Food was amazing yet again. Their eggs Benedict has perfectly poached eggs and very tasty Hollandaise. They had a fruit lasagna special for the day. I know it sounds weird. But it’s made up of Crepes as the layers with a cheesecake custard and the loads are fresh fruits, and topped with homemade whipped cream. It’s absolutely fresh and amazing.

This place wasn’t particularly bad, but there was nothing that really stood out for me either. After looking at all of the high reviews from everyone else, I was excited to give this place a try and had high expectations. When walking in, the owner was friendly and we were seated almost immediately. The place is tiny inside with old-fashioned décor. They had two different flavored coffees, my boyfriend and I tried both and they were both so awful tasting that we only took a few sips. For food: I had the French toast with blueberries and a side of homefries. I’m a vegetarian so my options were really limited. My food was probably a 3 on a scale of 1 – 10. The French toast was tiny and the homefries were really garlicky. My boyfriend had the steak benedict and was pleased, but was still hungry afterwards, as was I. Overall: the portions were way too small, the food is just average, the location is very poor, the dining room is small and crowded, but the service is very friendly. It is on the expensive side too which is surprising given the portion sizes– $ 33 for two people. I will not be returning.

What an amazing breakfast! The service is wonderful and the food delicious! The menu offers a variety of healthy and tasty options; however, the most impressive items are the gluten-free options! It’s not easy finding gluten-free breakfast options other than eggs but here they offer an array of freshly baked gluten-free muffins and many other items(the waffles are fantastic)!!! This little breakfast place appears unassuming but truly is a hidden jewel for those looking for a quality breakfast experience!

I rarely write reviews but after visiting Breakfast Café numerous times a review was long overdue. First, don’t let the unassuming strip mall location fool you. This is a real deal breakfast place. Secondly, whether you’re eating healthy or looking to indulge they have something for everyone. My heathy go to mean is the over stuffed veggie omelette and they’re not kidding when they say over stuffed. The vegetables are expertly chopped fitting nicely into the omelette, no huge chunks of random vegetables. They are also not drenched in butter or oil and look to be streamed. They offer numerous types of cheese for your omelette including 2% cheese! I’ve never seen this at a restaurant. For sides you can get home fries, baked beans or fruit. If you’re there to indulge, the pancakes are huge and fluffy and the French toast is delicious. My recommendation is anything that has their homemade«café cream» on it. To die for! Thirdly, they have unbelievable specials on the weekend that they rotate frequently. Along with the specials they offer two types of flavored coffee. Shauna, Amy and team do an excellent job. I’m so glad I found this place.

Like Cheers, everybody knows your name Unbelievable specials for breakfast… the Triple Berry Special with homemade granola and Café Cream is to die for. Great original specials that are different from basic omelettes or just eggs, bacon, toast and home fries. They feature two flavored coffees on weekends– no syrup added just flavored coffee. Some of the flavored we have enjoyed… Pistachio Ice Cream, Boston Crème Pie, Mocha Mint, Hawaiian Macadamia Nut, Chocolate Raspberry, Coconut. Love them all…

Very casual. In a strip mall, but don’t let this stop you. Inside is warm and populated by friendly, happy servers. The food is excellent and high quality. Plenty for anyone hungry. Great place.

Great service and we were seated right away. Who doesn’t love that?! The staff was very friendly and the food even better. Everything we ordered was very good. Just a note to people who are visiting for the first time, the pancakes are the size of the plate! Huge!

Giving 1 star because 0 is not a choice. Haven’t been here in about a year since I have moved. Seated in restaurant and while waiting for a waitress to take my order, 4 more tables were seated. A waitress came to their table and they all received coffee etc prior to a waitress coming table. Finally was waited on and placed my order and the table next to me was seated. They received their coffee while I still waited. 2 of the tables after my arrival are now served their food. I get up to leave and host/probable owner thanks me for coming, I explain what happened and all I get is oh, I’m sorry. If he cared about each customer, the reply would be since you have been here 20 minutes and your order is in, please sit back down and it’s on the house. Maybe the food is still real good but I never found out and will never know. I am not returning.

The Breakfast Café in Haverhill, MA may look unassuming from the outside, but is one of the best breakfast joints in the area. When entering, you are normally told to seat yourself. The restaurant is very clean and bright, although the décor is a bit old-fashioned. We ordered the breakfast sandwich on homemade ciabatta and the special of the day, the lobster soufflé. The breakfast sandwich was outstanding. The homemade bread was delicious. The home fries on the side could be the best we’ve ever had. They are crispy, salty, and highly addictive. The lobster soufflé was OK. It was more of a frittata than a soufflé, being very dense and mostly of egg. A soufflé’ is typically light and airy. The sauce on top lacked flavor, and I was expecting more lobster the way that it was described to us. The sweet cornbread underneath was out of place, but it was the best part of the meal. Not bad, but some adjustments could be made. I commend them for trying something different, but this one fell a little flat. The service was also some of the best we’ve ever had. The food comes out fast, and the waitresses are unbelievably friendly. This is one of the better breakfast places we’ve ever visited. The service is outstanding, and the homemade food is delicious. This will definitely be one of our go-to restaurants for breakfast when in the area.

Wow, I can’t believe I waited so long to come here! What a hidden gem. Small place filled with light house décor, this place was a wonderful surprise with a unique menu — non traditional breakfast. I had the blue cheese stuffed french toast topped with bacon, spinach, and poached pears. Fantastic play on the sweet and savory. Hubby had a cheese and chili omelet which was really good! Omelets do mot come with home fries, they are a al la cart item. «Everything is home made here» reported the waitress. Soon after we arrived, there was a line out the door. They did not offer iced tea(not in season) which was a disappointment. The prices are indeed higher here. Goof food cast more, we paid $ 30 for two breakfasts w/coffee. We will be sure to return soon, but not often, as the higher prices are a bit off putting.

First breakfast date with my now boyfriend, although he has eaten there many times it was my first time. I am normally not a breakfast person, however this restaurant is a keeper. We came for the pumpkin pancakes(menu changed) but received the cranberry pancakes. My B/F equally agreed they were both delicious the potatoes tats are the best I’ve every had, as for the service, the staff and owner will makes you feel welcome and attentive. «I enjoy their energy« Sometimes that’s all it take for me to come again. I have eaten there 3 times since November and I live in Boston. I love the place and the man who introduce me to the restaurant and I’m sure you will too.

Greatest experiences here. The wait is fast so don’t be discouraged. Food is well worth it. I had a specialty omelette that had a pumpkin cheese sauce and cranberry sauce(both homemade and out of this world). Omelette had bacon, spinach, sweet potato and onions. They serve flavored coffee when they have it. Waitresses come around offering coffee refills without having to be your particular waitress, which I love! Egg Benny, unreal. Just go there love it and write it up :) you won’t be disappointed

Great breakfast and great service! Nothing fancy just a nice little local place located in a stripe mall. The gentlemen who seated us was so friendly. Waitress was so nice. Omelets are huge. Outstanding muffins and cornbread. I’d definitely come back.
