Casciano’s Coffee Bar and Sweetery is a great little place to gather with friends and have a good cup of joe. I really enjoyed the calming atmosphere. I ordered a Caramel Casciano and it was awesome. It was not too bitter, not too sweet. It was just right. The sweet aftertaste of caramel tickled my senses. Overall, I will definitely visit Casciano’s again.

One of the coolest places to get coffee/tea pastries and a number of different things including pieces from local artists. It’s less pricey than Starbucks and much better quality. The owner is almost always on site, so you know you will receive top quality service.

I came from rochester, New York to visit my girlfriend who just got an internship in hammonton, nj. She told me to go this shop. I ordered an ice caramel, I drank and the first thing I said, «wow this is way better than Starbucks.» I will come back and shop again.

I absolutely love this place clean fast service everyone is friendly and they have the best coffee fresh everyday nothing’s left over. If you decide to go and stop by ask for the Kevin Farri special. That would be a sugar free caramel cashiano. You can get that hot or cold. You always have to get a large cuz its never enough.

Since I’m an out of towner I’m not able to hit my favorite coffee shop as much as I’d like. So, when I do, I stock up! Tracey always greets me with a smile and makes me the greatest iced coffee ever. I make it a point t to grab a sandwich and bagel before I go and am never dissatisfied.

In a world of Starbucks, Hammonton is lucky to have its own local coffee shop. I often sit and work for hours, and the staff are great. Besides coffee, the food is delicious — I recently tried the cheddar tomato soup. I am here or there with tomato soups, but this was INCREDIBLE. Linda also tries many new types of foods, so it’s fun to see what she brings in next.

Great little place located in the center of Downtown Hammonton. The environment is nice. When you walk in you defiantly feel like your walking into a coffee shop. There is local art work sitting on the wall. The pastries are from the small bakery across the street. The sitting area is very clean and modern. There is a nice section in the back with a couch and some chairs so you can relax a little bit. The coffee is really good and taste fresh. My personal favorite is the White Mocha Casciano. The only problem I have is that it attracts a younger crowd being a coffee shop and for a blue collar guy that is a little bit past the college scene you can feel out of place. Definately worth a try if you like coffee shops.

I have been here to grab a jar salad and latte for lunch and it’s pretty solid for something like that. However, they claim to do catering which I suggest never ordering from them. They convinced my mom into getting some appetizers from them for an engagement party. It was $ 30 per appetizer which you would assume would be able to serve a large amount of people. The chicken salad on edible spoons was delicious but not nearly large enough to spend $ 30 on and the pesto dip(which was also $ 30) was really just a 12 oz jar with pesto that was good but nothing special. They also tried to convince my mom into purchasing giant jarred salads for the party which I thought was kind of ridiculous… why would you serve 30+ people with salad from a jar? My mom is easily talked into purchasing things and I truly believe they took advantage of her good nature and basically what they sold us was kind of a rip off. That being said it did taste pretty good.

Love. It’s a great place to linger. The update is for the baked goods in which they’ve found a way to keep from drying out.

Another fantastic addition to downtown Hammonton’s restoration project. Is it really a surprise that Casciano has withstood time and the economy, and the in-town Starbucks did not? It shouldn’t be, since Hammontonians support their own, which is definitely not a bad thing. It was pretty busy last week when I stopped in for an IV drip of caffeine and some sweets. I felt pretty bad since I had not a clue what to order being that this was my first visit. Luckily, the pleasant girl behind the counter patiently recited all of Casciano’s flavored syrups and asked me a bunch of different questions before concocting a coffee drink especially for me. It seemed like a lot of the customers were regulars, which is awesome, and the way the staff interacted with them was refreshing and relaxed. Casciano is a very cozy space with comfortable seating, table-tops, and interesting artwork. A very cool vibe that fits perfectly with the other shops/eateries/businesses along downtown Hammonton. I had purchased a Unilocal deal, so I ended up snatching up some sweet treats as well. The coffee was exactly what I needed, and I was really impressed that the young girl who made it listened to exactly everything I said: not too sweet, a definite kick of espresso, and no whipped cream. It did taste a little bit like licorice though, of which I’m not personally a fan. My only disappointment was that the sweets I bought were not fresh at all. I tried a brownie, a cupcake, and a cookie, and they were all pretty stale, with the cookie being the worst offender. The sweets aren’t made by Casciano, so this isn’t necessarily a knock on them. They do, however, have house-made options such as sandwiches and the like, so I’m sure those are much fresher. My total for 4 items, including a rather large iced coffee, was just above $ 10, which is an excellent value. Casciano is something desperately needed by Hammonton, and I’ll be happy to return for another fresh iced coffee!
