Maui Kumbucha is great for a pit stop after a work out, good grinds, cool place.

Wow! Extremely helpful and kind staff. Gave samples of all the kombucha which is made in house. Delicious and not overpriced. Even the people to your left and right were extremely kind. Also serve smoothies and coffee and other related goods. They rotate their flavors frequently. Can’t wait to try more!

Fav watering hole where i go to socialize with new people — as in whenever i want to just chat with the staff or whomever happens oe there at the«bar counter». Staff friendly Food is pricey, portions small and tends to be overly heavy so i rarely eat there. Howwver they do have a lightish meal in the«thai noodle dish pad thai styled» is decent. Certoanly not thai food but a good attempt n its healthier than real dish. I go for the jackie chan jackfruit smoothie & on occasion Tigers milk with almond butter substituted. And when the mood strikes ill partake in the watering part ie kombucha. Concord grape is my fav. Great vibe, staff and friendly clientele equals always good times.

Best Acai bowl I’ve had, mostly because of their delicious granola. A great find and I only wish it’s closer to the resort town so I can go daily for breakfast.

Okay so this place is AMAZING! We had an early morning on Haleakala and needed some food on our way back down. Acai bowls, smoothies, juices, pre made salads and delicious desserts! They make delicious cold pressed coffee that was delicious and smooth. They also have a custom made juice and smoothie option which is great for those with allergies, blood sugar issues or other things. The staff was so friendly and knowledgable. It’s hidden in the back and will leave you feeling amazing!!! The food matches the vibration of the island. You definitely feel the love!

Used to be THEPLACE. Now the buch is bad and even the staff seem to know it. Some faithful regulars and travelers w old guide books keep this place running. Ok, some of their gluten-free treats are still good… Otherwise would have been two stars…

Update: I am obsessed with the raw pizzas and the big beautiful salad. Also the banana toast is too die for! This is my favourite place in the entire world! You’ll go once and you’ll forever be dreaming of the booch!

On my recent trip to Maui I was curious to visit a place that brews their own kombucha. I was pleased to find not only delicious samples of diversely infused kombucha available on tap, but also an extensive menu of smoothies, delicious and healthy raw food items like the live lasagne(so delectable I licked the plate!), and amazing raw desserts in their cooler such as coconut cream and key lime pies. Even powerful coffee drinks to boot. I visited them twice for lunch and wish I could have more! Highly recommended for creative, healthy, and delicious food!

Ok first off the Service is Good. The woman at counter who greeted me my guest was nice and offered us samples, They have a T. V, and bar you can sit and drink and talk. I wanted to sit a table and relax catch up with my friend so we found a spot. I’m no Kampuchea expert but I know when I get a buzz from drinking something and I defiantly got a buzz after having a 12 oz serving. I will go there to eat the food sometime but have not tried the food yet, but its worth stopping by while in HaIku. I think you can find better Kampuchea at other places though.

Wonderful casual restaurant with fresh and healthy selection. Great desserts, I had the acai pie. My main course was bowl of flavored and very tasty… I forget the name. Drinks are refreshing and delightful. Restaurant is bit difficult to find, it’s in the back of a mall near a gym. I’ll go back for sure.

Whether it’s your first time or you’re a veteran ‘buch-er, Maui Kombucha is the best place on the island to get your fix. The kombucha is perfect– not too vinegary, nor too sweet. Their other drinks, like smoothies, juices, and matcha/espresso-based lattes, are a good alternative for people who aren’t big on the booch. They also make fresh vegan soups, salads, wraps and desserts daily, and put a huge emphasis on supporting local and organic farmers. Vibes are warm and welcoming, staff are super friendly, and there is always a featured local arist’s work on display. It’s a great little nook to chill out and catch up with friends.

Visiting from So Cal. Best of the best of good food! Whether you have food intolerances or just love eating amazing food . Non gmo, dairy free, gluten free, loaded with good stuff that’s so tasty & packed with flavor ! Good variety on the menu. Not your run of the mill smoothie ingredients. This place kicks it up 10 notches as far as taste and ingredients go. Friendly and helpful staff… bonus. Not to be missed and worth the drive no matter where you are staying.

The food here is unique and delicious. I have not had the kombucha, so I can’t rate that. I’ve had the breakfast bagel, acai bowl, alive wrap, hot shot and hot chai tea. All of which was outstanding. The prices and serving are on point. I wish they had one in LA! I will be back.

The kombucha here is delicious!!! They have an awesome selection of flavours I’ve never seen anywhere else, and they all taste great. Unlike any other ‘buch I’ve had. My favorite, by far, is the Jasmine. Get it if they have it!

Don’t get the pea soup. It was horrible. Coconut water was horrible too. Service was horrendous! I’m never going back!

Not a fan. Kombucha is acidic and reacts with metal — they use kegs. When brewed naturally, kombucha gets carbonated on it’s own from the fermentation. At this place they use Co2 to carbonate it. Also during the natural fermentation process for kombucha the sugar is transformed into lactic acid, giving it a tangy-sour taste… there stuff is still quite sugary. Honestly, I am skeptical that the stuff being served has much to do with kombucha at all. Tastes like carbonated apple cider vinegar with some sugar. Sad to see something like kombucha already being exploited by businesses to take advantage of the uninformed public.

Gotta start by saying that the food gets four stars. If they used 100% local and organic ingredients it would get five. Metal is the enemy of the mother, or Kombucha culture. Every single guide to brewing advises against Kombucha touching metal at any point in the process. Maui Kombucha uses METALKEGS to serve their Kombucha. Kombucha’s effervescence is a natural result of the fermentation process. Maui Kombucha pumps their Kombucha full of Co2 to make it more bubbly. Their Kombucha has a high alcohol content, despite the«tests» run by whole foods on specific samples. I’ve seen many people giving this to their three year olds. Any health benefit in Maui Kombucha is long gone by the time it reaches your beautiful lips. I encourage you to read about Kombucha brewing and to make some at home if you would like to receive the health benefits. Maui Kombucha is not healthy and in my opinion they are deceiving their customers into believing so for a profit. Not my kind of business. Used to be amazing and the food is so good but when I discovered their practices I was blown away and sadly never set foot in there again.

For those who aren’t pure vegans please listen: THEFOODHERETAKESSOMEGETTINGUSEDTO. Trust me. it’s a little«too» healthy(unusual flavors that might at first be unappealing) and it might be a bit much for some to handle. Disclaimer aside, the food here was hearty and obviously healthy. We tried their soup(not really my favorite was a little watery) and their sushi(was pretty good) and their wrap(this was awesome) as well as their chia seed dessert(the bee pollen was a very weird thing to add. but I guess it’s healthy?) My favorite thing here was obviously the KOMBUCHA! The ginger one was my favorite. As for the food. I’d skip the sushi/soup/chia seed dessert and try a wrap or something else. I should have ordered some cream pie!!! That sounds yummy~! Seems to be hit or miss food-wise but the kombucha is great!
