This Hackensack location is great, it’s super convenient– it’s basically right off of route 80. It’s an outdoor location, so it works great for loading and unloading my suv when I need to.
The only reason I gave 3 stars instead of 5 is because there is no indoor option and no way they light up the units after dark, so it’s pitch dark after sundown (this is the biggest problem for me). I gave this rating also because they don’t offer a moving truck like the other Extra Space Storage’s I’ve been to do. It’s an extra step that can be avoided, although I understand the liability concern they said was the reason for this.
This place does the job fairly nice enough. I like them for the purpose they’re there for, and I would recommend them for what it is.
Their bathrooms are much cleaner than the others I’ve encountered, which is two thumbs up.
