Dairy Queen last night to pick up a sundae for myself and my wife. 2 medium sundaes runs you $ 4.98; not bad at all. But I asked for your basic SUNDAE toppings(whipped cream, peanuts and a cherry) and suddenly the price went up to $ 8.52. $ 3.54 for whipped cream, peanuts and a cherry? What is the world coming to? You could buy almost an entire Peanut Buster Parfait for the cost of toppings on two sundaes. But that’s not the worst part. When I refused to pay $ 3.54 for whipped cream peanuts and cherry and said I would take two sundaes without those things if they were going to make me pay $ 3.54 for normal sundae toppings, the person at the drive-through rolled his eyes and proceeded to throw into the trash a sundae that he made with the whipped cream nuts and a cherry in order that I would not receive the toppings I hadn’t paid for. So he wasted MORE and lost a customer to boot. I recently moved from Troutdale to Gresham, and I will DEFINITELY make the extra 1.5 mile drive to the DQ in Troutdale, a MUCH friendlier, cleaner and customer service oriented place. I suggest you do the same. The chocolate ice cream at Gresham DQ is also gross and is much better at the Troutdale location. SKIPTHISDQ! Go to the one down the road on Stark and SE Troutdale Rd. They will treat you better and they won’t charge you the cost of a blizzard for sundae toppings.
