The service was overall very good, the food cooked well, good portion sizes, and the staff was pleasant and cheery, and more than happy to accommodate our table of 3 plus a one year old. The restaurant was very clean, and the background music was surprisingly with it — I caught a Fitz and the Tantrums track at one point. The only problem we had was that they overcooked my steak, I asked for medium but they made it well done. I was too hungry to complain and it wasn’t too tough to eat.

Red Lobster was disappointing. I got the $ 30 wood grill shrimp/salmon/lobster. The Salmon was alright, but the lobster and shrimp were way overcooked. I had to use both hands to pull the lobster meat apart into bite size pieces. The dessert was overpriced as well. No matter what the pic may show in the menu, one brownie with one scoop of ice cream should not cost $ 7.99. Two other ppl at my table also found their food to be overcooked. It’s too bad since there aren’t many places you can go in this town for lobster. The drinks were good at about $ 8.50 each. I had a Strawberry Margherita. Doubt I’ll be back anytime soon.

I really enjoyed my meal at Red Lobster. This was my first time there, and I really, really liked it. I had the Lobster Scampi Linguine. It was delicious! The lobster was perfect, flaky, flavorful, and succulent! The wine butter sauce was well-seasoned and perfect. I woke up the next day craving Red Lobster! It was delicious :) Definitely want to come back soon! The service was friendly and the place was very clean, too! Loved my dinner :)

I am here while writing review and it is terrible, my son still hasn’t got his drink, waited 15 minutes to order, no romaine lettuce(go to the store!). This is the first time back since Darden sold, will not be back and have not even received food. They ran out of Shock Top Draft and I wondered why my first one tasted weak. Everything took so long on endless shrimp we didn’t have time to order refills, what a rip off.

Made reservations 3 days prior, when we arrived the girl at the front said she didn’t see our reservation. We had called and talked to the manager about the reservation. We arrived on time and had to wait 10 minutes for the table to be set. As she started walking towards us with menus she noticed a gentlemen and decided to help him first. Then came back to seat us. The manager came to our table with the girl and said«whoever opened this morning should have had this ready» and didn’t say anything to our party. He was not friendly whatsoever. So first experience was not so great. But our waitress was a sweet girl and the food was pretty good!

My fiancé and I come here frequently, and have only had one hiccup so, in my book, that’s pretty darn good. He always gets the steak which he loves every time, and I get the shrimp Alfredo that is never greasy and always fabulous! Not to mention the amazing biscuits!

Boo. Over cooked dry non buttered lobster. I have made several better at home and I’m no expert.

We had the«Coastal Soup and Grilled Shrimp Salad with the Lobster Bisque($ 1.00 additional). The salad was made as cheaply as possible with iceberg lettuce, a few croutons & a few average grilled shrimp — pretty disappointing. The lobster bisque tasted like it was made with cheese wiz! Very salty and sticky/creamy like fake/plastic cheese. Wanted something light and got instead a below average, 1 star, very disappointing lunch!

Great food. Great service. I had a long hair in my food the last time I went. I was disappointed and grossed out about the hair! but I will still return for all you can eat shrimp! The manager discounted the bill and made me a new plate to make up for the hair.

Excellent service and the $ 7.99 shrimp tacos for lunch are excellent. Will be having the lobster tacos next. I would highly recommend this place for lunch and dinner.

Great food and place to eat! I can’t even compare this place to Outback in Happy valley which is a dump.

First time taking the family and it was an awesome experience. The staff here is on top of it. Our crab legs came out cold and they brought out double the amount we had ordered. Very quick and steamy! Shrimp scampi was absolutely delicous. Fish tacos were not so great but thats fine, everything else made up for it.

It’s a chain place. You’re going to find the same items on the menu wherever you go. I was surprised that for a weekend there was almost literally nobody there, when we walked in even the staff wasn’t to be found and we waited in the front lobby for a few moments before even being greeted. We were seated, given menus and told our server would be with us shortly he came over quickly and took our drink and appetizer order and brought both back in a timely manner-at which point we ordered our main dinner selection. I chose the all you can eat shrimp special they are currently running(which is really a great value) but I was highly disappointed that part of my meal had a sticker cooked in it, a simple mistake but still annoying. I noticed the sticker in my food almost right after our sever walked away but was not able to get his or anybody else’s attention to try and have it corrected for nearly 10 minutes. When I was finally able to get somebody to our table all I got was a «oh ok, well it’s endless shrimp so we will just bring another one». Seriously, no apology or anything? After the sticker dish was taken away and a sticker free one brought out our server disappeared again, till just before bringing our bill. Due to distance it’s not likely this would be a place we would be returning to anytime soon but also because of the lack of service it is even less likely.

This place is totally known for their seafood so don’t be fooled and order lobster. All of their fish dishes are so delicious! They also have great margaritas and their strawberry mojito is delicious even though I love getting the Virgin version it’s more fruity and sweet in my opinion. I got their island grilled mahi-mahi with bbq pineapple salsa and it’s delicious! YUMMM! Great birthday dinner(: their service is really great, my server even cracked jokes and everyone was all very cheerful! Great vibe.

All you can eat shrimp? Ok! I went here with my family to check out the all you can eat shrimp. It was fantastic! They have seven different kinds of shrimp to choose from and they were all excellent. You can mix or match and they didn’t make you feel like a pig for ordering a second round. In fact they encouraged it and helped facilitate the ordering so that the next batch would be ready about the time you were done with the last one. By the time I had to tap out from the feast my mouth said jeep it coming but the food baby had enough. If you like shrimp you can’t lose with this one.

Did not honor emailed offer. They emailed that I could get a free appetizer and dessert if I bought two of their Lobsterfest entrees, but when I called to order takeout, they spent 15 minutes explaining that they would actually charge an extra $ 25 for that appetizer and desert, and would require me to go to their restaurant and show them the email to see if they would be willing to honor it, and then I could place my order, and then wait the 40 minutes for the takeout to be ready in their lobby(they are apparently pretty busy). That doesn’t seem very reasonable, as I’d then have to wait in their lobby for 40 minutes before leaving with my food. When I’m looking at spending $ 60+ for two entrees in the first place, I’m not willing to waste that much time playing games with their manager to find out if they are willing to honor the offer which they had sent me. Note: the offer was still valid, and the exact wording was«Includes your choice of appetizer, dessert and wine(where available) with purchase of 2 Lobsterfest entrees.» I offered to forward this email to them so I wouldn’t have to go into the store to determine whether or not they would honor it, but the manager stated that they have no outside email access.

Is it weird to say I come all the way from downtown Portland to eat at this Red Lobster? That’s right. I live among many elegant seafood joints — Jake’s Crawfish, Ringside Fish House, Dan and Louis Oyster Bar, Parish, The Fish Grotto. But oddly enough, we tend to stick with having our fancy seafood nights out here. Why? Because of the consistency. All the places downtown are very expensive, and aside from Jake’s, most of them are hit or miss. Jake’s is pretty good but very expensive. Red Lobster, with it’s frequent seasonal specials, its various coupons, and its free cheesy biscuits, runs a cheaper bill for a better meal on average. Its location is not romantic or trendy, but its servers are cheery, and the food is great for the price. Literally the only deterrent for us is the travel distance, and even then it’s not so bad. We once even took the Max out here just to eat some decent seafood. The last time we came, they seated us immediately. Sometimes this place gets filled up because there is often a wait. Now what tells you something is good? When there is a waiting area packed full of excited clientele, and none of them are complaining about the wait. I really recommend coming down and getting whatever there special is. If it’s lobster or crab legs or shrimp — do it. Endless shrimp has never failed me. I’ve never gotten a wilty salad or a flavourless baked potato here. Everything tastes great and is seasoned consistently. The lobster here comes out great every time. I’ve had soapy-tasting, over-frozen lobsters elsewhere but not here. And really nothing beats the cheesy biscuits. I have tried for years but never mastered recreating the perfect Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuit. And you know what? Order as many as you like. Even if you don’t finish them, they’ll bring you a little bag complete with reheating instructions to go.

It’s what you expect — a lot of people being served carefully designed portions of seafood. The place is clean, our server was good and the food was tasty. We have enjoyed the $ 14.99 feast a couple of times and it’s a full meal for not a lot of $$. Is it spectacular? no Is it bad? — no — not at all Is it worth going to a few times a year — of course
