Very busy Friday night dinner. Quoted 45 minute wait, not nearly that long. Two Prime ribs, a ribeye and a sirloin. All delicious and served with a smile. Our server Jessica was on it! Ribs were not quite as rare as we’d like, but tender, seasoned very well, served with horseradish and au jus. Sweet potato casserole served with the ribeye was AMAZING.

to begin, it took 10 minutes to get drinks when we were the only people in The restaurant. then the drink orders were wrong. next my father spilled coffee all over himself and it took an act of congress to get anyone to bring us napkins(again, only two other parties in the restaurant.) then when the food eventually came, on my burger was the top of tomato where the stem comes out. my father had ordered fries as a side and that just never came out until we asked again and even then they came out in increments. then when my boyfriends food came he didn’t receive the salad he ordered. when we asked for the salad and it came, it had no dressing on it… they also never brought my other friends salad but at that point we just gave up and didn’t bother asking. then the second cup of coffee we ordered just never came so we gave up and went to StarBucks. if there was an option to give 0 stars I would. on the bright side though my friend enjoyed is melt.

Very disappointed, we both had ribeye steaks and also paid extra for a «topping» which the server recommend ed. Both steaks were tough and one had lots of grizzle. We were with another couple whose steaks were very good .one had a ribeye with NOTOPPING, maybe that’s where we made our mistake. We will not go back, instead when we want a good steak, we’ll go to Lookout, which is always great!

Food for thought know your product where it came from just FYI. It’s good stake house and little pricey, great service, and the Flo’s fillet is ok. I definitely will come back try a different cuts of beef.

I just visited this place for the first and last time last night. I ordered two bowls of soup(they sounded good), and my wife ordered a steak salad. She got us some white cheddar stuffed mushrooms to go with it. The steak on the salad was pretty good. Nothing else really was. The soups were the worst. I’m gonna say these come in bags as concentrate, but that doesn’t tell the whole story, because years ago I worked at a Ground Round that got its soups exactly the same way, and they were actually good. Here, the shrimp and lobster chowder just tasted runny and bland. I could sure taste the(old) shrimp, but no lobster I could taste or even recognize floating in the bowl. The French onion soup comes with a big layer of melted cheese, something I usually like, but it’s a pretty cheap flavorless mozzarella. Moreover, it’s topped with garlic bread crumbles that were anything but fresh. The soup itself, instead of oniony, was a cloyingly sweet affair without any real flavor to it. Huge disappointment. The mushrooms, purportedly stuffed with white cheddar, were mostly slathered in bechamel with a thin layer of cheese on top(along with the aforementioned garlic bread crumbles), and if that was white cheddar, I’ll eat my hat. Tasted like the same low-quality mozz that was on the soup. I’m a cheese fan, I know what cheddar tastes like, and this ain’t it. I notice Longhorn has a slightly better average rating than Logan’s across the street, but, though I’m not a huge fan of Logan’s either, I like Logan’s better. The sides and apps actually taste like something you might order on purpose. And it may be there are good things on the menu at Longhorn, but when they put so little effort into the sides and soups, I lose confidence in a hurry. Especially when menu prices are far from cheap. I used to work at a place that had an on-site cafeteria that was run by Swanson’s. Yes, the TV dinner people. They used the cheapest everything. Cheap lunchmeat, low-quality cheese, terrible salad dressings, everything. I ate there only when dragged by coworkers. The soups were the same quality as Longhorn’s.

Horrible experience… A 15 minute wait for nothing, I was really excited to eat at this place. I ordered the steak for two people and I asked for well done and when it came it was medium with a lot of pink on the center. It was really disappointing. I don’t recommend this place.

You can get a reliably good steak here, tender & juicy. I was eager to try the fire roasted corn on the cob, but it was too dry. Friend had the burger which filled him up half way through, and he’s a big guy. Nice, attentive staff and a clean place. Enjoy!

Absolutely delicious the service was outstanding I would visit this again location again if in the make in Gulfport Mississippi area. Jason was an excellent service I would ask for him. Appetizers was spaish artichoke, outlaws Ribeye 18oz with ordered extra mushrooms and shrimp, grilled lamb chops came with horseradish mashed potatoes nasty to me.

What can I say? This is a chain. Yes, it is. So you expect chain service, right? You call in a go order, explaining how you realize you are being so specific, but let them know you are bringing food back to your hotel to heat up later so you need your order exactly as you have ordered it. You don’t expect them to respond or care, but they do. What? This is a chain. They aren’t required to care, BUTTHEYDO! For anyone searching for prime rib in Gulfport, just stop it. Longhorn has it, every day, all day. In fact, at 5 in the evening, you can order a rare prime rib and get rare prime rib! My prime rib, potato and salad were absolutely perfect! The service was even better than the food! Skip the other places. Just go to Longhorn. Why even bother with the other hassle?

This Longhorns makes me uncomfortable. The service is terrible & if you ask for a certain table or booth you will get looks and whispers. This happened not once but twice. The staff is not happy with their jobs and frustrated about getting«another table». Myself and my party are never rude, we love to tip well for good service, but are always thoroughly disappointed in the service here. I don’t think I will be back after this last time.

We were here on a weekend just ahead of the dinner rush. We were told our wait would be 45 minutes, but we were seated in about 20 minutes. Once seated, however, we waited on our waiter to find us. Once he did, he said he’d be right back to take our drink order and so we waited. When we likened our throats to parched deserts, he finally appeared to take our drink order, but we still waited. It went like that, on and on, until we got our food, just over an hour after we walked in. The food was good, but we nearly swooned in the meantime, hardly making it worth the wait.

I have been to this Longhorns many times and have always had great service. The extra mile kind if service. They will accommodate a special order or substitution. generally without an up charge if the request is not unreasonable. Food comes out timely and is always fresh and hot. Great bread too. Steaks are typical for this level steakhouse… Decent and properly prepared. I like the idea of the porterhouse for two. 30 ounces… Basically because I think a thicker steak allows a good char while keeping the temp rare to medium rare. This steak comes with table side steaksauce service! They come out with a little ceramic bowl and place in a hot metal disk to keep the sauce warm for you subsequently, then pour in a base sauce, add herbs, garlic, lemon zest, and siricha. It is good!

It’s hard to give more than 3 stars, considering all of the mistakes, but the quality of the food, and more impressively, the front-end staff was outstanding. Our company had our Christmas party here last night. We called a few hours ahead of time to make sure they’d have a place to seat 15 people. We got there, and they hadn’t even started to set it up, so we had to wait a good 20 minutes. So, I decided to sit at the bar and have a couple of beers. The bartender was friendly, but they should have had a barback or a second bartender helping her. It took quite a while to get drinks. Also — I paid a little over $ 5 for tall Bud Light drafts — which seems unreasonably high. The waitresses were phenomenally friendly and on the spot. Nobody had to wait for refills or any other requests. A few of the steaks were under/overcooked. I ordered the 30 oz porterhouse, and ended up with a 20 oz(the same happened to my brother, who was right next to me). They were also out of baked potatoes, so we got loaded mashed potatoes instead(they were great). They fixed the prices, remade the bad orders, and the manager, who was super awesome, took a good chunk off our bill. He also apologized profusely and seemed sincere. I’m a pretty laid-back guy — I’d have just been happy with them fixing the orders. He was definitely more upset about the screw-ups than most of us were. Oh, they also gave the entire group complimentary desserts for all of the inconveniences. I got some sort of apple turnover thing, which wasn’t great, but it wasn’t terrible(and the price was right). The food itself was delicious. I haven’t had a porterhouse from a restaurant that tasty and juicy in years… if ever. On that note, I don’t believe I’ve ever received the all-around stellar service from any other restaurant that even compared to the staff from last night. It’s a tad pricey, but if you’ve got the money, or feel like splurging, and if you aren’t particularly impatient, I would absolutely recommend giving Longhorn a try.

Do not go to this place 45 minutes till closing on a Saturday night. We waited… waiting… And then noticed three staff members across the room enjoying a conversation and not caring about customers. I final asked a young employee who was folding silverware if someone could come take our order. Her comment was our waiter would be there shortly… Anyway after ten minutes we got up and left. No sign of the manager. You have to believe this is a reflection of poor management that night. Good luck

I usually don’t like chain restaurants, but this place is good. The wait times are long, yes. But we expected that going in and spent time in the car, parked close, with our buzzer thing close by so we could chill and listen to music while we waited. Once in, the atmosphere is loud, yes. But I actually prefer restaurants on the louder side — nobody can hear your conversation through all the buzz, so it’s actually a more private atmosphere for me, than subdued, quiet restaurants are. Then again, my voice really projects and I need the«cushion» as it were. ;) Service wise — excellent. Both times we have went we have had the most attentive wait staff I have had out of any of the restaurants here, and much of the restaurants I’ve reviewed while living in WA and Canada. They are knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and patient. Food — Delicious, of course! It’s like a cowboy version of The Keg, which I love. I really can’t find anything wrong with the food. I tend to just order medium rare filets with asparagus and salad, so I can only review that — DIVINE. Wish it was grass fed, but what can you do?

Great service! Honey wheat bread and spinach dip are both awesome starters. The Parmesan Crusted Chicken, which is one of their more popular dishes, lives up to its reputation… it was full of flavor! And the Caramel Apple Goldrush was the perfect way to wrap it all up. I’ll definitely be returning during my next visit to the nearby Gulfport Premium Outlets.

Ok, so the food was phenomenal. Buttered mashed potatoes, steak, and a HUGE«side» salad with strawberries, clementines, pecans, and feta. The décor was iffy. Like they tried to do upscale cowboy… but what cowboy likes upscale? The waitress was nice, but something about the service was off. If I’m tipping someone, I expect that my water glass will never go empty for more than a few minutes. If it were an option to fill it myself, I would!

I went here last night with my family for an early Valentine’s Day dinner. It was very yummy, I had a Raspberry Tea, Bread & Butter, Housemade Chips &BBQ Salsa, The Cowboy Pork Chops with Apsaragus and Blue Ridge Salad and for dessert I had Banana Foster Cheesecake. It was all so yummy. It was crowded, because of Valentine’s weekend and the horse show that was going on, but it was so worth the wait. The Raspberry Tea was sweet, the Housemade Chips tasted like real cut potatoes made fresh, and the BBQ salsa was tangy and sweet, the Cowboy Pork Chops cut like butter and melted in my mouth, the Asparagus and a lemon citrus taste, the Blue Ridge Salad, the Romaine Lettuce was crunchy, the bacon was smokey and crispy, the Blue Cheese was soft and the Blue Cheese Dressing was sweet and creamy too. And the Banana Foster Cheesecake was sweet and the Bananas and Pecans were delicious. Longhorn Steakhouse was very yummy and I can’t wait to go back.
