I agree with Sam’s review, I can see why nobody comes to this location. Chick Fil-​A is very busy next door. Now I understand why.
Wendy’s needs change their oil, and improve their customer service.
My drive-​through order of chili I didn’t even get spoons, or any of the other compliments.
I will never return.

Hickory, NC
There are several Wendy’s franchise locations in Hickory. This is one of the better, if not the best, of the bunch.
Why? Due to their proximity to Interstate 40 and Hwy 70, they have a lot of customer traffic, so the food is generally fresh.
I have always gotten the correct order at this location, and they are generally pretty fast on order fulfillment.
I applaud the fact that they still fighting for market share by introducing new menu items all the time. My favorites are still the Carolina classic burgers, Frosty, Side salads, and their Chili.
Lunch Suggestion: One can put together a filling, inexpensive lunch, by ordering a baked potato, topping it with chili, and pairing this «loaded» baked potato with a side salad.
