What a disappointment! I invited three old friends of mine to go to this place because its like an old dependable standby. I chose the $ 28 lobster special. It was supposed to be 1 ½ pounds. It was more like 1 ¼ pounds, if that. Been eating lobster since I was four so I know what a pound and a half looks like. I paid an extra two dollars to get blue cheese on my salad which came with the lobster. It was plain, bland white cheese! I don’t mind paying the extra two bucks, but what is it with these people? Just say,” sorry we’re out of blue cheese or Roquefort” or whatever you want to call it. If I want queso blanco on my salad, there are plenty of diners to go to. If that was blue cheese, I’m Fidel Castro. The meal started with some nice complimentary garlic bread. The cosmopolitans were well made. The calamari which another one of us ordered was well prepared as well. But if I’m going to spend $ 37 for a lobster dinner, including a cup of tea, this is just ridiculous. Décor was plain and old world, but I go out to dinner with friends because I enjoy being with them and talking with them, not to be entertained by a trendy, well-appointed environment. Service was mediocre. I asked for some extra sauce on my spaghetti and didn’t get it. And I had to chase down the waiter for the cup of tea at the end of the meal. Arividerci!

This is where the old people in town go. The bar is as sad as a nursing home and sort of looks like one. The food is I guess edible. They did paint the exterior so that’s a nice touch.

Nice place, quaint atmosphere. I didn’t think they were going for Cape Cod but it was very nautical. Limited wine selection but nice flavorful Cabernet at a very nice price. Like other reviews on Unilocal so I picked it while in town on business. ABSOLUTELY Recommend the 4 seasons salad it was AWESOME!!! Would have given it 5 stars but for the sole that needed a bit more flavor in my broiled platter. All in all I will be back!

Good service, good food. Décor a bit dated, but maybe that’s old world charm for the older crowd.

Service was great. Place is very dated. Food was so so. Wife’s string beans on a dish by themselves had a noodle and parts of different vegetables mixed in to it that didn’t match anything we were eating. Hmmm.

When our houseguest asked for seafood, this vegetarian didn’t know where to go. I chose Land and Sea because they had options for everyone. The décor was definitely geared towards the older crowd. But, the service was good and food was very flavorful. Prices were also a plus. The perfect place for both vegetarians and seafood lovers.

I’ve been coming here since I was a little kid, and that’s cause this place is great. First off, the people are so nice. Great and attentive service. Pizza Margherita — Best i’ve ever had. No joke, i can just keep eating it. Freshest ingredients, cooked in a brick oven. Definite must try Lobster — they do a great job, and there’s usually always a special. Great deal If you’re looking for a place that’s consistently good, come here!
