I have gone to this place several times with my coworkers and I’m a huge fan. Ambiance is clean and simple, with always friendly and attentive customer service. The food is decent for a sport bar and a little pricey, but the portions and arcade credit rewards make up for it. I recently learned that you can use your gaming tickets towards the purchase of food so that’s a pleasant option for those that don’t want to use their credits towards toys and trinkets. We primarily go for the laser tag, and we have a blast each time! I’m not sure if it’s the environment or the alcohol, but playing with a group of strangers for laser tag always brings about a mutual synergy and feeling like everyone has been friends for a long time. I haven’t had the chance to try the Cyber Sport section, but that will be next on the agenda. The arcade well maintained and it’s cool that they actually give you a dollar value for playing instead of tokens or chips and such. I wish there was more diversity in their gaming portfolio to include billiards, darts, and rhythm games; maybe that will be put into consideration in the future. I’m a fan of D&B individually but when I’m with a group of friends and want quick food & drinks(and a good workout), I’ll choose Lasertron each time!

Went here for my big 40th with friends and had a blast! Many of us had never been there before, which was no big deal because you watch a short instructional video before you go into play. Definitely will be returning!!!

Let me start off by saying that I was not really expecting to have as much fun as I did. Sure, the IDEA of laser tag is great… but I’m not a super physical person and I have quite a bit of anxiety so I was feeling hesitant. The very first thing that I noticed is that I don’t think they clean the vests. Which, is a little disconcerting, considering you get VERYSWEATY during the game. Maybe they do clean them, but I did not see it happen and they did not smell like cleaner. The second thing I noticed is that you don’t get to pick what team you are on, so you end up getting your group split up. I was with a group of four and we got split two and two. I guess that makes sense, but I got split from my boyfriend and ended up on the same team as his cousin who wanted absolutely nothing to do with me, which was another reason I didn’t think I was going to have as much fun. But you know what? It was SOMUCH fun. I got way into it right away. There are tons of obstacles and places to hide. I can’t remember how long the games actually were, but it definitely felt like a good long time. They have free seabreeze style lockers while you’re playing so you don’t have to worry about your stuff. I didn’t have any food while I was there so I can’t comment on that. I don’t drink alcohol so I can’t comment on that, either. We did have fun in the arcade, though. I wish it didn’t cost so much money, but c’est la vie. Overall the experience was great. Though they’re no cash policy is pretty weird? You have to load your cash onto your lastertron card. Then it just… STAYS on your lasertron card if you don’t use it all. So I guess it’s a good business strategy to get you to come back? You also cannot tip the bartenders which I also think is weird. I hope they are paid very well because otherwise that rule is pretty unfair.

PRO-TIPFORADULTS: Go after 9:00 when kids aren’t allowed. Otherwise, you’re going to be awash in children. This really is a great laser tag place – decent arcade games, a full bar, and like three different options for group activities. I personally prefer the lasertag setup that was NOT the«tactical» version(e.g. attacking the base, rather than team deathmatch) – there was some 10-year-old kid who just kept DOMINATING me in the tactical version, and I think the non-tactical version is more forgiving and able to be enjoyed easier by players of all skill levels. Anyway, love this place, it’s my favorite lasertag option in Rochester!

What a great place! I try have loads of fun when I come here. I have done laser tag in the sport arena twice now and I love it. My competitive side really comes out with the laser tag gear on. The laser tag area is clean and still in new condition. It is great to see a well maintained place. Be sure to use your three special modes of you want to get points! Spy mode is my savior. You play four rounds so you play for a while and if you aren’t in good shape you will Probably wake up sore the next day… They should add a stretching zone for after so your muscles don’t cramp up afterwards. I have done cyber sport which is like a cross of bumper cars and lacrosse. Once I figured out how to get the car to do the things I wanted it to do it was great fun. I just wish the game lasted a little longer. The arcade is a ton of fun. Everything goes onto your little card so you don’t have to worry about having tokens to play with or losing the tickets you earned. This also makes it easy to save up your tickets for a bigger prize. There are staple games like skeeball and basketball but then there are other fun games like throwing a ball at clowns to knock them off and beer pong. Beware you money will go fast with all the cool games to try out. There is a full menu of food items and a bar of you would like a drink before or after you play with ample seating areas. The seating areas also have massive tvs if you would like to watch a little bit of a game that is on. It is a little expensive being $ 18 for one attraction(an attraction is a game of laser tag or cyber sport) but they are always running great deals like 4 attractions for $ 30. I would say you should always get that. The attractions don’t expire and you will save a good amount of money in the long run. Although it says this is where adults go to have fun, kids are allowed until 9:00 pm. I wish it was a little earlier especially in the weekends but that just means you have to wait until a little bit later to enjoy the adults only crowd. Overall, a great place and a great addition to the area. Adam and I will certainly be back for more fun!

Had a blast coming here with friends this past weekend. We got the monthly special which was 4 passes plus $ 10 in arcade for $ 30. We had a blast in the arcade as we waited for the cyber sport. Once we were called we had our own team against another team of 4. It was so fun!!! Driving around in a little bumper car while trying to shoot hoops with a scooper stick and a nervous ball. A blast! Next we went into the lasertron sport, wow what a rush! The game field is dark and lit with neon lightz. Red and green depending what team you’re on, your side is that specific color. Once you venture into the opposite color — you are in enemy territory. Zapping opponents laser sensors and their home team sensor without getting caught was such a thrill. We loved it, can’t wait to go back!

This place is geared towards adults but my kids still love it. The food isn’t bad, and I love that they have a bar. I still have to try their gelato but I’ve had their pizza numerous times. My 10 year old had his birthday party there, which was really affordable.

I’ve been here a few times, lots of fun. They have two different laser tag games, tactical which is head to head and sports arena where you tag opponents and targets for points for your team. The rooms are massive with two floors. My favorite game was cyber sport where you drive a bumper cart and try to throw a ball in basket, it’s fun with lots of people.

Lasertron is awesome. It is targeted toward adults for fun. Recently attended an event here and the staff that we encountered were all beyond amazing, kind and attentive. They went above and beyond to answer our questions. The laser tag is pretty cool. Compared to LaserQuest, it is more costly, longer games, physical arena seems slightly smaller. Lasertron is very large and has several seating areas and a sizable bar. There are tv’s everywhere and any game that you can imagine is likely playing on a screen here. Food prices are a little high considering the sheer number of restaurants in the area, but chances are that if people are playing here, then they are likely going to dine here too. We sampled a variety of foods. Among the best were the green bean fries. Can’t wait to visit again and update my review.

This place is a blast! They have laser tag, cyber sport, arcade games, a bar, and awesome food. It’s a little pricey for an evening out, but I think it’s worth it. The facility is really clean and the employees are great. I really loved cyber sport, which is essentially lacrosse in bumper cars. The laser tag arena was really well set up too. I even enjoyed the arcade games, which aren’t usually my thing. I am really looking forward to coming back soon.

This place is big, modern, and new inside. As soon as you arrive, everything you do is on your Lasertron Card they give you. You sign up with you info, «codename» and picture on it, you load your money onto it for games/food, it makes the whole process streamlined, it’s nice. This location being in Rochester, it has to be compared to the long-standing Laser Quest out on Ridge Rd. When it comes to the«laser» part of it, Lasertron doesn’t stack up in my opinion. As new as their equipment is, it doesn’t seem to be as precise and responsive as Laser Quest. It seemed really delayed & laggy. At certain points in the game, you pretty much heard«shields up», «shields down» at a constant rate over and over. The 3 second«shields up» thing when you get shot is really kind of a drag. It would be nice if you could see if someone else’s shields were up; a lot of time was wasted shooting at someone, and getting frustrated that nothing was happening because either their shields were up or the shots just weren’t registering. I don’t really know which it was, but it seemed like very few shots actually«hit». Supposedly every time you tag someone, their sensor flashes white, and you hear«great tag» from your gun. I only heard a few«great tags» and they were super delayed. It just seemed like the hardware couldn’t keep up with the fast gameplay, whereas as Laser Quest is more fluid and you don’t spend your time wondering if you actually shot someone or not. I’m not a fan of the 4 separate games within 1 session, and new stats for each game. I’d rather do just 1 full 24 minute session of 1 game, with 1 set of statistics. I also think free-for-all gameplay(Laser Quest) is more fun; it adds another element to the game, forming small teams/alliances with others, people turning on you, etc. Here you’re assigned a color and you get points for your team. The in arena-TV’s showing live stats are cool, and so are the«viewing areas» outside of the arena for people to watch. They have a 2nd Sports Arena with more varieties of gameplay, such as capture the flag/base, stuff like that. As far as prices, it’s a bit more $$$ here for just 1 game. A game here is $ 18 vs $ 8.50 at Laser Quest. The more games(attractions) you buy, the cheaper they get, and you can use them at a later date. You can buy 4 games for $ 30 which is $ 7.50/game and you can come back and use them whenever(it’s all loaded on your card). Everything else is where Lasertron takes the cake over Laser Quest; they serve food, arcade has fun games, overall atmosphere«cooler», BumperSport is unique, and the free locker system is really cool. Sometimes you don’t want a whole cake though, and only need but 1(laser) slice.

I came here for happy hour a few weeks ago with some people I work with, and we had a really great time. Lasertron is not very«cash friendly» so just bring your debit card or credit card with you. Dealing with cash is a pain here. They want you to load more money on your lasertron card to encourage more in-house spending. This includes the bar. The bar was alright. I paid $ 6 for a Rohrbach’s blueberry ale. They have wine and spirits as well. I think I might drink AFTER playing next time though, because I had beer sloshing around in my stomach when I was trying to be a ninja, and it slowed me down. When you pay for your games, they load the credit on your lasertron card. You pick a name, and get set up on the computers next to the cash register. They take a picture of yourself and pick a code name. There are set«play times» that are every 45 minutes or so. This is to make sure they have a full set of people to play each time, and to encourage drinking, eating, and arcade play in between the laser play. When you walk into the room where they teach you the rules, the computer randomly selects if you are on the green or the red team, and a number. I liked this in the sense that you don’t have people running around together in pairs like LaserQuest. Playing on teams made it more intense. There are 4 rounds in each game, that last about 6 minutes. The more«games» you play, the cheaper it becomes. You can buy 3 – 4 games, and only play 2. The extra ones will be saved on your Lasertron card for the future. They have lockers that you can put your wallet/purse. etc in for free. You put in a self selected code, and then it locks your stuff. You just have to remember what locker you put it in. I am looking forward to trying the bumper car arena someday, but this was a great place to go with a group of people, and it is nice to know you aren’t going to be like Barney Stinson against 12 year olds each time you play.

Can’t really say I love this place. Its advertising where adults can play. If they had dart board or pool table, I couldn’t find it. It is call Lasertron, but if you want to call it an adult play ground, our group didn’t see too many adults on that Friday evening. I was hoping to love this place. Meh.

So much fun! Went last night for a party and we all had a great time. Food was actually pretty good and bar was decent. My husband and I shared a half portion of quesadilla and tri color chips and salsa. We did the sports arena and it was awesome! You do 4 rounds of 6 mins each trying to defend your base and shoot your enemies! We were hot messes afterwards so be sure not to wear a sweater! The arcade was super fun, def crowded after 9. We all had a great time, but be prepared to spend premium prices. Arcade, good and bad are all pretty high in price, but fun to do once in a while.

I cannot say enough about Lasertron. I love love love this place and everything it stands for. The arcade games are fun, the food is decent(I’ve had the wings and quesadillas), and the drinks are good. At first I was taken aback by the refusal of cash and gratuity but I’ve grown accustomed to it. Their drink menu is on a mini tablet, which is kind of fun to use. The bar area can get super packed on a Saturday night so come prepared to wait a few minutes for a drink. I would recommend Lasertron hiring some waitresses to visit the tables for drink orders to help with this process. The laser tag is soooooo much fun! I’ve played in the sports arena and it can get pretty intense. You may go in thinking, «oh, this is fun,» but once the game starts it’s game on and the competition is fierce. One thing I wasn’t prepared for was the amount of sweat that I produced. Do not go in there with a sweater or you will hate yourself for the rest of the evening. My legs are a little sore too from the ducking and squatting. I do like that the security guard at the entrance tells families that children are allowed in the building until 9pm; however, this is not enforced. This place can get pretty packed with adults and having little children running around does not provide a safe environment. They should not be in the bar area either. Parents: take your kids home at 9pm, it’s bedtime for them… seriously. Regardless, I’m a big fan of Lasertron and plan on going again in the near future.

This place has really new tech so it was really nice walking in and witnessing the modern interior and design. The prices for the games and matches were also al very fairly priced. Rules were a little different but easily learned and adapted. Overall this place is good for a large group of friends being competitive and a memorable time doing so

An amazing time will be had by all who go to Lasertron! Lasertag is fun and a great workout too. Cyber Sports had me laughing the whole time. Service at the bar was great and our reservation was right on time! Will definitely go again and again!!!

Went last night with a few friends and played laser tag in the Tactical Arena and then played a round of Cyber Sport. We had the most fun ever — the laser tag was 4 rounds. By the time I got out of the arena I had worked up a sweat. After going outside to cool down for a few minutes before the cyber sport game, I decided to get a drink. I went to the concession counter and asked for a tea and the woman said it was like $ 3 and some change(high I thought) and when I handed her a 5 dollar bill she advised they didn’t take cash — just credit cards, or I could load money on the«lasertron» card and pay with that. It was slightly inconvenient but that’s my only complaint. The cyber sport is pretty fun, you drive little bumper car things and scoop up a little ball and attempt to make baskets to get points. There is an arcade area, though I didn’t play any games in it. There is also a bar area to have drinks and you can order food and it appeared it was a «seat yourself» situation for dining. There are also«viewing» areas where you can watch people play laser tag and cyber sport. I will definitely be back to have some fun with my friends and am even considering having a birthday party there!

Such a fun place to go! It was their«soft open» today and we went for a few rounds of laser tag. We played two rounds for $ 20/person and got $ 5 credit to play games while we waited for our game time. Each game consisted of four rounds of laser tag which were five minutes each. We played on teams of 4 and had so much fun! The arena was two floors with great places to hide. The place had a decent sized arcade with games you can play for tickets to redeem for prizes. They also had a bar and a separate area to order food. From sandwiches, pizza, wings, desserts, gelato, and apps. Some of the prices looked decent others not so much. We got a water and two gatorades for $ 9. Eek! I also saw large nachos for $ 18 on the menu(they are meant to share with 6 people though). All in all a great place with something for everybody. I would definitely go back again.
