Fuji Sushi

I used to live across the street. Very nice people and food is very good. Lunch specials are slamming.

Fuji is good for a quick tasty meal if you’re in the area. The woman behind the counter was as friendly as can be, a nice departure from the usual people at places like this who rush you to «order by number.» While they were making my order (boneless rib lunch special), the woman up front gave me directions to two nearby art galleries (the purpose of my Westchester visit), and even let me through the kitchen to wash my hands in their bathroom.
Since I ordered dine-​in, I was pleasantly surprised to find my meal neatly presented on nice china (think Lenox /​Corningware), but curious as to why they gave me plasticware instead of proper silverware. Either way, the portion was generous, and the food was tasty, however the accompanying egg roll seemed a bit «off.»
Interior is typical «Chinese food-​esque» but they have a small sushi bar (3 – 4 seats) if that’s your fancy…

This is a great place for take-​out chinese and quick sushi. There are a lot of other japanese places in Harrison for sushi, but I like that you can get both in one place. The folks that work here are friendly and the place is clean and well lit.

Good chinese, but for japanese food i would suggest visiting some of the actual japanese restaurants in Harrison, such as Momiji.

Um, yeah. I gave a small place on a side street a chance. No greeting when we went in, no interaction from the three employees on the way out. We took it home and the sushi was not good. Toward the end of the meal Jess found a pit/​bone/​something hard and marble sized IN HER SUSHI.
Don’t even bother with this place.
