5 stars boys. 5 stars. What started off as a pizza craving ended up turning into night of unbridled lust. I ordered my usual, the meatlovers special and eventually… things got wild at the bar and I ended up turning into the«other» white meat. First off, good pizza. Thin crust. Tomato sauce was zesty and not loaded with sugar like them other pizza joints. Good cheese, wasn’t like freezer aisle pizza at Walmart. These folks are generous with the meats and I LIKETHAT. Sausage, pepperonis, meatballs, bacon, hams ALLOFTHEMWEREONIT. It was like pigs line dancing on my tongue. So, the pizzas good here. But let’s not forget the best part about this place is the deserts sitting on the bar stool. This is the first pizza joint i’ve ever had the pleasure of dining in, where you got hunnies sitting half loaded at a connecting bar. It’s supposed to be another business, but they’re kind of connected so when in Rome, do as Caligula would do. Orgy. I parked it at a table and invited 2 lovely girls to partake. Nancy and Tammie, I think that was her name but it’s not important. They each ate a slice and I grabbed one too. I dropped a pepperoni on my shirt and Nancy was eating it all sexy like off my collar. It aint like my wife’s gonna know, she’s long left me. I ordered a round for the bar and they get excited. Then one beer turned into 6. 7 beers turned into an adventure. The bathrooms are hidden in the back in between the pizza joint and the bar. Not well lit. Ever see between 2 ferns? Well this was between 2 bushes. Very clean bathroom I might add. Nancy if you’re reading this, I’ll meet you here next Wednesday baby. Tammie you stay home. 5 stars see ya soon.

Nice clean spot, good pub chips, huge thin crust pizza by the slice! Nice helpful waitstaff. Half order of pub chips for $ 1.95 is a deal. We will be back!

The best in New York style pizza. Just getting a slice? One is ginormous so don’t start with ordering two until you see how big the slice is. Their pasta is pretty right on also.

I drove to NW Hickory last Saturday night, because I wanted NYC pizza, and I wanted to try some place else other than Tony’s Pizza. On my first pass through the area, I couldn’t find the place. On circling back up Center Street, I followed a route that I knew would bring me out directly in front of the restaurant. There was total darkness at the former Frankie’s. I went online, and apparently this pizza restaurant has been absorbed by the adjacent bar, which has expanded into their space. I did not want a bar experience… I wanted pizza. There was no Frankie’s, so I drove away. Heck, at this point I don’t know if they still make pizza at this location. I went to Tony’s Pizza, and yet again, I had a mediocre experience with limp crust. C’est la vie.

Frankie’s now has delivery! Great pizza and great service! The pizza is consistently awesome! The dining area is clean and pleasant. Super place for families, college students or actually anyone wanting good pizza! We always get a salad to share, which is a good size and healthy starter. Slices are huge and you can have any topping added to your slice. Try it out!

I am from New York. I LOVE Pizza. People around here do not know pizza. This pizza was average/okay. I was really looking forward to trying this pie. I ordered a 20 inch pepperoni. The crust is the right thickness, but it was too«doughy.» It is my belief it was slightly undercooked. The cheese and sauce were just average, nothing that a perfect crust could have fixed. I will continue to search for the perfect pie in Hickory. Oh, and it was WAY overpriced.

This is the third pizza place Ive tried in Hickory and also the best. We got a half spinach and jalapeño and half mushroom and canadian bacon. The crust was thin and crispy. Another cool thing is that the lounge, which is connected by a door in the restaurant, has a good selection of beer and the wait staff will bring your food over there for you. Frankie’s also sells pizza by the slice.
