Ate there with family for my son’s birthday on 3÷13÷2016. Both my son and I ended up with tremendous GI cramping, nausea and the other stuff that comes with it. Misery!!! It must have been the Pomodoro sauce. The others did not have that and remained unscathed. Don’t think we will return there or any other Carraba’s any time soon.

Have eaten here several times. When it first opened it was great. Food was great and the service was awesome. The last couple of times the service was terrible, the waiter smelled like cigarettes. The food has definitely went down hill also. It’s not the restaurant it used to be.

This is my first time here and it’s not that bad. Our waitress was really nice and helped recommend a lot of her favorites to us. I ordered a raspberry sparkling soda which was SOGOOD! To eat I got what was recommended to me, the salmon with tomatoes, cucumbers and a side of steamed broccoli. It was really good as well. For dessert we had the cannoli which was a little too sweet for my taste so I didn’t really care for it. My only problem was that the table napkin had red lipstick stain on it. But overall my experience there was pretty good. & Just a heads up, the menu is pretty pricy.

The wait was horrible. Obviously, this restaurant doesn’t know what they are doing with rotating there seats. We called ahead and they said the wait would be 2 hours for 10. When we get there, they said that they thought we said two! Two? How do you get two out of ten? So we deal it. And then they say they will seat us in 30 minutes. We wait and the table they say we’re going to get gets taken by another group! We waited 3 hours! Horrible wait and the servers are very rude.

A lot better than olive garden. Pricey but good. I do like the wait staff and atmosphere.

If you love Olive Garden you’ll hate carrabba’s, because carrabba’s is awesome. Warm bread with olive oil ghetto dip, 1.5 glass of wine, mix and match menu items, open kitchen, the list goes one. Salad was dressed perfectly. Chicken Bryan(hello goat cheese!) was amazing, same with the perfect sirloin Marsala. I can’t say enough about how great the food is. Wait staff was timely and accommodating. Loved it!

We’ve eaten at one in Scottsdale a few times and it’s usually pretty good. This one in Hickory, NC was equally good. Not the most authentic Italian fare, but tasty and nicely presented. Friendly and attentive service.

I don’t ever want to go back to this particular restaurant! I ordered some wine and when the waiter brought me my glass, he had his hand wrapped around it by the rim. When I went to drink my wine, I saw his impression of his fingerprints all over the glass. There was not a clear clean area for my lips to touch the glass in order for me to enjoy my wine! I asked the waiter for another glass and he brought one… guess what happened? The second glass was filthy, it had hard caked on stuff all on the outside of the glass. I was totally annoyed at this point! What I didn’t get was, the restaurant wasn’t even that busy. How do you not check your ware before using it to serve?! And how does someone not know how to bring you a glass of wine?! His hands were that dirty to have left such an impression. That Just Downright Disgusting!!!

We love dining at Carrabbas — usually. Food was delicious but our waitress spoiled the evening. She wasn’t paying attention while pouring my large(and expensive) peach San Gria. A good portion of it was poured on the table. Then she made a comment implying that I spilled it. A gentleman in our party told her we all watched her pour it on the table. She said she’d replace my drink but only brought a tiny sip and poured it into my glass. When the entrees came she picked up my salad but I said I wasn’t done with it. Then she made a comment about me being snippy. I felt at the least my drink should have been complimentary. Perhaps she was having a bad night or this restaurant needs to train staff better. We were very disappointed. In hind sight, probably should’ve told the manager.

By far one of the best restaurants in Hickory. Sit at the bar to get the best service. The filet Marsala is really good. The new decorations are also very nice.

I could not wait to eat at this restaurant! We showed up with a party of 15. Reservations have been made hours before. We got there and nothing was ready. They ended up putting us on the hightop tables by the bar. These are the most uncomfortable chairs that have no support for your legs. By the end of the evening I could not feel my legs or feet. I ordered tag pick pack which was decent! I also ordered mussels which tasted excellent but came almost cold. I thought to myself maybe it was just my mussels until a lady sitting at our table got her order — also cold. Our waitress did an okay job even though she was kind of creepy. I don’t think we will return there again. Major renovations also happening. The seating outside had no pillows and chairs that were so wide you could once again not feel your feet while sitting there! A little more finesse and this restaurant could have hope! For now I rate you two stars.

Great service. I always eat Chicken Bryan at Carrabba’s. Very good dish with goat cheese, sun dried tomatoes, and a buttered sauce. Great bread. It is close to hotels.

Usually this is one of my favorite restaurants, but last night I wasn’t impressed with the waitress nor the food. The two of us waited for our food much longer than usual. I noticed tables seated after us had their food before us. Caesar salad was dry, not enough dressing at all. Chicken soup and bread were great as usual. I also noticed the olive oil was removed from all the tables. We needed more oil so we basically had a dish of dry spices to dip into. Waitress was busy, no connection with us. Put things down and was gone before we could ask for anything. Grilled chicken cold. Also side of Fettuccine Alfredo was cold and a very small portion(we paid $ 2 extra) since I wanted a substitute. I thought soup came with my meal(always has before) but had an extra charge on our bill $ 4. So just my meal had $ 6 of extra charges. I asked the waitress and she said the meals had changed. My husband’s Parmigiana Chicken was almost burnt on the bottom, he joked he got«blackened» chicken.

My husband is a fan of Carrabba’s, so when we stay next door at The Hampton, we usually eat there or get carry out at least once or twice during our visit to Hickory(business trips). This past Sunday(my birthday, actually), we were tired after a long day of travel so chose the carry out route. My husband walked over and had a glass of wine at the almost-empty bar while he waited for our carry out order — 2 pasta dishes and 2 salads. Few people were dining, so he anticipated getting a nice, hot meal fairly quickly. Didn’t happen. Forty-five minutes later, still nursing his Chardonnay, he received our order. The description for Conchiglie al Formaggi on the menu made it sound heavenly — Alfredo with four cheeses, including goat, on top of shell pasta — and I was waiting for some good comfort food to go along with a crisp salad with bleu cheese dressing. First mistake. Since I’m diabetic, I asked for whole wheat pasta. Somewhere on the menu(if this is always the case), it should indicate that this choice becomes spaghetti somehow. If it does not, then someone should have asked if this substitution was satisfactory. If I had known, I would likely have changed my order — a text message away. In addition, the noodles were dry. Perhaps the spaghetti noodles absorbed ALL of the Alfredo in the 3 min. walk to our room? Three dabs of white cheese dotted the top. I am not exaggerating. I threw most of it away. At least I had a salad for my birthday dinner. Second mistake. I assumed that almost every restaurant has some form of bleu cheese dressing. Carrabba’s, however, does not. Needless to say, I found this disappointing. I hate paying money for sub-par food. It irks me; it really does. And, with good kitchen management, and a bartender facilitating, poor quality and service should not happen no matter what day it is.(And, this was within a normal dinner time frame.) I think that, if it hadn’t been my birthday, which wasn’t on the stellar side anyway, I would probably not be taking the time to write this. Good restaurants, even chains, should assume that it might be each customer’s birthday and work hard to make dining at their venue a satisfying event. Cutting corners, under-staffing, allowing the B team to go unsupervised — who knows what accounted for the wait. The bartender, at the very least, should have gone back to see what the holdup was and let my husband know that they were working on it – or had to run to Food Lion for goat cheese. Shoddy.

First of all, our waitress is freaking racist, and the funny thing is we went to high school together. We have a party of 5 people that’s asian and Hispanic. We waited 15 minutes to be seated at a half empty restaurant. After we sat down, my bf and I ordered water. When she came back with the drink, my bf asked her if she could bring him a water without ice. She turn around and kinda roll her eyes.(That started to piss my bf off). She then brought some bread out(which is the best part of the whole meal). She only got one load for the whole table, and no plates to share. WTH!!! common sense here please. After that everything just went down hill. She stand right behind our table and talking to this couple for a long time, while our drinks are half empty. She ignored us to the point when the food runner bought out the plates, she took it to the other table thinking it was theirs since the waitress still over there chit chatting. The whole time she was giving us a vibe that she didn’t want to wait on us. She was picking up dishes that we are not even done. WORST service ever!!! And I can said that bc I have been server for years!!! The food is not even that good

Surprisingly good food for a chain restaurant. I like that they feel confident enough that they do not have to resort to «American» sized portions to make up for any lack of quality in the food. I had one of their specials that is a combination dish of the beef marsala and greek grilled chicken. Very delicious and ticked all the boxes. The location isn’t anything to write home about, you will be surrounded by a highway and a few bland looking hotels to look at if you are sat in the outside area. Our server seemed very attentive and friendly without being annoying. If you are in the area and are prepared to spend 30−40bucks for a two person meal, you will not be disappointed.
